Watching Leon's every move, Jethro simply stood, his hand now gripping his wand. Unlike his friend, Jet didn't manage to hear Shaw's whisper... The grin had faded from his face as Leon had taken a step to to door. The sparks stopped shooting from the end of his wand, he looked up and around the ceiling of the shop. He couldn't see anything - that was due to the lack of light - but any moment he might spotted. Nothing, no ghosts could be see, even though he had never actually seen one, that wasn't the point.
"Scare you? If i had the ability to use my magic i would, but since i can only shoot sparks how could i close the door from here?" The boy took a step to Leon as he stepped back, "Whats wrong?" Obviously Jethro was on the same sort of level with Leon. He couldn't do magic, and had no idea why the door closed, but didn't know why it wouldn't open. Frowning slightly, Jet took full advantage of the situation, and walked up to the door, and tried pushing on the door frame, before finding the knob and turning it rapidly each way. Letting go, he tried to look through the key hole to see if anyone was on the other side of the door, but it was impossible to tell at the moment. Standing back up he turned around.
"It's locked..." he said quietly looking back at Leon. Was what to come out of this?

"Heh, I think we've got that bit already, mate..." Leon said, frowning slightly at the as-of-yet unopened door. If it wasn't Jethro that had made the door lock, what was it? Was something outside barring the door? It was a possibility, but Leon doubted it. If there was something outside barring the door, it would have given at least slightly. This door hadn't budged a bit. This was something else. At least, that's what Leon thought. One way to find out. Be a bit reckless.
"Clear the way, Jethro," Leon said as he jumped back a couple steps. He then sprang forward, taking himself at a run, leaping when he neared the door and taking it feet-first. An attempted flying kick to bust the door down. Good plan in theory. Would have been lovely if it had worked.
Instead, Leon ended up on the ground, winded and with sore legs. "Dammit," he spat out, frustrated. That's magic alright... Leon thought, looking at the door once again. The question was, if it wasn't him, and it wasn't Jethro, then who? Ghosts couldn't use magic, and Leon didn't think there were any around, besides. Which meant... "There's a rat in here," Leon muttered, getting to his feet. He hadn't broken anything, but his legs were still sore at having to support his slight body weight. That, combined with their current fix, positively awesome situation. Bloody brilliant...

The conditions were perfect. Confusion and paranoia had successfully been installed, lighting was so minimal that only vague outlines could be successfully determined. He was hidden well above and of course, he knew magic while they obviously, did not. From his vantage point in the shadows, one would find the messenger of fear smirking if one could provide a way to see him.
With another whisk of his wand, an archaic but sturdy shelf tipped away from the boys taking another with it. Oh yes, this was a most amusing venture to undertake.

"Seems we do..." Jethro then said dumbly in reply to Leon's first comment. The young boy then watched his fellow Incoming first year jump back a few steps, before charging into the door, and attempting to kick open the door. Personally, he thought it was sort of stupid, but it was still an idea. "Well, it was a brilliant idea, had it worked..." his voice lighter than it had been a minute or two ago.
"You alright there Leon?" Jet asked, taking a step over to where Leon was. He was a bit concerned at thew boys sudden action and leaping course, but hopefully he'd be fine. Jet's thoughts were then put to rest as Leon stood up. Then, presto, perfect opportunity to scare the wits out of the young fella. "Crap!" he said in an alerted tone as the shelves fell some where in the dim lit room. Jet spun around , just as a case with a wand in it, came rolling across the floor in front of the boy. Dust spread along the floor, and other wands and their lost cases were flung along the floor, into random corners. The shelves were some-what slightly splintered now, but it wasn't actually the boys fault. After all, what magic could they do?
"I think you're right..." he then said bending down and picking up the case. Looking carefully at it, Jethro then looked slowly around, squinting, trying to search for some source for what was happening. It wasn't pleasing at all, no magic to use, they current age, and obviously something very strong against them. These thoughts continued to start thoughts like 'Who's out to get me?' and 'Why us?' running through Jethro's mind. Looking back down at the wand case again, he spoke slowly and steadily, words of which were "I think we need to either break a way out of here, which looks doubtful... Or rat out this thing..." The boys blue eyes now glaring.

While the boys contemplated just what to do, Robert had moved in the shadows with soft footsteps, only the occasional creak of archaic and warped floorboards shed any perspective as to what might be lurking. They were gallant, foolish, so it seemed, but yet had the natural reaction of cowardice to the unknown and foreign, a pair of future Gryffindors most likely. It made him wonder if either of them was a full blown muggle--thought he doubted that concept.
Still he said nothing, and now did nothing. They were scared, paranoid, but thinking, and careful of the choices they had-and apparently one of them had a slight cocky confidence in him. Maybe they would prove not such a waste of breath after all...

The ache of Leon's legs faded away quickly enough, replaced by the adrenaline coursing through his system. Part of that adrenaline was caused by the collapsing shelves nearby. The dust the resulting crash kicked up made Leon cough a bit, but he kept any of it from getting in his eyes, and his airways cleared up after a few seconds. Thanks to his response to the dust, he had no opportunity for an exclamation similar to his counterpart's, but he was nearly as alarmed. It seemed their rat was having fun playing with them... fun that Leon wasn't to keen to let it keep on having, in case it got out-of-hand. Hell, things already were getting to a point, but what that point was was not knowledge that Leon was privy to. Whatever point it was getting to, though, Leon didn't feel particularly eager to get to it without a means of armament. He drew out one of his wands, though he did not know which one. He wasn't paying attention to any specifics, and he couldn't feel any difference, either physically or magically. Whichever one it was, Leon held it ready at his side. "Rat out the rat..." he muttered, mulling over the prospect Jethro had given him. "Think we can? Any ideas?" he asked, turning first to his counterpart, then toward the rest of the broken-down building. This would be interesting... Leon vaguely wondered what would happen if they accidentally blew the place up. Not like they could, but you know the imagination of youth... active thing, isn't it? { Guys had to wait for me forever... sorry much. }
