...Such was the thoughts of one mischievous little boy, who only a couple minutes ago had been outside, in the sunshine and among a whole crowd of people doing their shopping. He had heard that this place was haunted... he didn't think that it really was, but it looked cool enough to check out. Leon had only been here a few days, but he knew the layout of Diagon Alley well enough by now to not get lost. It wouldn't be that hard to sneak into the old place he'd thought. And he was right. After finding a gap in the boards covering the front entrance, it was almost too easy to squeeze through and thus end up inside the musty old store. The people outside were too busy with their shopping to notice, and had provided excellent cover for the, as aforementioned, mischievous little boy.
Once inside, Leon noticed that it was kind of dark. He probably should have expected it, considering that the door and windows were boarded-up fairly well, although there were enough gaps to provide light to see by. Walking around slowly, he approached the back wall, which was covered by many, many thin boxes, gathering dust. Reaching forward, toward a particularly low stack, he picked up the topmost box, and opened it. It was a wand, which, although the box was covered in dust, looked pretty new. Taking it out of the box, Leon felt a warm wave of who-knew-what go through him. And yet, the sensation was oddly familiar... it felt exactly like what he had felt when he first grasped his own wand, which was currently in his pocket. "Hmm..." Leon let out, examining the wand more closely. "That's interesting..."

A few days before this certain even, the small boy known as Jethro Stevens had already gathered all of his books, robes, a cauldron and to his happiest knowledge, his very own wand. Already meeting two people, Maddyson and Braxton, he was happy enough to have some people he would be soon to meet at Hogwarts. This day though, Jethro was here to explore. He had already said to his Grand father that he would be back before dark, and not to worry, just so some adventure could take over the boys thoughts. All of the shops were 'cool', but he hadn't just found something really exiting to do.
However coming to a not-so-known end of the Ally, Jet was today wearing a pair of black dress pants, and a green and blue stripped polo top. Safely in his pants, was is 10 inch, Jarrah, Dragon Heart Strong cored wand. Running his hands through his hair, like he did allot, the boy approached a shabby boarded up shop. Taking a second glance around, he heard a slight 'clang' as he drew closer to the closed up shop. Bending down to the ground, he peered around before finding a gap in two boards, looking around to make sure people were still busy, Jethro climbed quickly through the gap with no trouble, before emerging into the small shop inside, realizing he wasn't alone. "Whats interesting?" she said walking up to the boy, who was holding... a wand? "I guess we both had the same idea..." he smiled and looked around again.

Leon had noted the label on the now-empty box he had placed back on the stack. Ash, Pheonix Feather, 11 1/2 inches, read the label on the top. It wasn't exactly the same as his own wand - made of oak, with a pheonix feather core as well, at exactly a foot - but it was kind of close. And it just felt so similar... it was kind of odd, but Leon suddenly had bigger things to worry about, as he had just heard a voice behind him.
He turned around quickly, at once seeing the source of the voice. Another boy, just about Leon's height, give or take an inch. He didn't look dangerous... quite far from it, he was wearing somewhat dressy clothes. Leon himself was just wearing a pair of jeans and an orange shirt, his black hoodie tied around his waist.
"Oh, nothing's interesting," chirped Leon, trying to act like he wasn't trespassing where he shouldn't, nor fingering old wands that he had no business touching. "Who're you?" Leon asked, getting around the fact that, even if he was trespassing, this guy wouldn't snitch on him; he'd be in trouble, too, after all. Maybe this guy was a Hogwarts student, or else going to go in the new term.

Watching the boy examine the wand for a few second longer, Jet smiled and saw a boy around his age, wearing jeans and an orange shirt. Man that made him feel posh. Though when the boy spoke, it made Jethro feel as if both of them shouldn't be where they were. "I'm Jethro Stevens, I'm going into Hogwarts this year as a first year. How about you?" sure, if he was trespassing so was the other boy. They both would be in trouble if found, but by the looks of it, everyone else was shopping and if anyone was to come in, likes are they wouldn't be the shop owner.
Shoving his hands into his pockets, Jet felt around deeply before pulling out his own wand. "Have you got a wand yet?" he smiled and lowered his wand so it didn't look like a threat to the other boy. Jethro did not however feel too keen on touching the other wands just yet, the other boy still might think of him as suspicious on how he also ending up in this shabby old shop.

The slightly silly grimace Leon had put on in an attempt to defer any accusations about why he was here was replaced a genuine smile when the boy introduced himself as an incoming Hogwarts student. Leon had met a couple already, but it was always nice to meet his classmates. As such, he saw no reason to not return the summary. "I'm Leon Kendall. I'm a gonna-be Hogwarts student, same as you," he said happily. He had left behind a good amount of friends, but it looked like he wouldn't be too lonely at his new school.
"Hmm?" was Leon's first response to Jethro's latter question, though. Leon did already have a wand... and he had another wand right in his hands. Would Jethro think him a thief if Leon said outright that he was thinking about taking the wand? Well, Leon ddin't want to take any chances of that; he'd rather not lie to a potential new friend right off the bat, but... "Yeah, of course I do. Right here, mate," he said, cheerily enough, giving the wand a small whack into his open palm. Probably not the best idea, as that made a couple small red sparks fly out of the tip. The sparks didn't set anything on fire, but they served to surprise Leon enough to make him jump a little. "Heh heh... you didn't see that, aye," Leon said, recovering quickly by smiling wide again.

The facial expressions on Leon's face were some what difficult to understand. Well anyway, now he was smiling and that was good enough for Jethro. "Nice to meet a fellow Hugwarts Student then." he said with a grin still firm in place. However, just as Jet was contemplating if he wanted to know Leon's answer to him asking 'Have you got a wand yet' he flickered his eyes around at all the small boxes filled with wands.
Finally being relived of what he might hear, Jethro smiled and said "Awesome. What is its core and wood if i may ask?" he was just curious of on people's wands. Then he would know a greater range rather then being out in the dark. Although jumping back like Leon had done when sparks flew from the other boys wand, he regained his balance bfore shaking his head slightly. "Powerful bond i see..." Sparks has only come out of the wand in Jet's hand since the previous 4 had either made wind from their tips, or just plainly zapped out of his hands. Smirking and looking around he peers out of the shop window, almost waiting for something to pop out, but it didn't. "Spooky, aye?" he then commented, just to see how Leon would react.

Leon would have answered Jet's question right after he had asked it, but the small episode with shooting the sparks out of his wand-tip had distracted them both slightly. Jet noted the powerful bond that Leon and his supposed wand seemed to have. "You betcha," he said confidently. It sounded like the question of the wand's ownership wasn't going to come into question. Which reminded him... "My wand's wood and core, you said? It's made o' ash, and it's got a pheonix feather. 'Leven-and-a-half inches," he said, remembering the notes that had been on the box, and his smile becoming slightly wider as he said them without a hitch.
Leon noticed that Jet was looking toward the boarded-up window, and he looked at it himself. Dust that they had stirred up was dancing in the fragmented beams of light that managed to sneak their way through the boards. "Spooky, aye?" Jethro had asked. "Heh, not really," Leon replied, smirking. "Why? You scared, Jethro?" he asked. Leon would have nudged him, if Jet had been closer, but as he was out of elbow's reach, he settled for the one-liner.

Raising his eyes browns slightly, Jethro answered back form the combination of Leon's wand with "Sounds pretty awesome." he really had to be more specific at times like this.
Why? You scared, Jethro? rang through the young boys head. Eying Leon carefully, she smirked before saying "Nope, but its spooky compared Diagon Ally. Even though they are some pretty freaky people out there." he said in a chuckle. What more could you want in fact. In a store, with no one but another student that could also get in trouble, stashed in a room with hundreds maybe even thousands of wands. It was quite the adventure palace. "So what drew you into this broken down lil' shop?" Jethro questioned before leaning back on one of the shelves. The dust and cobwebs were thinking along the row of wands, and a small black and orange spider crept across a maroon box. Jethro watched the small spider while waiting from Leon's reply.

Leon half-shrugged when Jethro answered his question; that sounded like a dodge to him, but he wasn't going to push anything. As for what drew him into "this broken-down lil' shop"... "I was bored," Leon said, grinning at the question. "I heard this ol' place was haunted, so I decided to see if it lived up to the reputation."
Leon pocketed the wand that he had taken, right alongside his own wand. He hadn't initially intended to relieve the former wand store of one of its inventory; he had only meant to explore around, but he supposed that's how things played out. "So, you escape your folks to come out here?" Leon asked, making conversation.

(Aaaannnd -Thread Crash-)
Interesting? Psh, the old wandcrafter's shop would only be 'interesting' to over curious brats like those currently present. He had watched them from the safety of the upper level shadows for quite some time and personally felt them to be trespassing on private grounds. Mind you, this trespassing was no worse than Robert's own but, the boys intrigued him. After all, not many would willingly venture into a place like this unless they were looking for trouble. And yet, it was a shame, they seemed far too young to Robert for him to even consider wasting the breath of his ideals. They probably wouldn't even recognize him, kids of their age never read the Prophet.
For now he would remain concealed, watching and listening carefully, if at best he got a one-one encounter, perhaps then he might make a move. It was brazen to consider, but brazen, was what was required to install fear into people's minds. And that was his goal, that, was the Deva's goal.

(Whoa... Now it's interesting...)
As Leon answered his question, Jethro was unaware of what else was in the shop. But no matter, he was in conversation now, "Haunted, eh?" before grinning and nodding slightly. Now shoving his wand back into the boys pocket, Jet looked back to the way both boys had come in.
"Sorta, ya see most of my family are muggles and only my Grandfather is a wizard." he thought for a second remember why he had followed the same rout Leon did. "And sine I've already got all my school stuff, i decided to explore some more. Anyway, i heard a noise inside this shop and gave Diagon Ally the slip." adding a smile. Looking to wards the spider however that was now coming quite close to Jethro's shoulder, he took his weight off the shelf, before watching the small creature scurry away at the boys sudden movement. "Do you think it's really haunted?" Jet then asked with a smirk on his face.

{ Indeed... XD }
Leon snickered a little, waving his hand in front of him. "Neh, not really," he said, grinning. "And even if it is, ghosts aren't all that bad. I know a couple ghosts back home, they're pretty cool." Leon wasn't making up his anecdote. Back in his hometown, the church-house there was haunted by a few friendlies, ghosts of priests, monks, and a nun or two.
Leon knew ghosts weren't terrifying like Muggles made them out to be, but he still thought that they were pretty cool; hence the justification for his reason. Leon could have made it sound like ghosts were terrifying monsters, but he hadn't. Maybe he'd pull that farce out on a couple of other first years at Hogwarts... maybe not though, he didn't really want to insult them, right? Leon noticed Jet's spider friend. "I think the lil' mate likes you, Jethro," he said, grinning still.

So, they wanted ghouls and ghosts did they? Well, he was neither, but that didin't mean he couldn't have alittle fun. Due to the boarded up windows, the lighting of the room was perfect. He was hidden, they were visible since they were still vaguely illuminated by the light of the door and most importantly, he was above them. Which meant he officially had all rights to the wonderful element of surpise.
His teal-grey eyes loomed ominously, searching for a first target. They wanted parnormal, they'd get parnormal and then some. "Let's have alittle fun..." Robert muttered, slipping his wand silently from his cloak and pointing it toward the partially open door. It was always open, and now...
"Colloportus."
With a mutter it would be closed. And Evil said let there be darkness.

His eyebrow lifting again, Jethro grinned broadly before saying "That awesome. Since i live in a non-magical community, theres like nothing spooky or magically cool around where i live, just an old guy down the street who sells pick chickens. Thats close enough to spooky as it is." Jethro took a quick glance to where the spider was now emerging again before looking up at Leon, a natural look on his face. "I hope I'm not that scary..." he said in a snicker.
Snapping his head across to near where the boys had come in however, the shabby door had closed. But the strange thing was, neither of the boys had touched it, had they? There was no wind, or was there? Or were there really ghosts in this old abandoned shop that the Hogwarts students had crawled into. Now stuck in darkness, only slight cracks of light shining through the boarded window, the dust stirring more. "You still reckon it's not Haunted?" Jethro questioned Leon pulling out his wand. Shooting some continuous sparks from the end of his wand, Jet could see the glimmer of his friends face just visible. Now what?

All had seemed to be going well. Leon and Jet had been getting along great, both of them grinning like they were in a grinning contest, taking it in turns to snicker or laugh at each other's quips. All had seemed to be going well, but apparently, it was time for a change of tact. Although, that didn't mean that Leon noticed it for what it was immediately.
As far as Leon could tell, there had been a faint noise, like a gust of wind - actually Shaw's whisper - and the next thing he knew, the door was closed. Creepier could have happened, though that didn't change the fact that Leon hadn't been expecting anything. His first thought was that Jethro had magicked the door closed. He didn't seem to know what had caused the door to close, either. But Leon didn't think there was a ghost around; they always brought a slight chill with them, and Leon felt nothing of the sort.
"Nah, this ol' place isn't haunted," Leon said, still grinning, not knowing the full gravity of the situation. "You're being silly, Jethro. Trying to scare me, eh?" he continued, walking over toward the door carefully, then feeling for the doorknob. He found it easily, but once he turned it and tried to pull the door open again, it didn't budge. He tried pulling again; still, there was nothing. Odd... he thought, letting go of the knob and stepping backwards.
