Ryan grinned as Brax's dad told them that he had loved messing around with some of the items in the shop. When he got to the part about using them on unsuspecting people Ryan became really curious as to what types of things were sold there. If they were really cool he would get some to use at Hogwarts when they went there. He imagined that the school would be full of unsuspecting people.
Guessing what was running through Ryan's head Jason asked, "Is the joke stuff even allowed at Hogwarts?" The question was more directed towards Braxton's parents then to the kids because he could already guess what their answer would be. It would be 'of course they are' whether they really were or not was a completely different story. He wasn't really against bending a few rules but he didn't was Ryan in too much trouble his first year at the school.

"Of course they are!" Braxton said beaming. They had to be right? After all what fun would it be if they couldn't take their supplies into the school with them.
Seeing Braxton answer the question his dad just smiled. He hadn't ever been to worried about Braxton, and thought that the most trouble those two might get into would be throwing a dungbomb in the girls dormitory or something. He could be underestimating them though. Brax's mom on the other had thought it was a very legitamate question for Jason to ask. "It depends on the stuff," she said with a smile, "I doubt they would care about somethings, but others I am sure they would."

Ryan was right there with Braxton on this one, not that he wasn't on almost everything but that wasn't really the point. "They have to let you bring the stuff in or what would the fun be if they didn't?" he added at the end of Brax's statement. He really wanted to add 'who cares either way' but knew that his dad would get mad. It just seemed luticas to not allow them to have joke items in the school. That would ruin all of the fun in being at a boarding school.
Jason just smiled at the two kids thinking that that was the response he had been expecting. He really didn't expect them to see the logic in the school not wanting some of the joke items in there walls, like not wanting a mess or anyone to get hurt. No he was pretty sure that none of those reasons ever popped into either of their heads and just had to grin. After all he would have been exactly like them as a kid. "What kind of stuff do they sell?" he asked in response to Braxton's mom.

"They sell all kinds of things," Brax said with a smile. He had heard about all of the different things that they sold, but had never been there.
Braxton's dad just smiled, yes it was true they did have all kinds of things. Probably even more thing then back when he use to frequent the joke shop. Deciding to add to Braxton's comment he said with a smile, "It's true they do have all kinds of things, like dungbombs, and others. When we're in there we you should look around, it really is awesome."

"I'll have to." Jason said with a smile thinking that he would look around out of curiousity and also to know what exactly his son was buying and planning to use at Hogwarts. This way there wouldn't be the clueless silence if Ryan got in trouble for one of the joke items and Jason heard from the school about it. He always like to know what was going on and tended to get a bit annoyed when he didn't.
On the other hand though, he thought that if the joke shop had some really cool things that he would get himself some and use them against his wife and little son as a joke on April fools or another day.

Corbin had pretty much finished off his entire ice cream cone by now and was just sitting there happily listening to what items the joke shop contained. He was really a sight to see, if he could have gotten ice cream anywhere else it would be amazing. It seemed like he hadn't eaten the cone, but rather the cone had engulfed him. Braxton's parents didn't mind to much though, when they were ready to do they would just clean him up with a quick spell and be done with it. Actually his mom thought it was rather cute in a messy, glad it's not at home sort of way.
"We should stock up while we are there Ry. That way we will have something to entertain ourselves with while we are at Hogwarts." Brax said with a grin. He knew that his dad would get him a couple of things, after all how could he deny him the things that he loved as a kid when he was Brax's age.

"Ya we should." Ryan said with a sly smile, "Just think of the pranks we could pull." He didn't know still really what types of things they would find at the joke shop or what the things would do, but he was sure that they had stuff that they could get into a bit of trouble with. That is if he felt like behaving out of the norm and causing a bit of trouble.
Jason just stared at Corbin in amazement. He wasn't really sure that he would have been alright if Ryan or his other son had made that kind of a mess of themselves. Nor would he want to be the one to clean either of them up. But then again he wasn't a wizard so it would be a bit different for him to clean up his kid, if he his young son had ate an ice cream cone like that, then it would be for Brax's parents.

"Ooo, that reminds me," Braxton's mom said with a grin handing off her cone to Brax's dad and reaching into her purse. "I just remembered that I brought the camera with me, today. And a picture of Corbin would be so nice to have. I would also like to get one of the boys just so I can have them for the scrap books she added."
Braxton just smiled, maybe he could use that picture of Corbin later on in life as blackmail. Probably not but it would still be a funny one to have around. Corbin on the other hand didn't mind having his picture taken at all and just sat there smiling as his mom snapped it of him. She had been taking pictures off and on there whole stay here, saying that she just wanted them because it was such a great moment. What with Brax buying his school supplies and things for the first time.
After she was done snapping a couple of photos of Corbin she turned the camera on Brax and Ryan as they talked about the joke shop.

Jason thought that it would be a perfect picture for the Spicers to have of Corbin. He was adorable covered in all that ice cream and the way that he just sat there and let her take the picture was quite amazing. If it would have been his youngest on the other end of the camera it would have been a fight for the photo. He never liked to stay still and especially didn't when he knew that it was what they wanted him to do.
Ryan just smiled as Brax's mom turned the camera on them. He really didn't mind getting his picture taken and wasn't about to shy way from the camera.

Once she had succeeded in taking pictures of everyone there, mutliply times for that matter, Braxton's dad said with a smile and a little laugh, "Okay hunny, I think we have enough. Let's save some for later on tonight when the kids are riding their brooms or something."
"That's a great idea," his mom said beaming over at her husband. She would love to have some pictures of the boys on their new brooms.
Braxton was just thankful she put the camera away. One or two photos maybe, but that many was just embarrassing. He hoped Ryan and his dad wouldn't mind to much and just write it off as his mother being overly sentimental.

"Can I get a copy of those pictures?" Jason asked thinking that it would be nice to have some updated photos of his son and even better if they were with his new friend. He didn't have many pictures of Ryan that were too current, only getting them when Ryan did something fun or something that was a novelty to him. The last one he could remember receiving of Ryan was when they had been surfing in Australia and his wife had remembered the camera and taken pictures of the entire family having a blast at the beach.

"You want to blackmail Corbin later on too?" Braxton asked with a smile and a laugh. He knew that wasn't what Jason had been getting at, but it was just to good to pass up saying.
Corbin on the other hand was wondering what on earth blackmail was. "Blackmail me? What?" He asked with a puzzled look on his face.
Seeing this his dad just laughed and said,"No one is going to blackmail you Corb. And sure Jason, we would be happy to make you copies of them. There should be some cool ones when they are up on their brooms tonight. Well at least they will be a little more animated then these ones."

Jason had to laugh at Braxton. The boy could sceme, though he wasn't too sure if it was him that he would be announcing it to his father, since the picture was blackmail quality. It would be great blackmail when Corbin entered his teenage years, but Jason wasn't going to promote it. "No." he said laughing, "I want them to put up in my office, well at least a few of them. I don't know if they all would have room with as cluttered as it is." In all truth his office was anything but cluttered, but there was a couple of papers and folders scattered about so to him it was pretty cluttered. Not to mention that he hardly ever was in it very long and when he was he didn't really have time to clean it up.

"Ya, pictures are nice to have around. I like to keep some in my office too, they are just fun to sit back and watch sometimes." Brax's dad said with a smile before he finished off his ice cream cone. He, unlike Jason, spent a lot of time in his office at the Ministry of Magic. Sure he was out in the field sometimes, but a lot of the time he was there. "Especially if you get a really funny one, or a memorable moment, then it is just nice to sit back and watch it over again." he added. As Brax's dad talked with Jason his wife decided to clean Corbin up so that he would be presentable to go into the joke shop with when they got that far. Taking out her wand she gave it a little flick and Corbin was clean.

"Watch?" Jason asked with a puzzled look on his face. He thought you looked at pictures not really watched them. Maybe Brax's dad had just said the wrong word or maybe in the wizarding world pictures were different than in the muggle one. He had finished his ice cream cone a few minutes before and was waiting on the rest of them, that had yet to finish, to finish off their ice cream cones.
Ryan was still working on his ice cream cone. He was almost finished with it but not quite. Biting off part of the cone he chewed it waiting to hear about the pictures that his dad and Brax's were talking about.
