"I know which kind I want!" Corbin said ecstatically pointing to the multicolored one that was labeled playdough and then to the cone that Braxton and Ryan had both indicated. "I want that one in the in that cone."
"Okay great," Braxton's dad said with a smile, "But do you want two scoops of that or one of another kind?"
Corbin hadn't thought about two scoops, oh well he would just have to choose another kind. "I think I want that one then too," he said point to the bubblegum one with actual bubblegum in it. As he pointed out his flavors the person behind the counter scooped them out, putting them in the cone, and then handing it to the little guy.

Jason just smiled as he watched Corbin pick out his ice cream. He wouldn't be getting either of those flavors but ironically they were some of his sons favorites back home. They must be favorites of all the little guys. he thought to himself as he tried to make a decision on what he was going to get. "I think I will have rasberry ice cream with really rasberries on top and in a plain waffle cone." Jason said pointing to the ice cream he wanted and indicating that he would like two scoops of it.

Braxton hadn't really paid any attention to what Corbin was getting he was to busy trying to decided the flavors that he wanted. It was a tough choice between cookies n' cream, mint chocolate chip and rocky road. He liked them all, with his favorite being cookies n' cream. He would be getting that one for sure, but what would go best with it, he wondered. Did he feel like chocolate or mint?
While Braxton was decided his parents took the opportunity to tell the man what they would like. After Jason ordered they placed theirs and then waited for Brax to make his final decision. "Are you almost ready there Brax?" he dad asked with a smile, hoping that he would make a decision sometime soon.

Ryan had finally landed on what he wanted to order. Since his dad had went with the Raspberry and real raspberries on top, he would go with the chocolate stuff and just have a couple of bites of his dad's ice cream. It was the two kinds he was trying to decide and now that his dad had it his decision was a lot easier. Stepping up to the counter he placed his order of Rocky Road and another chocolate flavor of ice cream that he had never tried before.

It looked as if it was Brax's turn to order. Man, he still wasn't sure which to go with. Oh well he would just have to choose one and get the other one next time. Seeing as how Ryan got Rocky Road he went with that and his stable Cookies n Cream. "I'll have the Rocky Road, and Cookies n Cream in the chocolate dipped waffle cone. The one with the sprinkles one it," Braxton said with a smile as he watched the man behind the counter scoop out his ice cream. Once he had it in hand and everyone had gotten theres Brax's dad stepped up to the cashier and paid for all of the ice cream. After this was done his mom suggested that they all go outside and eat their ice cream at one of the tables out there.

Ryan's dad really didn't want to let Brax's parents buy, but didn't protest since he knew that it would be important to Brax's dad to pay for one of their outings. He was prefectly happy with going out side to eat their ice creams. After all it was a bueatiful day and there was a table open. Walking outside he sat down at one of the tables that had a umbrella over it and ate his Raspberry ice cream. Ryan took a seat next at the table with the rest of teh kids, Braxton and Corbin.

Braxton made his way out to the table just outside the shop and set down happily eating his ice cream. Closely followed by Corbin who seemed to have the whole cone in his face. It was very amusing to see. By the time he set down ice cream was all over his face. Braxton just laughed as he saw him sit down next to him, but Corbin didn't care.
Brax's parents exited out after the kids and took a seat next to Jason. His mom just shook her head when she say the little guy covered in ice cream. Oh well might as well just let him go at it and have him clean up later, because if they did it now he would just be a mess one minute later.

Jason looked over to make sure that the kids were all doing all right with their ice creams and was going to offer them a napkin or something when he caught sight of Corbin. He didn't really think that a napkin would help that little dude at this time. Thinking that only a good hosing down would do the trick, but it did look like he was enjoying himself immensely. Smiling he just decided to let the kids have at their ice creams and not bother with the napkins. He was kind of a perfectionist, but he didn’t really want that to ruin the kids fun so if Ryan happened to get something on his cloths then they would just have to deal with it later.

"So where should we go after we are done?" Braxton asked with a smile, taking another lick of his ice cream cone, and wondering where Ryan wanted to visit next. He knew that he personally wanted to stop by the joke shop before they left, but couldn't really think of anywere else that he needed to go. He had gotten everything he needed and made his rounds to the candy shop, the quidditch supply store, and many other places.
Corbin just continued eating happily, he didn't really care where they went next. All he knew was that between the Mountain Dew and the ice cream he was bound to have a sugar high.

Ryan thought for a moment about where they shoud go when they got through with their ice cream. Nothing really came to mind as he stared around the alley looking for a place where he hadn't yet been. It was tough because he had been to the majority of the stores in the alley, but just as he was going to reply with an 'I don't know' something caught his eye. It was a shop that he had yet to visit and he couldn't believe that he had almost over looked it. After all it was probably one of the funnest shops in the alley. "I havne't been to the joke shop yet, have you?" he asked hoping that the answer would be no or at least that Brax would want to see it again.

"Nope, not yet," Braxton said with a grin. "I have been wanting to go to that shop too. I have never been there before so it will be a blast to see and I have heard that they have really cool things there." Now that they had a place to go Brax wondered why they couldn't just go there now. After all their ice cream was in cones, and therefore they could take it with them. One look at Corbin would have given him his answer, however he still decided to ask his mom and dad if they could start over in it's direction.
"I think it's best if we finish off our ice cream here," His mom said with a smile over to him, "There will be plenty of time to check out the joke shop when we are finished. I just don't think that they would appreciate the mess."

"It sounds like they have quite a few things that would be interesting to see." Ryan said remembering what he had heard other people saying about the store as tehy passed them on the street or when he briefly talked to them in the stores that he had visited. He remembered one of the people in flourish and blotts telling him that he should visit that shop before he left Diagon Alley and he was going to make sure that he did.
Jason had to silently agree with Braxton's mom on this one. He couldn't imagine the joke shop being happy with them if they had went in there with Corbin eating his cone enthusiastically and makeing a mess all around him. He didn't even think that they would appreciate any of them taking food into there because you never knew what accident might happen.

"Ya that's what I have heard as well," Braxton said beaming. He hoped that his parents would have enough money left over so that he could get one or two things while he was there. If not it would still be cool to see and he would just save up his money and buy it the next time that they were in Diagon Alley. "Alright," Braxton added with a smile over in his moms direction, he knew that there would still be time to look at it so he just sat there contently eating his cone.

Ryan agreed with Braxton, on that, they could start to head over to the joke shop, but understood why Brax's parents didn't think that that would be such a good idea. He also new that if they had reached the shop there was no way that his dad would let him enter it until he had finished off his ice cream cone. His dad was a bit to picky to want to take the chance that someone would make a mess in the store. Smiling Ryan nodded his head in agreement with Brax's parents and when Braxton said alright. It was fine with him too. After all they weren't in a real hurry. It was still pretty early in the day.

"You guys will love the joke shop," Brax's dad said with a smile, remembering back to when he use to go there and get different things. He had a blast with the things that he use to buy there and knew that Brax and Ry would like it too. "I loved that shop when I was a kid. There were so many things to choose from, and it was the funniest thing in the world to use one of the items on an unsuspecting person." With his last statement Brax's mom gave him dad a look that plainly said, 'Don't give them ideas.'
