Jason loaded up his plate after everyone had taken what they wanted for their first round of food. The buffalo wings were one of his favorite appetizers and he decided to start his meal off with them first. Eating a couple of them he was surprised that Corbin would eat one and then want another one. To Jason they were just right but he thought that they were still quite spicy and he knew that they would have been way to spicy for his youngest son. Jason even thought that they were probably even a bit spicy for Ryan, but knew that Ryan would eat them anyways.

Braxton was content just eating his piece of pizza and his Mountain Dew. He didn't really like meat like that, where it was still on the bone, all that much. It kind of grossed him out to a degree.
He was also enjoying himself telling Ryan all of the places nearby his house that they could fly to on a broom. There was plenty of open space to just cruise around, and who knew maybe after dinner or something Brax's dad would play them in a little game of quidditch. Of course Jason would be welcome, but who knew if he would really want to get on one. He seemed about as muggle as you could get.

Ryan was way excited about the prospect of flying on his own broom and was glad to hear that there was plenty of places around Brax's house where they could fly them, assuming that he could fly one properly before the day was over.
Taking another bite of his pizza he couldn't help but beam when Brax said that they might could even have a bit of a Quidditch scrimmage too. It sounded like a blast to just get out there and play a game or two. "Ya that would be awesome." Ryan said smiling and then taking a drink of his Coke, "We could try and score on him or something." he added thinking that they probably couldn't play a full fledged Quidditch game but they could certainly shoot the Quaffle and play keep away with it or something, he didn't quite know.

As plates began to clear the waiter made his way over to where they were sitting and asked if they needed anything else or if they would like any dessert before they left. Braxton's mom knew that the kids had wanted ice cream, but thought that they could just get it at the ice cream parlor back in Diagon Alley. That way there would be a lot more choices for them to choose from. "Nope we're good," she said with a smile hoping that she wouldn't have to hear any objections from her kids.
After the waiter had bussled away Braxton finished off the rest of his pizza and was half way through his second Mountain Dew. He knew that sooner or later they would get ice cream so it didn't really worry him too much. His parents always came through with what they said, well except on really rare occasions.

Ryan didn't really worry about dessert too much since he knew that his dad would make sure that they got some and he had been really wanting to try the shop in Diagon Alley. He had heard that it was full of different kinds of flavors and that nothing really compared to it, but the kid that he talked to might not have ever been to a muggle ice cream shop. Taking the last few bites of his buffalo wings Ryan stacked his silverware on his plate and handed it to the waiter so that he could clear the table easier. Once the plates were cleared from the table the waiter reappeared with the bill, handing it to Ryan's dad.

As the waiter bussled away from the table Brax's mom said with a smile, "I figured you boys would like to try the ice cream parlor in Diagon Alley. That way you can pick which flavors you get and even which kind of cone to go with it."
Braxton had to agree, he had wanted to try that place since they had arrived at Diagon Alley. Oh how he wanted a cookies in cream and rocky road ice cream in a waffle cone with chocolate and sprinkle on the cone. Or if they had some other kind of flavor he would go with that. "Sounds great to me," Brax said with a smile.

"Ya I have been wanting to try that one." Ryan chipped in. His favorite flavors of ice cream were any of the ones that had to do with chocolate. He loved chocolate ice cream and didn't really plan on switching up his favorites for another kind once he got to the ice cream parlor in Diagon Alley. He had been known to go for some of the fruit flavors before but he didn't think that he was in that kind of a mood today, unless they had Raspberry, with real raspberries mixed into it.
"That will work." Jason said signing the debit card receipt and handing the pen that he had borrowed back to the waiter, "Everyone ready to go?"

"Yeah, I am," Brax said smiling. The sooner they got out of there the sooner they would make it to the ice cream joint, and that was high on Brax's objectives. "Let's go so we can get to the ice cream shop."
"Ya Corbin," added agreeing with Brax all the way. He was up for ice cream any day and today was no different.
"It will still be there in a minute," his dad said with a smile and a small laugh. "We need to find out how much to pay before we can do anything." He hadn't noticed that Jason had taken care of the bill. Even if he had been paying attention he would have never thought that a plastic card could cover a lunch, after all plastic wasn't worth all that much in his opinion.

"Me too." Ryan added in after Brax's little brother. He was wondering if the adults would be ready thought because at the moment that he agreed with Brax and Corbin Brax's dad made to talk.
"Don't worry about it." Jason said with a smile placing his debit card back into his wallet, "I have already taken care of it, so we are good to go." He didn't ever carry much cash on him and only used it on rare occasions. He tended to pay for everything with either his debit card or his credit card. If he paid with credit then he payed it right off the day the bill came out so that he could avoid paying interest on it.

"Oh okay," Brax's dad said with a smile getting up from his seat. Once everyone was ready to go they all headed out of the restuarant and back over to the Leaky Cauldron. Once inside it they made their way to the secret entrance to Diagon Alley. Braxton having seen him dad tap the bricks on multiply occasions now insisted on being the one to do it for the group.
Tapping the bricks the entrance appeared and he went bounding through it straight in the direction of the ice cream shop.

Ryan followed Brax out of the pub and back to Diagon Alley. He was surprised that Brax had remembered how to get into the Alley. He had had to have someone show him how to get in and even then he couldn't remember the exact combination. Now that he watched Brax though he thought that he could do it if he ever needed to again. It didn't look all that complicated but then again neither did plenty of other things until you actually gave them a try, so he wasn't going to assume anything. Once into the alley Ryan tore after Braxton. He was bound and determined to be the second one there after Brax.
Jason just laughed lightly as the kids went running down the street. "Slow down a bit." he said not wanting them to run into anyone, but of course they didn't pay him any attention and just continued to run. "They must really want their ice cream." Jason said turning to Brax's dad.

Of course seeing the older kids running down the street only wanted to make Corbin do it to. Only he was a lot shorter and slower then the other two boys which didn't bode well for the other patrons who were walking down the street with towering packages. Almost running into several before he finally made it to his destination.
"They must," Braxton's dad said with a laugh and a smile. He knew that they were excited to go to the ice cream shop, but this was more like they thought it was going to close any second. "You would think it was closing or something."

"Ya." Jason said with another laugh as he walked towards the shop. He wasn't about to run and just had to smile as Corbin took off after Brax and Ryan. Those two would surely lead Corbin astray if they weren't careful. Reaching the ice parlor he walked inside to find Ryan looking at all the possible ice creams through the see through counter. "See any thing that catches your eye yet?" he asked with a smile walking up behind them and looking over their shoulders to see what kind he might want.

Once inside the ice cream shop Braxton looked at all of the different possibilities. He was amazed at how many different kinds there were. There seemed to be an ice cream in every flavor and color, and he just didn't know how he was going to choose just a couple of them.
Corbin had also entered the parlor moments behind the two other boys. He like them wanted to see all of the different choices, only he wasn't quite tall enough to see over the cabinet which posed a problem for the little guy. It wasn't long, however, before his dad was there to give him a boost. Brax's dad had walked in a couple of minutes after Corbin to find the little guy standing on his tip toes trying to see in, but not managing to see anything considering the ice cream was set inward.
"A lot of them do," Braxton said to Jason beaming. "I just can't decide which ones I want, but what I do know is that I want them in that cone right there." as he said the last bit he pointed to the waffle cone that had been dipped in chocolate and rolled in special sprinkles.

"I want that cone too." Ryan said to his dad, insinuating the same cone as Braxton, "Unless I go with a fruit flavor that is. Then I think I will just go with a plain waffle cone."
Looking over at the cone that the boys were thinking about getting he wondered if they could have put, possibly, anymore sugar on it. The only way that would be accomplish would be to dunk the entire cone in chocolate and sprinkles, which he wasn't going to give the kids any ideas. "That looks good." Jason said with a smile, "I can't decide what flavor I'm going to get."
