Everything had moved so fast. The fact that she was finally able to see Leto, and be alone with him. The pure irony that he was even here tonight. And above all, the decision Matty had needed to make was made, and she knew what she was doing for the first time it months, this time, she wanted things to be right. As quickly as it had happened, the girl's heart began to beat. She couldn't, and wouldn't make a mistake now, this time, she wasn't going to stuff up. Her feelings were set like a name in the pathway, and it was all coming together. Lost in the crowd were faces she probably knew, and didn't know, and among herself and Leto was no one, just a few small weeds in the ally way they were now standing in. Now the teen was fully aware that this was most likely one of the most dangerous places in Diagon Ally, a dark ally way between two shops, but her head was numb to any of those consequences, for now, she had to act before it was too late.
Her own warm hand was held tightly around Leto's, as Matty led him a little further into the Ally way before finally stopping. She didn't know what was going to happen next, mainly because her actions had been so faint and quick. For a moment, the girl just stood there, facing Leto and standing on the wall behind her. He must've thought she was mad.
[Closed for now, just until plot is over.]

It was true everything had moved so first, Matty had basically just taken his hand and led him off to a rather secluded area and then into another alley and when they finally stopped Leto glanced around before turning back to face Matty, a grin on his face as he looked into the eyes of his friend or could he say crush.
"Ah hi Matty"
He said to her with a slight chuckle, he had no idea why she needed to speak to him so urgently
"Whats with the rush?"
He asked her in a soft voice, having no idea what she wanted him for.

Matty's green eyes looked up to Leto, the spark of the shinning brightly. The small brightly coloured lights could still be seen from the end of the Ally way from where the two stood, cast in dim light from around. The girl noticed his grin, and smiled sweetly in reply, however not yet replying to his question. She was slightly hesitant to answer the boy, after all, how easy was it going to be to confess what she wanted to say? Maybe actions were going to be better than words, and thats when, yes, that love bug took over. Only this time, it was going to make good of the situation. "Leto, I've been thinking allot since, well since break start and well..." the girl said in a slow tone, searching for something else to say. Then in a split second idea, the girl wrapped her arms around Leto's neck, and pressed her lips up against his, leaving them there to linger. Well, this was quite the role reversal.

Leto was taken aback when their conversation led to actions, and the actions surprised him even more....did she just kiss him....yeah she had and her lips still lingered on his own so he did what any sane male would do....kissed her back, his hand leaving her hand and traveled around her waist before he slowly inched her closer as he deepened the kiss ever so slightly.
And the only thought going through his head right now was...
Wow

Matty's head spun more than anything. This situation, it just felt, so natural, and strangely enough, so right. After a few moment, the girl registered, the boy's hand moving to her waist, and felt her body move closer to his. Inching her arms together more as the kiss deepened, Matty finally, truly let herself kiss the boy back, it wasn't timid and held back anymore, she actually felt like she could do this. Several seconds passed as the two were caught in the moment, and eventually, Matty broke the kiss, opening her eyes and looking up to Leto for a moment. Smiling rather softly, the girl planted a small, subtle kiss on the boy's lips again, her eyes still locked in his.
"Thats what I've been thinking about." the girl said in a soft tone to the boy.

"Ah...I don't know what to say....I'm lost for words Matty"
Was all the Leto could blurt out after Matty had spoken, heck they might be young but that was definitely number one on the first kiss ladder for Leto....not that it had much competition but even if it did, it would surely blow them out of the water. He looked her in the eyes once more as they stood there in each others arms just absorbing what had just happened.

"Well I was lost for how I felt before I sat down and thought about it, Leto." the girl replied in a soft tone, feeling no longer awkward but slightly more comfortable with this situation. "I didn't know how I felt about you, and I wanted to sort things out before I made a big mistake with my life, finally, I could make the right choice without regretting anything. I want to be with you Leto, and I want other people to know that as well." she said in that same tone, leaning up to the boy and kissing him on the lips again, softly, before lowering herself back down.

"Well i'm glad you chose me"
He whispered to her before she kissed him softly on the lips again, his thoughts just fading into nothingness at this point in time. It was as if nothing else mattered to the pair of them at this moment....other than each other.
"And at least you didn't rush into making a decision either"
He flashed her a flirtatious smile as he looked deep into her eyes, slowly losing himself in them.

Matty let the boy's words sink in for a few moments, before taking in his smile. She was too, glad that she had chosen Leto, not really over Devon, but just because of fate. The girl had to face it, she had no idea where Devon had been disappearing to, and basically, he deserved better than her if she had already terribly broken his heart once, let alone again. The Hufflepuff just hoped she could salvage a friendship with him one day. Playing with the hair on the back of his head, Matty returned her own smile, before saying "I'm glad I choose you as well. Thats why I needed time to think if 'we' would work." she said, before lowering her hands and taking hold of one of Leto's with her own hand. "How about we go do something? Look around the shops or something?" the girl asked in a mysterious way, flashing the boy a sweet grin.

Nothing, absolutely nothing would wipe the grin off Leto's face tonight, it would just not be possible to ruin the boy's mood and the same seemed to true for Matty as he just continued to smile back as she played with the hair on the rear portion of his head before he answered her question.
"Yeah, maybe we can catch up to Mike and I think I may of seen Maddy earlier....but i'm not sure"
Mike had of course told him all about the different people in Hufflepuff just in case, so Leto slowly took a slightly tighter hold of Matty's hand before they both made their way back out into the main alley.

[This thread has moved on since the last few posts, and now is after an incident in the main thread]
Matty didn't make much effort to push through the people. She just let them walk forward, letting herself slowly weave through them. The Hufflepuff knew Leto was behind her somewhere, after all they had only just left the scene after checking on Maddy and Eryn, and now the two decided to go for a walk. More so to get away from the others, heck, get away from Calister. Merlin, help that girl if she ever heard him say something like that to Devon, after all the boy had defended her despite what had happened. Matty's green eyes were glued to the ground, as she made her way over to a bench that had just been cleared by people. Really, the girl wasn't in the mood for anything like this, and she was starting to doubt things getting better again. Had she just made a big mistake, again?

Leto walked quickly after Matty as she walked ahead of him, ducking and weaving through what seemed to be an endless sea of people, but finally there was a break in the crowd and Leto caught up to Matty before she headed over towards a bench and before she sat down Leto had taken a hold of her hand and kept her standing and slowly twirled her back to him.
"You ok Matty?"
He asked her in a whisper as he reached up to her chin with a single finger and tilted her head back so that he could look her in the eyes, it was then that he knew something was up....she look annoyed, confused and slightly upset as well and Leto had no idea what to do other than be there for her.

Matty wasn't expecting to find Leto right there next to her, but he wasn't unwelcome. As the girl was twirled back to him, the Hufflepuff looked into his icy blue eyes and managed to give him a small smile. She rested her hand in his, as the girl nodded slowly. "I'm alright. I wasn't expecting an attack like that from Calister, but I'm over it, there's nothing I can do. I just hope Devon is okay, he took that pretty rough..." the girl said, looking down again and swallowing. "But I don't want to have to deal with it at the moment, my Dad is still out there somewhere and I have no idea where he is," the girl said, taking a glance out to the crowd, expecting to see her father. That didn't happen, he was still lost out there somewhere, only going to meet the girl before the youngster's curfew was up.
"Should we go look around at some of the stalls or something?" the girl asked, rubbing her thumb softly over Leto's own. She was glad to have him, even if other people weren't too impressed about it.

"I guess.....that the way Devon is taking it, is the way I would of taken it if it had of gone the opposite way to the way things had turned out tonight, so I guess I can say in a way I know how he feels...just not"
He said to her before flashing her a small smile back, her smile just made him so happy it pretty much just lit up the area and just made him feel good about everything. Then she mentioned her father and Leto took a light gulp, okay so seen as though he hadn't known this whole thing was actually official before Matty had made it that way, he was probably in no position to meet Matty's father. But that being said it wasn't as though Leto needed to prepare himself, all he would have to do was be himself.
"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea"
He blushed lightly as he felt Matty's thumb rub softly over his own. It was going to be a great night....he could tell.

Matty nodded again, keeping her green eyes down to the ground. She didn't want to go through this again, and the girl certainly didn't want anyone having to go through with this. As they had left, the girl could only glance into the distance as she had seen Norbrook start to get involved. Boy, did that girl had allot of talking to do with Devon. Matty heard the boy's slight glup, and looked up to him, smirking slightly. "It's okay, he knows nothing about this. I might not even see him till the end of the night when we have to meet at the Leaky Cauldron to go home again." the girl said mysterious, smiling however to lift the tension.
"Alrighty, lets go then." Matty said with a wink, and tugged on Leto's hand as she pulled them away from the bench and into the streaming crowd again. If anything caught either of their eyes, the Hufflepuff planned to take a look at it. She just wanted to get her mind off Devon, and the fact that he was actually back.
