As they walked Leto glanced at various different stalls, none really catching his eye, although that could be a very hard task for him at the moment, being with Matty and all. Anyway they walked slowly through the crowd stopping every now and then to look at various things that caught Matty's eyes but all through it all the talk was small but it wasn't as Leto needed to converse because right now he was enjoying Matty's company immensely.

Matty was just taking in each moment. She hadn't felt like this for a while, and was still treading cautiously around the area's she had only been through with Jynx. Leto was like a new experience with the girl, she didn't want to mess things up, but she didn't want to make a mistake either. The girl was sure she was doing the right thing, but there would still be allot of after-math of what had happened this evening with Devon. She still couldn't quite comprehend the fact that he had stuck up for her that much, not that it wasn't welcome but just, outstanding. Although in her heart, Matty knew that Leto would have done the same thing for her.
A smile still stuck to her face, the Hufflepuff girl was intently loving the company with Leto. She felt comfortable with holding his hand and basically was loving every moment with him. As they ventured around the loads of different vendors, Matty just was soaking in the evening. By now, she had added the cardigan to her attire, brining in more warmth as the night began to cool down more. "Aren't the fairy lights gorgeous..." Matty said quietly as they strolled down the main street, gazing at the different sights as they went along.

Leto smiled even more as he saw the smile plastered on Matty's face, it was sure a pleasant change from the neutral face he had seen far too many times over the last term at Hogwarts and now just being to spend time with her, in such a carefree atmosphere and not having to worry about any other aspects of his life and just being able to be happy and just be himself around her was a pleasure for him.
"That they are, but you know......they aren't nearly as gorgeous as you"
He said winking at her playfully.

Matty took joy in being able to be this comfortable around Leto. She could hold his hand, and not feel any guilt in it. She could kiss him, and not feel like she was being watched with unseen eyes. And she could talked to him, and not be scared that she was crossing the line of friendship. The girl was happy she had brought herself to this decision, and was intensely enjoying this new relationship with Leto. At his comment, the girl shot him a sweet smile, squeezing his hand slightly. Back in the day when she was still sorting out her issues, the girl would have dismissed the idea of that comment going further than skin deep.
"You're just too charming, you know that, Leto Rolen..." Matty said, her green eyes looking into his. But thats when he came, like a silent stalker that had been following the two for the last 5 minutes, desperately trying to figure out if it was indeed his daughter and a boy she was with. Cedric, Matty's father, had known about her issue with the two boy's. Briefly had the man caught a glimpse of Devon when in London, but never before had he seen this Leto boy. Jynx had made a very good impression on Cedric, but that didn't mean any of these boys had to match up to his figure. Eventually however, Mr. Wentworth had caught up to his 14-year-old daughter, slightly sticking out in this crowd full of Magical people.
"Matty!" he said in a rather rushed tone, quickening his pace to catch up with the girl. Dressed in a pair of dress pants and a blue long sleeve shirt with white pin-striped, the man in his early thirties went to his daughters side, a sly smile hidden in his features as he examined the boy. As soon as the girl saw her father, her faced managed to flush pink at the sight of him. "Oh, Dad." she said in a casual tone, despite the butterflies on her face. "This is Leto, remember me telling you about him?" she added quickly, glancing from her father to the Slytherin. "Leto, this is my Dad." Matty managed to force a smile onto her face. Merlin, she hoped her father wasn't about to say anything stupid. "Pleasure to meet you Leto." the man said as Matty stopped her walking, and Cedric faced Leto with an outstretched hand.

Woh....now there was something Leto hadn't been expecting so soon, and from the looks of it neither had Matty, but it wasn't as though he was stressing about it, all he had to do was be honest and most of all be himself. He slowly and reluctantly released Matty's hand and shook Matty's fathers hand.
"Pleasure is all mine Mr Wentworth, are you enjoying your night?"
He said with a smile on his face, meeting Matty's father so early in the relationship was slightly daunting but hey at least he would know whom his daughter was with.

Matty bit her lip slightly, still glancing from her father to Leto. She knew her Dad wasn't one to assume anything, but the fact that the two were together was almost as bright as day-light. As Cedric shook Leto's hand firmly, his smile turned to a grin. "Strong hand-shake, tells allot about a lad." Mr. Wentworth said in a friendly tone, his own green eyes looking over Matty for a second before taking in the boy's question. "Please, call me Cedric." the man replied to the boy. "Indeed I have been. Some witch tried to sell me a packet of 'chocolate frogs' but I wasn't sure whether she was talking about frogs that were made of chocolate, or whether they were chocolate coloured frogs." Cedric admitted to the youngsters, his face frowning slightly. "How about you too? Been having fun?" Matty's father looked from his daughter to the boy. "Yes, plentiful of fun, hasn't it Leto?" Matty stole a glance at the boy, her soft green eyes reduced of most of the anxiousness they had occupied a few moments ago. If anything, the girl was going to avoid saying anything to her father about what had happened with Ty and Devon, she didn't think he needed to know if not at the moment, then never.

Leto flashed Matty a confident smile as he listened to her father, Cedric, talk about the witch that had tried to sell him some chocolate frogs, all the time holding back a small laugh. Slowly he reached across with his now free hand and took Matty's in it loosely.
"As Matty said, we have been having plenty of fun, looking around the stalls and trying different foods and what not, although I wouldn't mind just sitting down somewhere and enjoying a nice drink and a good chat"
He said to Cedric honestly.

Matty caught Leto's smile and returned it with her own. It seemed that the Slytherin and her Dad were getting along nicely, and she hoped her father wasn't putting on some act and trying to impress Matty. She knew that he had been impressed by Jynx, and she wasn't about to have to make any boyfriend of hers live up to that standard set, it just wasn't right. As their hands then met again, the girl knew it would be quite obvious to her dad about how things had been running. Nodding, while agreeing with Leto, Matty gazed at her dad. "I think that sounds nice." the girl stated, which was truthful.
"Well then, how about you two go find a seat somewhere, and I'll find some drinks." Cedric suggested, wanting to get to know this boy more. So far so good... the man thought, he liked Leto, and already he could see the strong bond between his daughter and the boy, not only as a couple, but as good friends as well. He didn't want to ruin their night together for too long, but just to observe the two for a while longer, and then he would toddle off and do his own thing before the Wentworth's were to head home for the night. Looking from her father to Leto, the girl looked at him with questioning eyes. "How about it?" she asked, smiling in an encouraging way.

Leto smiled and nodded to Cedric as he posed the idea back to Leto, it would be a good chance for Leto to get to know him better and vice versa. Matty seemed to seem confident in Leto's ability to get along with her father and so did Leto, he had nothing to hide so he acted as he normally would.
The fun loving guy that Matty could sit down and talk to and convey her feelings to and not worry about being judged by him, that was whom Leto was to Matty, but what was he to Cedric.....Matty's new boyfriend?
"Yeah that sounds like a plan to me, but please...let me pay"
Leto offered as he handed a small bag of coins over to Cedric with a smile.

Matty was really proud of both boys, they didn't seem over the top at all. Well, she didn't assume anything like that form her father or new boyfriend but well... When in Rome, right? As Leto then offered to pay for the drinks, Cedric chuckled and placed the bag of coins back into the boy's free hand. "Not at all lad, the pleasure is mine to treat tonight's drinks. But you are quite the gentlemen for offering." the man grinned at the boy, his green eyes sparkling alike Matty's. "I'll be back in a moment." Matty's father then said, before walking out into the crowd to find some sort of vendor that looked capable of selling drinks.
"Com'on." the girl said with a small tug of her hand on Leto's. As the two sifted through the crowd, they managed to find a small set of tables set amongst a few planted tree's along the Alley. Fairy lights swung over the tree's and the tops of the shops behind where the areas was set, as the Hufflepuff and Slytherin grabbed one of these park tables, and awaited for Cedric to come back. Eventually, the man returned, with three bottles of Butterbeer in his hands. "Butterbeer alright?" he asked, before sitting opposite the two. "Here you are." Cedric set down the three bottles, before un-capping them all and setting one down for each other the youngsters, then himself. "A toast to Matty and Leto." the man said with a teasing grin to his daughter, raising his bottle a bit above the table.

Leto had followed Matty, placing the bag of money in his pocket before they sat down, his eyes catching hers for a moment and that moment was enough to make Leto feel all warm inside, as well as fighting off all the butterflies in his stomach at that moment. He turned to speak to Matty but then her father came back and placed the drinks on the table.
"Thankyou Mr Wen...I mean Cedric"
He said correcting himself quickly as he remembered he had been asked to call Matty's father Cedric. He then picked up and raised his butterbeer to the same level as Cedric's and smiled.
"And of course to good company on a marvelous night"

As they caught eyes for a second, the girl's stomach bubbled. The way he made her feel was unreal compared to anything else. The blond they shared was special, not being able to be compared to anything else on earth. As he then turned to speak to her, Matty was good and ready to listen, quite curious on what he would say, but thats when her Dad came back. That thought would have to wait to later. "Thanks Dad." Matty said, drawing her eyes from Leto and smiling at her dad. Also raising her own glass, Matty gently clinked her bottle onto her fathers, followed by Leto's. "I second both of those, adding to a brilliant life always filled with pleasure." the girl added in her own part.
Taking a sip from her Butterbeer, before placing it back down on the table. It was now the question of what they were to talk about.

Leto knocked back a swig of his butterbeer after clinking it softly against Matty's and Cedric's before placing it back down on the table and allowed one on his hands to slide and entwine into Matty's before posing a question to Cedric.
"So Cedric, what do you actually do for a living?"
He asked giving Cedric his attention and a smile came upon his lips as he ran his thumb against the back of Matty's hand.

Matty felt secure once she was holding hands with Leto again, comfortable with the fact. As her father also took a swig of his Butterbeer, knowing what to expect since Matty having bring him to this taste before, placed his own bottle on the table. "I'm the owner and manager of a Restaurant in Old London. But I also do a bit of cooking within my work." Cedric replied confidently. Keeping the conversation rolling, the man then added "When you're in town next be sure to swing by for a meal, I'd be happy to put everything on the house." a grin taking over his smile. "So Leto, do you have any brothers or sisters, or is ti just yourself?" Matty's father questioned, running a hand through his hair.

Leto nodded as he acknowledged Cedric's offer, it would be one that Leto was sure he would have to take up with Matty at some stage. His thumb continued to stroke the back of Matty's hand softly as he took another drink before responding to Cedric.
"Well up until last year I would of responded to that question as a just myself answer, but then I found out....from my grandmother that I have an older brother, we were split at a young age when our parents died but for some reason I have always had some sort of a connection with him......as does Matty seen as though she is basically like a little sister to him.....but I guess that comes from them being in the same house at Hogwarts for years"
He said flashing Matty a playful smile as he let Cedric absorb what was just said.
