Matty simply smirked at the younger student. What were you two doing? Smooching, I guess. "You wish my dear, you wish." she teased rather lamely, shaking her head slightly at the stage. It was then that Mike walked past, shotting his own comment at the girl. What's this I hear about you smooching with my brother? Oh that was it, Older Rolen was dead. Matty grinned, and looked at Mike as he took a seat next to herself, on the opposite to where Maddy was now seated. "Meanie." the girl whined, punching Mike in the arm. Not too hard, but not rather soft either. Matty held back her attack, and paused for a second. "So what did you 'n' Leto get up to for the rest of the break?" the fourth year questioned, turning her green eyes to Mike.

As Alexander was in front of Seanna, his mind was elsewhere. He hadn't expected the kiss on the cheek and was still a bit flushed over the surprise. He'd get her back somehow, surprising him like that. Alexander laughed to himself, then realizing that he probably deserved it with surprising her so much just by being at Hogwarts. Damn....that means we're even. As Seanna stopped talking, Alexander noticed that he hadn't listened to a word she had said. Shock crossed his face just as she turned to look at something at the Huffle table. Following her gaze, Alexander looked at the table and.....was that Krissy? The dark haired Head Girl sat right across from Matty, and was impeccably clean. Not a speck of even dust seemed to grace the girl's clothing, skin, hair, or demeanor. It was as if her aura had been cleaned as well, and Alexander almost choked forgetting to breath in his astonishment. It wasn't as if he never thought of her as clean, on the contrary, he was sure she did, but that evening it seemed she had spruced herself up for something special. At least, more special than a return feast. Alexander gulped hard, almost glad when Seanna spoke up once more. Another flush of color came to his face. What was he so worried about? Krissy and him were just friends. Yes, she looked really great to Alexander, but as a friend he shouldn't be anything but able to talk with her. No matter how she looked. "Y...yea, I'm al...alright," Alexander cleared his throat. "Why wouldn't I...." he trailed off a bit. Was Seanna even listening? Or maybe she was, and she knew that he was thinking unprofessional thoughts of his classmates. Wait....was he even doing that? "Uh....are you ok?" he asked her looked behind him as if someone was about to jump him. Following Alexander's gaze back over to Krissy, she frowned at her best friend again. Something was up with her, her friend was never that clean and she never looked that reserved. Seanna didn't realize to what extent Krissy's injuries had been after the game and she winced when she saw how slow her best friend was walking, thinking that her friend looked like she was in a lot of pain. Frowning still, her attention came back to Alexander, noticing his color turn pink again. Making a mental note, she reminded herself to ask Krissy about Alexander later on as well. Seanna would have asked Alexander right then and there about it, but she really didn't think the feast was the right time or place and her thought process wasn't really working with that sign interrupting it every so often with it's sparkle colors and all. "I don't know anymore, but I think I'll be okay... " Seanna trailed off, catching a glimpse of Lianna over by Drew and noticing her face was turning a slight shade of pink as well. "It's good too see your okay, though" Seanna told him, somewhat distractedly. The sixth year wasn't normally this distracted, but with that sign and everything that was happening, she really couldn't think properly. "Hey, Alexander?" Seanna began, trying to put a smile on her face through the frown that was still there. "I'll talk to you later okay? I really should go and see how Lianna is doing and all" Nodding her blond head over towards her other favorite younger year. "I'll see you later, okay?" Seanna told him one last time, flashing him another smile and walking away from him through the crowd, trying not to take notice of that sign. "Lianna!" Seanna exclaimed, grinning widely as she came up to her and a bunch of Ravenclaws. The girl threw them a smile as well and returned her brown eyes back to the pale-pinkish colored girl. Seanna threw her arms around her favorite younger year huffle and gave her a quick hug. "How have you been?" The sixth year asked, quickly tossing a strand of blond hair back across her shoulders. One day, she would find a cure for turning her hair back to the brown she missed so much.

Felicity loved how she'd been sitting next to Corey since the second page (though that was a mistake as he hadn't actually taken a seat yet so we'll go with her sitting a few seats down) and to no ones acknowledgment, but she didn't let that get her down. Rather, she was too interested in looking around for Celina or Drew, either one really worked for her as she wouldn't have minded seeing either. Though, she wanted to see Celina more, to tell her as much as she could about what'd happened since New Years Eve. True, she'd written the girl about the newest information, but that wasn't even enough to cover everything that went on, enough to tell her what was thought. Really, she'd only said there'd been newer information discovered, brought into the light, and since that last letter, she only wrote one other to tell her about a few other things, but nothing about the case.
Not really paying attention to the comotion by the door, as she was much too interested in searching the Ravenclaw table for either of them, though she had spotted Lucas and thought maybe she should say hello, but that thought was shot when she saw Deryn approaching him, now was not the time. Then, the arrival of a few Gryffindors caught her attention, but she kept to herself. Just where were the two? Even just one would suffice.

Shari, dazzedly, walked into the Great Hall. Her winter holiday had been something less than relaxing. In fact, she felt even more stressed than she had before she left the school. Her journeys had taken her down Knockturn Alley, for starts, where she had met a rather odd character in the dark and vacant shop. Then Shane had told her about the baby! Brighid was going to have a baby. Somehow he didn't sound too excited about it, and neither did Brighid when she had finally met Shari. In fact, having Shari with them had been more like a burden, it seemed, than anything charitable. Shari let her mind shift back to the present scene. There were a handful of students in the Hall. Some she believed she recognized some of these students...the blonde headed Gryffindor looked vaguely familiar, there were about three Hufflepuffs, none of whom she knew. Another Gryffindor boy she spotted but did not really know him either. She sighed. I need to make friends with people, she thought. She'd tried, only to be shot down a number of times. So far her only success was that Slytherin Second Year whom she had met at the Masquerade so many months before. Shari walked a might further into the hall and contemplated moving to her house table. As far as she could tell, she was among the meager helping of Ravenclaws in the hall, and for now, that seemed an embracing comfort. She sat.

Second feast for the first year and Hannah had to dawdle behind. The young girl had checked her reflection in the mirror in the girls dorm and she thought she'd better stop making sure there was nothing on it if she wanted to get some food. Wrinkle free, muddy free, hair done up in two plaits that were going down either side of her cheek, she felt rather special and more grown up attending this feast. Hannah was twelve now and she had to decided that it was time to act a little more grown up than what she had been acting while she had been eleven.
Walking up to the great hall's doors, she stopped and searched the crowd, trying to find Jeremy in it. Hannah hadn't seen him since that time he had attended her special birthday at the Yule and she had wanted to catch up with him to see how he was doing. The only problem was, she was short, hadn't grown at all over the break and she couldn't really see through the crowd of people that were standing there. So the next best thing she could think off, was that she got down on all fours and started to crawl through the heap of people, forgetting that yes, she was twelve and probably shouldn't be crawling along the great hall's floor like she was, but she was being careful not to get her hands trampled on by other people's feet.
Probably not one of her smartest ideas, but the crawling got her to where she wanted to go and that was to where a pair of rather, large big feet were and Hannah knew that had to be Drew, or what she liked to call him and it still held a little bit of truth it, was 'big meanie' and if Drew was there, she was sure that Jeremy would be there somewhere, or she was almost sure that he would be there somewhere. Standing up in the crowd of Ravenclaws, Hannah looked up and saw that it was actually Drew and she gave him a quick smile, before noticing Hiro and giving him a bigger smile, walking over to him and throwing her arms around his waist in a hug. "Hiro!" Hannah exclaimed in excitement, having not seen her other Prefect for a long while.
Hannah let go of Hiro and finally turned around, finally spotting Jeremy. Standing back just a bit, Hannah gave Jeremy a small smile, but she opted not to hug him just yet. Especially considering that it looked like Drew was fiddling with his tie and she didn't want to interrupt them. "Hi Jeremy" Hannah said, more softly than what she had announced Hiro's name. If Drew hadn't been there, she probably would have yelled Jeremy's name out like she had done Hiro's and even given him a hug, but with Drew there, she just didn't know quite how to act around him.

If one little Hufflepuff blocking the doorway hadn't gotten any attention, a whole mob of mostly Ravenclaws seemed to get little more. While most people seemed to navigate through as if they were ghosts, one rude girl barged throughy forcefully and Drew instinctively grabbed onto smaller people to keep them from getting trampled.
"Happy new year to you!" Drew called after her brightly, if not sarcasticly and he looked back at the banner above them. "It says Welcome Back Hogwarts in bold letters and it's actually a bit obnoxious looking. I'm guessing it's the closest we get to seeing Ticloon at all... It'll be kind of weird not having Raynor here though, y'know?"

Another feast, another chance for Vanessa to stab herself in the eye with a fork. If it wasn't obvious, Nessa didn't like the big feasts. She wasn't sure why, it just wasn't her favourite thing to attend. Side-stepping the mob in the doorway, Vanessa weaved around the little ones and stood just inside the door, looking around at who was there so far. Not really anyone she wanted to see. Walking reluctantly toward the ominous Hufflepuff table, Vanessa took a seat a little farther away from those who were already there and sat with her hands on the table, her hands fidgeting and her head down.

It was way to crowded where she stood, and looking back at Vanessa, Celina weakly smiled and nodded. "Yea, every thing's fine. Just a bit of a back up is all." Celina looked back to Drew and saw he was preoccupied a bit but was somewhat glad. She wanted just to get to the table and sit herself down, somewhere towards the front end of the table where either side of her was free and she could clearly see the professors. However, she wanted to stay clear from that 'welcome back' sign. It was drawing looks of wonder, but not in a good way from what Celina could see. Not to mention, it freaked her out a little.
Turning back to Vanessa, Celina smiled. "Well, I'm going to sit. I'll speak to you after the feast, ok?" Not even waiting for a response from her, she waved and started to head off past the mound of people at the door. It was too much, and after her winter holidays...she just wanted to relax a bit.
Finding a seat, somewhere near the front of the table, Celina sat noticing that there was no one sitting in front of her, and no one sitting on the sides of her. Not yet any ways.

Alexander smiled and nodded at Seanna. She seemed distracted, and when he turned around back toward the doorway, he saw one of the younger huffles and smiled. He had to admit, his house had some of the most adorable kids in it. He smiled and tipped his head at his Prefect friend again. "Of course, Seanna. Anytime. Come find me after the feast or something and we'll hang out for a bit," he smiled curtly and let her do her thing.
Walking over to the table, still smiling, he nodded at Matty. "Hello, Matty...." as he looked toward Krissy and stalled a bit. Wow... his thoughts trailed off a bit on how great she truly looked. Not to mention, if he looked at her just right, he caught brief glimpses of her gorgeous eyes. Snapping back into reality, he tried to force the pink that came away, and smiled genuinly. "Krissy.." he said, nodding his head and taking the seat next to her across from Maddy.
Looking back at Maddy, Alexander smiled and nodded his head. "And hello to you, too," he said just so that she didn't think he was ignoring her.

"More than likely. I know what you mean, it makes me wonder what's going to happen to this place with eve-" Hiro was interrupted by quite the surprising excited call of his name.
It wasn't very often that someone could sneak up on Hiro. The general noise of the crowd helped mask her approach as well as him not listening for someone crawling on the ground. It took him a moment to realize who it was that was hugging him though he remembered quickly.
"Hannah, seems you made the train this time." Hiro said referring to their first meeting and how the year could have started really bad. "How was your break?"

It was Jax turn to enter the Great Hall, but as she saw a back up at the door, and not a particular friend of hers she wanted to see, she leaned against the wall near the Great Hall, right next to a suit of armor. Jax looked up at the armor and winked a bit at it giggling. Jax couldn't wait for this term to begin. Not to mention, with new hopes of finding someone like her, and new knowledge that she wasn't alone, she now felt more confident than ever being at Hogwarts. It had all happened so quickly at Diagon Alley; or was it only then it happened? Jax remembered the fateful broom ride and sunset that had brought her and Snake together and almost swooned a bit. Looking around to see if anyone saw her acting strange, she blushed profoundly and cleared her throat to herself. She was getting ahead of herself and she knew it, but Jax's thirteen year old mind couldn't help but think of all the possiblities and hope for the best one to come true.
Understanding...
Her bangs long, and hair spiked for the evening, blue eyes glistening, she was ready for the feast, and the new half of the year. Around her neck, the choker that Snake had bougten her as a gift from the Yule Festival worn proudly. What would happen in the next few months, Jax didn't know. But she was ready for anything. She felt as though nothing could stop her or get in her way. She couldn't wait to see Professor Hectis. She had been so understanding...would she care to know about Snake? Would she listen? Shoving her hands in her pant pockets, she looked around wondering where the Gryffindor could be.
Now all there was left was making an appearance. That wouldn't happen, however, until her friend came by. She wanted to say hi, and see how she was doing. The butterflies fluttered a bit in her stomach at the anticipation of seeing Snake again, but Jax wasn't paying attention. Or at least she wasn't trying to. And in Jax's mind, she couldn't see anything going wrong. She smiled ear to ear. Tonight was the beginning of many good memories, she just knew it.

Art gave Mick a soft, knock-it-off look but he let it go in a way. He was to damned content, nothing bothering him everything was going fine. Ironically at the same time Fyona was touching her mirror he was gently holding onto his. The intricately etched ebony frame with emeralds set in it. It was nice knowing he had a way to talk to Fyona at anytime. The man at the store assured him that nobody but the person the mirror was owned by could see the other person... but he would rather not have to figure out the hard way. No Diablo to torment him no nothing. It was nice. "I wish I knew what was going on... most of the staff is gone...." He muttered quietly more to himself, he knew not about Raynor's incarceration nor anything of anyone really. All he knew was that DADA was canceled and he wasn't happy about it.

With her legs free to carry her away the third year quickly made her destination the Hufflepuff table but she only managed to make it approximately three steps before Seanna appeared. Normally given any other set of previously established circumstances she would’ve been grateful to see the girl, however at the present moment all she wanted to do was sit down, clear her head and get on with the feast and the rest of term. It seemed like a simple request to ask, but it was probably without a doubt going to be one that was difficult to deliver any time quick.
"Lianna! How have you been?"
She had little time to react as coupled with the words came the brief but warm and enveloping hug of Seanna’s arms. It wasn’t that the embrace wasn’t welcome, she just really wanted to sit down. Here she was not even a full twenty-four hours back from winter vacation and she’d already made a rather decent interpretation of someone who’d had their memory altered. She wasn’t sure who had rightfully noticed her staring off into the space that was la-la land – in fact she wasn’t even sure if Drew had noticed himself but she knew (or was pretty sure she did) and that was all it took.
“Can we go to the table and talk? I don’t think I can stand still another minute!” The young teen claimed as her eyes searched for a place at the table for the both of them. It was a bad night, and when the night started bad it could only get worse…
Hopefully it would wait until it was time for nightmares.

Snake wandered down to the hall a little bit later than the rest and was near the back of the crowd when she finally got near the door. She was glad to be away from home but also a little down about having to be back at Hogwarts, however much she was looking forward to the feast. She had spoken to a few people she knew so far but had spilt away from them as soon as they had found their other friends. She preferred to be alone than surrounded by people who knew other people who knew other people until she knew everybody by connection and was expected to talk to them all (except for the Slytehrin). She preferred a small group of close friends but she was not thinking about that at the moment.
Currently all of her thoughts were on the feast, that was until...

Jax saw as Snake entered her sights. Did she walk up to her? Did she excitedly call out her friend's name like she wanted to? Now she was unsure of what to do. The last time they had seen each other, it had been in Diagon Alley unvieling secrets to each other that they kept mostly to themselves. Snake had been and still was the second and only person to know for sure about Jax's....issue. Jax looked toward the ground, wondering now what was to be done. She could also sneak into the Great Hall and just go sit down. That would have been fine, too, but the she didn't want Snake to think she was avoiding her. She sighed.
Looking back up she smiled a cocky little grin and walked up to her friend. Even if nothing ever came of what knowledge she was graced with over break, at least she still had a friend. "Hey, how's it going?" she greated Snake, not really knowing what else to say.
