closed -- Em :]
Four Months. It had been exactly four months, to this day, that Matty and Emeric had decided to take the leap, and dive into a relationship together. And Merlin, neither of them had realized how well things would pan out. The day that things fell into place, Matty couple honestly say she didn't know what the future would hold. Whether they would last a week, or a month, she hadn't known. Whether they would be close, or keep their distance, she couldn't have predicted back then. But never in her mind, had the teenager expected things to go so well. She had hoped for the best... but these days, it seemed like things were better than that. Resisting the urge to sit next to him in all classes, or send small knowing smiles his way between lessons wasn't an issue anymore. Spending time together outside of class was being managed well enough, now that their hectic life had died down a little bit. So, yes, Matty was very happy that exactly four months ago, they had decided to give into temptation.
Finding time outside of was not as much of an issue these days, but then again, it wasn't as easy as rocking up to the Slytherin Common Room, and asking to see Emeric. The time had to be considered, when people wouldn't really suspect their absences. The days also had to be taken into thought, for both teenagers had different schedules. It had been about a week since the Hufflepuff girl had seen the Slytherin boy, and so come Friday, she was able to slip him a note in one of their classes together.
Come 5:20pm Matty had prepared everything. She planned on keeping her evening with Em a surprise, until she actually lead him deeper into the forest, where what she had planned was set out. The girl looked at her work, before quickly walking out of the forest, to wards the groundskeepers hut. Though winter had just passed, the air was still chilly, and frost was evident in the colder parts of the evening. Matty wore a pair of red flats, navy skinny jeans, a red v-neck 3/4 sleeve shirt, a gray trench coat and a checkered neck scarf. As she walked, the girl tucked her hands into the pockets of her coat, feeling the cool air bite her cheeks, making them appear rose. The girl stopped, a few meters into the forest that was situated behind the hut. She couldn't see any light from within, and the walls of the hut were dark against the sky, which was a picture perfect sunset. Chalk lines of orange and red smeared across the sky, and Matty couldn't help but smile to herself, as she waited for Em to show up.

Four months could pass by in an agonizingly slow manner, or it could pass by in quick and fast paced way. In four months things could be the same, or everything could change.
The past four months for Emeric had been the best he had ever experienced within memory. He could hardly believe his good luck with Matty, the fact that they had lasted this long was a miracle to him. He was in awe of the Hufflepuff girl who was stumbled into his world this past summer with no specific destination or course of action in mind. He found it unfathomable that someone like her could really like someone like him. Maybe even love. It was a strong word, one that he thought about a lot lately. As much as he hated to admit it even to himself, Matty was turning him into one of those guys that he always made fun of for doting on their girlfriends. And the worst part was, the Hufflepuff girl probably didn't know it, either.
The fact that they kept all aspects about their relationship under wraps was still a big issue, as Em was almost positive that someone would find out if they were more open about it. Cromwell, whom he still feared another reappearance of, or even his father, who also had connections with the school. As much as he didn't want to care about what those people thought of his relationship with Matty, he did. He wished he were braver in that sense, to face the consequences of even caring for the half blooded girl he was so fond of. For now, though, he didn't see the problem in keeping things quiet. It was easier, and raised less questions for him, therefor causing less trouble for him as well.
The note from Matty on that particular Friday was a nice surprise. They were finding more time to spend with one another outside of class these days, but he got the feeling that this event would be a bit more elaborate than their last few meetings. After lessons, Em had changed his clothes out of his standard school uniform and into a more casual attire. He wore a pair of slightly faded jeans, and a white long sleeved t-shirt underneath a plain light gray t-shirt. It was a bit chilly, so Em also wore a navy blue zip up hoodie. Before leaving the common room, the Slytherin boy checked his appearance several times, making sure his hair was combed and looking nice, and taking care to notice that his clothes were neat and put together well. He didn't really have time to pick out a gift for Matty, so he brought along a bag of sherbert lemons, a candy he knew to be the girl's favorite. Once he was satisfied that he smelled nice, looked nice, and was feeling nice enough, Em made his way to the grounds with five minutes to spare.
He hadn't been sure if he should eat an early dinner or not, so he had skipped out on the meal, thinking that if he got hungry he could always find something in the kitchens later. He got closer to the old groundskeeper's hut but couldn't spot Matty. Looking around, though, he guessed she was around somewhere.

Matty had grown accustom to seeing Em in his uniform, or in slightly more dressy clothes than the average teenager, so she could honestly be slightly surprised when she saw him trekking to wards her, dressed in jeans and a hoodie. The Hufflepuff knew that in the time that the two were together, Emeric had changed allot on her behalf. Not so drastically socially, but in the company of the girl. Just little things, really. Like the way he didn't hesitate when holding her hand, or the way that he smiled more frequently than smirking. Or their bantering and teasing was purely for fun these days. It all just added to the knowledge that Matty knew she understood him these days, like she had hoped for so many months ago.
The reason they had lasted so long, or so Matty thought, was because they were willing to take a chance. If anyone else had known, they may have thought that they clashed or contrasted each other. Though this could be considered true, it was enough to fuel the fact that the youth were able to put aside their different backgrounds, and relate what they had, rather than what they didn't have in common. This was one of the reasons that the girl really liked, even loved Emeric. He was so different to her, that she found his personality worth getting to know. He was well worth the effort, once you got past his rough exterior.
And so as Matty noticed Emeric Troy walking to wards her, she gave herself a few moments to make sure it was really him. Once confirmed, the Hufflepuff stepped aside from behind the tree, and walked the rest of the distance out of the forest. "Lovely evening, isn't it?" The teenager said, once she neared the boy, stopping as she reached him. A smile graced her features, as Matty looked up slightly at her boyfriend, the slight feeling of butterflies rising in her tummy. Another thing that was different about Em; he gave made her happy, in a way that few, if any had before.

Em didn't know that he was feeling nervous until he turned slightly and saw Matty walking towards him. It had been a week since they had had time to talk, let alone hang out, and the mere sight of her sent his lips pulling up into a smile, his abdomen doing flips and his legs moving him forward to meet her. He felt giddy to be hanging out with her once again, but the nervousness remained. He was unsure why, exactly, because he didn't have anything to really be anxious about. It was possibly just the idea of being close to her and being able to talk to her, but he decided that it was a good thing for him to still feel that way, happy, giddy, excited and a little nervous about just being around her.
His eyes slowly took in her outfit, as well as her overall ' look ' as he walked towards her. He nodded his head lightly at her comment, saying, " Indeed. " He paused, his arms wrapping around the girl in a hug as he pulled her in closer to his own body. Why a hug, he didn't know, but he wanted her close to him for a second or two. Not moving his arms, Em merely leaned his head back slightly to talk to her. " I'm supposed to be meeting my girlfriend here.. Have you seen her? " His eyes held a playful glint as he searched the area, a teasing smile on his face.
" Oh, wait.. I think I see her... " He stopped looking around and let his eyes rest back onto the Hufflepuff girl who was still in his arms. " Ah, here we are.. " He said, kissing the tip of the girl's nose. He wasn't sure if she would think he was stupid for messing around and joking like he was, but he still felt his nerves acting up a little bit, and his excitement was hard to contain to just himself.

As Emeric took her into his arms, Matty couldn't help but feel a wave of comfort wash over her. It felt good to be able to just stand there, his body close to hers, embraced in each others arms. She felt safe, despite the fact that what they were doing could be so risky, so sneaky. Most of the time Matty tried to ignore the consequences of being found out, for she didn't really know what they may be, but more so for reasons such as being content with what she had with Em. They were coping in their relationship, so there wasn't much reason to fret. And so, the girl let her arms wrap around his back, feeling the warms of his chest. While they were standing so close, Matty suspected that she could even feel his heart beating, ever so slightly, as it rested above her own.
"I'm supposed to be meeting my girlfriend here.. Have you seen her?"
The teenager watched with amused eyes, and a playful smile as he looked around, supposedly searching for his girlfriend. The fact that Em was a big dork at times made Matty enjoy his company all the more. Once he stopped looking around, Matty shook her head every so slightly at his comments, however her grin letting him know that she didn't mind his teasing ways. "Very funny, Em." she said in a joking tone, feeling the effect of his kiss make her nose tingle slightly. "Good thing you were able to find her, I wouldn't want to think you're settling for any old girl." Matty teased, giving him a small squeeze through her hug. She slowly let her head tip up to wards his, placing a brief peck on his lips, only to tease him for the time being.

The weather wasn't too cold, but Em could feel the warmth of Matty's body against his and felt it warm him up slightly as he stood there with her. He always liked spending time with her, as it gave him a reason to not worry about the things he normally did worry about. When he was with her, he usually was able to forget about his father and the consequences Em would have to face if the man really knew what his eldest son was up to. He was easily able to forget his worries about school, and home, because when he was with the Hufflepuff girl, she was really all he thought about. Even when he wasn't with her, she was what he mostly thought about.
He let a cheeky grin spread across his lips. " I don't settle. I only have the best. " As he said this, a small smirk tugged lightly at his features. He said it in jest, but there was some truth as well. He wanted Matty to know that he hadn't settled at all. He accepted the small kiss with a light smile, pulling her slightly closer and lifting her a couple inches off the ground with a light laugh. " So.. " He said, placing her back on the ground with a devilish smile, he whispered his words to her. " When do I get my surprise? "
He was impatient by nature, and was sure that whatever Matty had in store would be either good or fun. Possibly, more than likely, both.

[haha, i didn't even see your post XD]
The teenager had finally let the fact that she was going to potentially love Emeric sink into her mind. One of the last times they had spent together, the fact had risen in conversation, where both teenager had expressed that they thought they loved each other. Alike Em, Matty had thought about it is since then. No one could put an age limit on love, so who was to say that what they felt for each other wasn't considered to be love? She knew that there were various things that she loved about Emeric, but that was different to loving him. By now, however, the youth had begun to accept that in due time, she would find herself in love with him. He probably didn't know it... but Matty had fallen faster and deeper for Em than anyone else. The feeling was only going to grow, and so it was inevitable that she was going to love him. Whether that feeling was concreted in a few hours, or a few days, or a few months, she couldn't be sure.
His jesting comment about only getting the best hit the girl in two different ways. She understood that he had continued with their joking, but there was also sincere words in the statement, which caused her to grin at him. "Well, at least we have the same standards." she replied, also in a way that he would be able to see the tease in her tone, but the honest compliment in her words. When Emeric lifted her off the ground, Matty automatically gripped him a little tighter, letting out a laugh along with him. Once she was settled back on the ground, Matty listened as his words hit her ears, sending a smirk onto her face.
"What surprise?" she questioned him, seemingly oblivious to what he was getting at. She looked up and down his features for a moment. "Oh, you mean that surprise. Well, you're looking at it." she teased, biting on her lower lip to hold back the grin that was tempting to break through her smirk. She knew exactly what he was talking about, but Matty wasn't going to let him see what she had up her sleeve. Not just yet, anyway.

[thanks buddy xD]
Em grinned, feeling happy to just be there with her, even if it was getting close to night time and they were on the somewhat chilly grounds. He appreciated the fact that she had organized this for them, whatever it was she had planned. It was small little things like this that made Em really amazed at Matty. She was thoughtful, and sweet, caring and compassionate. She was everything that, six months ago, Em couldn't ever imagine being. But he had changed along with Matty, changing for himself and for her. He had wanted to change, which had been the biggest step for him. It was hard to rearrange your thoughts when you've been taught the same thing for years and years, but he attempted.
Although he was always nervous about being caught, he no longer heard his father's voice scolding him in the back of his mind when he was with Matty. It was a big step, to be able to ignore the man's ever present berating and chastisement of Emeric's even being around Matty. He hated to think how the man would be if he actually knew. Luckily, though, he didn't for now. Emeric looked back down to Matty, his entire body filling with warmth, his stomach still flipping around. " Well that is good to hear, love. " He said with another small laugh. He was almost certain that, as with his comment, there was still some truth behind the teasing banter.
Em put on a pouting face at what she said next, frowning slightly. " Matttyyy.... " He whined at her innocent and oblivious tone. ' Oh, you mean that surprise. Well, you're looking at it. ' Well... he couldn't argue with that. He grinned down at her, finding her smirk both amusing and cute. " I'm pleasantly surprised, then. " He chuckled slightly as he leaned down towards the girl, placing a small light kiss on her lips.

[you're welcome, bffl =P XD]
Matts loved the things that were simple about Em. The small things. Like how his grin seemed to light up his features and eyes best, or how when he held her hand, it felt like he held part of her world. The way that when they were together, it was like a whole new type of magic settled upon them, an untouched magic that could not be disturbed by anyone but themselves. The fact that with each growing minute with him, Matty was letting herself weave and twine a web of his presence into her life. Alright... so maybe they weren't that simple, but the concepts were simple enough. He was special to her, and no amount of peer judgment or anxiety could rid that feeling from the girl. The bracelet and necklace that both hung comfortably on her neck and wrist were a simple reminder of this feeling, and Matty felt it constantly, conscious throughout every day.
The girl grinned up at Em as he again, agreed with her, this time on terms of their 'standards'. She didn't really care if other people didn't think he would be perfect boyfriend material, because frankly, he didn't have to be perfect for Matty to like him. To her, the Slytherin was the great just the way he was. Relationships had to take the downfalls, as well as the perks, and Matty simply accepted it this way. "Good to know." she mumbled with an amused tone, her eyes gazing up at Emeric's, the truth in her words spilling out of them, rather than her actual mouth.
At his pout and his whine, the Hufflepuff couldn't help but giggle softly. Her eyes broke his gaze for a moment, as she looked up to wards the sky, only to dart back down when he spoke again. "I'm pleasantly surprised, then." Finally, the smirk was broken with her natural grin, and Matty let herself lean into the kiss slightly. Ever since their first day together, the teenager had enjoying the kisses that the two shared. The girl's lips felt warm and soft against Em's own, as she felt their noses brush briefly. After a moment or two, the teen pulled away, letting her left hand softly trace up and down Emeric's side. "I guess I might have another surprise floating around somewhere in there." Matty said finally, nudging her head back to wards the forest.
"Shall we?"

Em grinned at Matty, realizing that one thing he really loved about the girl physically was her height. She stood around four inches or about ten centimeters shorter than him, the perfect height difference in his mind. She wasn't too short, and wasn't too tall either. He didn't know why, out of all the other things about Matty's physical appearance he could have liked the most, that he chose her height. He smiled at her, knowing how she fit perfectly in his arms. He didn't particularly care if they just stood there all night, as long as he got to hold her close to him. He knew Matty had other things in mind, her little note from that afternoon had told him that much. He wondered what the girl held up her sleeve for him and what it would involve them doing.
Brown eyes met green ones and he nodded slightly, holding her gaze for a moment or so before glancing just over her shoulder and into the forest, where she had indicated they were to be heading. He wasn't necessarily afraid of going into the Forbidden Forest, but nonetheless he unwrapped one of his arms from around Matty and made sure his wand was in his back pocket. Once he was reassured that it was and he would be ready for anything that came their way, he agreed verbally. " Indeed, we shall. You're not going to take me in there and kidnap me, are you? " He asked, his voice and facial expression remaining serious while he tried to hide the laughter that held in his eyes.
" Do I get any hints? " He asked, turning so he was standing next to Matty instead of in front of her, his one arm wrapping around the girl's shoulders while his free hand slid into his pocket. As they started off, he looked around every so often, wondering why she had chosen the forest for them to hang out, or do whatever it was she had planned. It was Matty, though, so he trusted she knew what she was doing.

Now that Em had unwrapped his arms from around her, Matty let her closest arm to him slide around his back comfortably for both of them. Now that they were now longer in each others arms, the teenager could feel the heat that the boy's body had supplied her with leaving, and although it didn't make her cold, the temperature different was noticeable. She didn't mind so much though, just knowing that he was close to her reassured Matty that everything was fine. Not that anything wouldn't be fine, but, you know, she just felt comfortable around him.
"Indeed, we shall. You're not going to take me in there and kidnap me, are you?"
The teenager seemed to ponder on this for a moment, before sighing. "Darn it, Em. Why do you have to be so sneaky all the time? I told you this was going to be a surprise, and now you've just blown my entire plan." she playfully scolded him, jesting rolling through her words, and in her eyes. This struck the memory of when the two first met in London, and when walking through a Muggle Alley, Matty had suggested that she planned to rob and dispose of Emeric. The old memory was now a rather fond one, for that had been the closest the girl had come to mucking around with the boy as they did these days. Even if back then they hadn't know what to consider, or make of each other.
As they started to walk into the forest, Matty let her eyes gaze around absently. She was rather familiar with the forest, having been in the area quite allot. She had never been scared of the forest, nor really of what was hidden within. In all her years at Hogwarts, Matty had never come across anything that put her in harms way. Nothing that she knew of, anyway. At his question, the girl's gaze focused on Em, a mysterious smile on her lips. "Hm, alright." she stated, letting the moments trickle past as she thought of something not too obvious, but something to get him mind rolling as they walked to her destination. "You won't believe we're in a sinister forest once we arrive." she finally said, guiding their way along a roughly beaten track through the forest.

He walked comfortably next to Matty, his hand giving her shoulder a small squeeze in an effort to pull her a little closer. To Em it was all about being close, whether it was them having a conversation of a personal nature or if they were physically being close, it was what he thought about and reflected upon after his times spent with the fifth year girl. He had never been as close to a person as he was with Matty, and it was unfamiliar ground for him. The physical things came naturally, he knew just when to kiss her and how, but it was a completely different matter when it came to the not so physical things like talking. It took a lot for someone to break down Em's wall he put up, and slowly but surely, that was what Matty was doing.
Whether or not she was doing it subconsciously or not, he wasn't sure, but it was slightly alarming to him. The fact that he was letting her, and that he even wanted her to really know him, it was a scary idea.
He embraced their closeness, though, and hoped they would remain the same way for a long time to come. Her light, teasing scolds were met from Emeric by a light, cheeky grin as he looked over to the Hufflepuff girl. " I am rather sneaky, aren't I... but really... if you were going to kidnap me, you should have told me. I would have brought warmer clothes. " He looked down to his own attire, not normally what he would wear even for hanging out with someone. It was casual, and when he had first asked his mother to send him these types of clothes, the woman had been shocked. She agreed though, and sent him new clothing items, jeans, plain t-shirts, graphic t's, and random clothes that Em hadn't formerly owned. Making heads or tails of the new items at first had been strange, but he got used to it.
" Well... will it be fun? What will we do? Will there be food? " A stream of questions flowed from the Slytherins mouth, questions he hadn't been aware that he had wanted to ask. The food would be an important issue.

Matty allowed herself to walk closer to Em when he made the movement to make her do so. Well, as close to the boy as it would allow them to be without tripping over each others feet. She liked being able to be affectionate without being uncomfortable with him. Even though he may not have looked it at first, or to other people, but Matty knew that deep down, he was a caring person. Well, to wards her, anyway. The teenager was beginning to tap into the sensitive side of the boy, as corny and cheesy as it sounded, but it was true. She was conscious of the fact that he didn't let allot of people see the side of him that she had seen, and so Matty didn't take it for granted. Inside, he really was caring, and genuine, and affectionate and a really great guy, and the girl knew this was only the beginning, really. But, the extent of how much she had really changed Em, Matty wasn't quite aware of, this was a whole different issue.
As the younger boy brought up the fact that if she had told him about the kidnapping, he would have brought warmer clothes, the girl playfully rolled her eyes. "But then it would have ruined the surprise! Besides, if you're knocked out cold, you won't feel the cold." she said confidently. This made Matty also take another glace at Em's attire. He managed to look good in whatever he wore... which was a little odd, coming from a girl, to wards a guy, but it was rather true. Whether it was a tux, or school uniform, or dressy attire, or jeans and shirt, he looked very attractive. In Matty's eyes, anyway, but she didn't need anyone else's opinion, for that fact.
The questions that followed one after enough were simple enough, and so she answered the ones that wouldn't give anymore away. "Hopefully it will be fun, and yes, there will be food." she replied with a smile. After walking for another half a minute, Matty's green eyes began to recognize the lights that helped to mark where we had set up their evening. As they finally made the final stretch, the sight that would lay upon Emeric's eyes would be something closely detailed to the one Matty's gaze fell upon again, for the second time this night. A clearing in the forest, probably roughly 15 meters by 15 meters was smacked right in the middle of the forest. There was flat ground, that had been covered by a mix of soft moss, and littles blades of grass.
A bit row wards the back right hand corner of the clearing was a thick part of a small riving that ran through the forest, which eventually snaked through the trees, and joined onto the great lake. The stream was about 5 meters at it's widest, with clear, cold water slowly tumbling over the rocks that acted like bedding it in. The entire area was lit by light from the dying sky, but also small strings of lights that seemed to dance around the trees. If one were to observe closely, they would realized that the lights were in fact streams of fire-flies, magically enchanted to stay in twisting and twirling lines as they wrapped around the trunks of the trees. A few meters from the bubbling brook was a large checkered pic knick blanket, and a pic knick basket situated in the middle. Inside, it was stuffed with various foods and drinks, something Matty had managed to muster (with help) from the House Elf's.
To the side of blanket, a little further to wards the stream was a small fire, the embers glowing brightly, the magically fueled sticks within crackling and popping. Finally, sitting a few meters off from the fire was a small dome tent, a little canopy popping out from the entrance, which was faced to wards the fire. Matty had brought along the tent more for comfort, in case it got too cold for them to sit out in the open, even with the fire, but if they felt inclined to sleep in it, well, that wasn't too much trouble either. The sun setting in the sky matched the colors of the fire, as did the water of the stream matching the darkness off the woods, which made the dancing lights stand out, shimmering, sparkling. The teenager had put together this settling, mainly based on the fact that a few weeks ago, they had both enjoyed the light and warmth of the fire, a rather camping like atmosphere. This was more like... romantic camping though, and thought she felt a little corny, the girl hoped the boy liked it.
"Well, surprise." Matty said finally, turning her gaze to Em as they stopped.

To some, the forest could be an intimidating place. Much like when they were on their walk in the Shrieking Shack, Emeric thought of random little tidbits to tell Matty about the forest. He thought of several things he had heard about the forest, a raving pack of centaurs carrying off a teacher, a half giant stored away in the forest by the groundskeeper. Several other similarly interesting characters flitted through the Slytherin's mind as they continued slightly deeper into the forest.
The vastness of the somewhat dark forest was a little daunting to Emeric, but he kept his cool and remained slightly aloof about it as he looked around the area, making sure he listened carefully to the creaking sounds of their footsteps as they walked over twigs and leaves, dirt and grass alike. He listened for animal sounds as well, any screeching or groaning and he was ready to have his wand out and cursing everything in sight. He was nervous, but he would never admit it out loud. ' But then it would have ruined the surprise! Besides, if you're knocked out cold, you won't feel the cold. ' He snickered at this comment, finding it amusing. " If you say so... I'm just concerned for my health is all. " He said with a short nod of his head as he looked back down to the Hufflepuff.
He was glad to hear about the food bit, because his stomach was rumbling slightly. The snack he had helped himself to that afternoon hadn't been too fulfilling and he was interested to see what Matty had brought along for them to share. Thinking of sharing, Em pulled out the package of sherbert lemons from his hoodie pocket and handed it over to Matty. " I picked these up... thought you might like them. " He shrugged his shoulders with a small smile. Just as he turned to look back in front of them, they were there.
" Wow, Matty... " He said at first, his eyes slowly taking in the scene around him. He first noticed the little picnic area set up, then the fire, which only reminded him of their last major hang out time at the ' beach. ' His features softened as he continued to look around, the small little river, the lights, and eventually the tent. His brows shot up in a curious manner as he looked back to Matty. A tent? He let his eyes be drawn elsewhere, to the strings of lights and the the picnic basket, wondering what goodies lay inside. " It's amazing. " He said truthfully with a grin as he turned to the girl, placing a light kiss on her cheek. She was thoughtful, and even thought the whole atmosphere was lovey dovey and romantic, he enjoyed it.
He enjoyed it because he was there with her.

Emeric's words played about in her mind, before Matty found a suitable reply to his comment about being concerned for his own well-being. She let the innocent smile fall back into place, as she continued to look to him as they walked. "Don't worry. I care about your health too. If I'm ever to kidnap you, I promise I'll supply a blanket." she said, giving him a small squeeze. She even amused herself by this statement. Even if she was kidnapping him, the teenager was there promising to make sure he wouldn't get too cold. Silly as it was, it was just one of those little quirks that showed Matty did care about him, through all the layers of jesting, though.
"I picked these up, thought you might like them." The teenager's gaze down looked to Em's hands, where a bag of lollies were evident in his grasp. She didn't know what they were just yet, but odds were, they would be something both Matty and Emeric enjoyed. "Thanks, Em." she said, no sarcasm or teasing tones in her voice now, and the girl took them in her free hand, slipping th bag of sweets into her coat pocket.
The girl's gaze was fixed on Emeric's reaction, rather that the actually sit for most of the time that he was taking it in. She had spent the morning mustering up an idea for the night, and the afternoon setting it all up. If had been an effort, but it was something that Matty defiantly didn't mind going to the trouble of doing so. He was worth it. When the boy stated that it was amazing, following up the comment with a kiss on her cheek, the girl couldn't help but blush the faintest bit. "It's nothing too fancy, but, you know. Cozy enough." she said with a smile. It was good to know that he actually did like the camp-out like picnic, despite the over-all cheesy range of things. The girl looked around the clearing once again, before resting her gaze on the picnic. "You hungry?" Matty asked him after a moment, offering the idea of eating. Now that she thought about it, the girl felt rather empty in her stomach.
