As she looked down the corridor, making sure that there wasn't any people that could pose as hazards, Maddy clapped her hands together. Hogwarts was a fun place, yeah, but there was only so much fun that someone could have before having to dream up something so extravagant, that it could get her in a lot of trouble, or very hurt. Either way, Maddy wasn't too fussed. She was the kind of person that lived life to the extreme, that didn't hold back because of anything, and liked to have fun. If she was going to go to classes all day every weekday, she was going to have fun on her weekends. That was a guarantee.
Most people tend to think that you need people around you to have fun. But over the years, Maddy has come to realise that all you need is an imagination and well, a skate board. Or that was the example that she was choosing to go with right at that moment. She had planned this perfectly; she had drawn up a map of the corridor that she was going to be following, she had cleared the spot of all that rubbish that built up over a week, and picked a time of the day that wouldn't be busy with people.
As she tightened the helmet that she wore, Maddy smiled. It had taken her three weeks to perfect this thing that she was going to riding. It excited her, but scared her as well, but only just enough to get her adrenaline pumping. Okay, so it wasn't that extreme, but knowing Maddy, she was going to get hurt, more than likely quite badly.
As she strapped a foot into this snowboard-like thing, although it had wheels on, she made sure that the wheels spun properly, and that her knee guards were tight enough. As she smiled excitedly, she stood up, and let herself roll down the slightly sloped corridor, pushing herself with the foot that was still free, Maddy giggled, gathering speed that she knew that she shouldn't have.
