Day two. Things had gone pleasantly well enough the first day back to Hogwarts and she hoped things would continue on their journey. Out of the number of lessons she had planned for the year, this had to be her favorite. It was a technique used by many and yet so many others found it to be completely unfair and underhanded. In the large woman's opinion it was only as underhanded as it was harmless (most of the time). This lesson was only a diluted version of what the real potion would do, the reason? She wanted her students to test it and wouldn't be able to handle a bunch of lumbering idiots at the end of the period. So a diluted potion made it so they'd be slightly aware of their actions, enough so they wouldn't be horrible to handle. To confuse someone so badly they were unable to figure out their own name, that was power, but that kind of power wasn't what she was teaching to her class. Their versions, at the most, would confuse the drinker of where they were, and possibly of those around them. Nothing so powerful they would forget themselves and their family, where they come from, and really who they were. With a wastebasket at her feet, the woman sat in her brand new chair peeling an orange, starving at having forgotten all about dinner the night before in her excitement over a change in the potion she was trying to rebrew from the year before when she'd had to let it go on its own accord during the pox outbreak. On the board was written: Welcome! Fourth Years Confusing Concoction D. Tapia
