Very early in the morning her seventh years were to arrive in her class on the second day of lessons where they would learn the fun potion of Gregory's Unctuous Unction. It was a rather unusual potion, one which was used to con others in thoughts. While she wasn't extremely fond of potions as such, Desideria got quite a kick out of this particular potion and she was planning on pairing up couples so they'd have to each drink the other's potion to find whether it worked or not. Thankfully her students got along quite well with one another, though she could see who were truly good friends and those would not be paired together for the lesson. Sighing happily the woman drank from her glass of orange juice, happy at her choice over tea that morning, and waited for her students to arrive, already thinking of who she'd pair with whom. On the board was written: Welcome! Seventh Years Lesson 1 Gregory's Unctuous Unction D. Tapia

Right after going for her run that morning, trying to keep her mind from distractions by distracting it, Felicity returned to her dorm and showered before slipping down to the dungeons, forgoing breakfast that morning, as she'd done with dinner two nights before. Feast were not her favourite things anymore and she wasn't about to sit down at one without Drew or Corey as they'd been the ones to keep her safe the past time and she didn't much care for the feasts since that January with the Deva.
Entering the Potions classroom, the blonde smiled at her Professor before taking her seat the squared table where she had sat the previous year, leaving room again for Celina and Connor and whoever else joined them at their table. Things were so boring so far this year, most the day before Felicity had spent in the library writing and re-writing letters over and over to Drew, ignoring the essay she had and not bothering to study anything that they'd be going over in next classes. To Felicity, nothing really mattered much other than getting the scores she needed for her N.E.W.T.s classes to go to the research facility she was in contact with. And she still needed to talk with Dante about something, though she hadn't had time lately to do so.

Henry had spent most of the night keeping watch over the third and fourth floor corridors, and so probably wasn't as mentally present as one should be when dealing with a day full of classes. He had been dozing on a third floor corridor bench when Sir Nicolas happened upon him and "shook" him awake. After shaking off the unpleasant feeling in his sinuses (Sir Nicolas had essentially slapped him, however, as Sir Nicolas was a ghost, his hand passed right through Henry's face, causing several unpleasant effects which were, nonetheless, highly effective at waking him from his half hours' sleep). Even with all of this, Henry had had time to grab a bite to eat, cringe over a necessary intake of coffee (he had always been more of a tea person) and make his way to the potions classroom with plenty of time to spare before the start of the lesson.
Henry entered the potions classroom to find a range of people already waiting their lesson, including Felicity. He paused for a fraction of a moment so short that it looked like he had slightly tripped, and then moved instinctively for a nearby desk that put some distance between them. He didn't know why the memory of that morning in the Great Hall still effected him so, it probably didn't effect her so much, but that didn't stop his wand hand twitching slightly as he took his seat. His eyes raked the board once, and he busied himself taking out the ingredients; He knew the potion well enough to make it without a textbook, though that didn't stop him laying out the book on the table just in case.

Christine was looking forward to her potions class. Mainly because it was a short walk from her common room. She hadn't even bothered going up for breakfast that morning, but was definitely regretting it now. She was happy that the warm air from outside hadn't at all spread down to the dungeons, Christine hated sweating during classes. That morning she'd peered out the small window in her dormitory and not appreciated the sun nearly blinding her.
Checking her watch, she threw her potions book into her bag and walked quickly out of the common room, not wanting to be held up by anyone that would make her late for Tapia's class.
Christine quietly poked her head around the door to the classroom, and slowly walked towards her usual seat on the far left side of the room. She quickly passed Professor Tapia's desk and claimed her seat. Christine quietly took her book out of her bag and placed it on the table. She tried to ignore the sudden growls of her stomach, and shot frequent looks towards Professor Tapia to make sure she couldn't hear them either

Lately Connor seemed to be the fourth person arriving to all of his lessons. He wasn't intentionally trying to arrive later than his peers, but it seemed to be happening frequently as of late. It was for this reason that Connor didn't think much of anything as he walked into the potions classroom, counted the amount of students already in it, and shrugged his shoulders. Potions was among the more interesting of classes, and Connor didn't mind having to arrive earlier than normal for it.
As Connor entered the classroom he finished munching on a breakfast pastry that he had gotten from the Great Hall just moments ago. He unceremoniously wiped the crumbs from his hands and onto his nice black robes and walked past the front of the room. " G'morning Professor. " He said with a slight smile as he looked past Professor Tapia and to the board behind her. ' Gregory's Unctuous Unction. ' From the looks of it, the potions lesson would shape up to be a rather interesting one. Connor glanced around as if noticing the other people in the room for the first time. He spotted Felicity in their usual area and moved to sit next to the girl.
" Hey, how are you? " He slipped his bag off onto the floor and leafed through his book for the ingredients list for the potion they were to be preparing that morning.

Anna didn't really like morning classes so it was no surprise that this morning she woke up a little later than she would have liked. Going through the typical ritual of freaking out, finding her robe, getting dressed and running out of the dorm to get breakfast she was a little tired. To think Anna would have learned that staying up late reading a book would have horrible side effects the next day. The important thing was that she made it to class surpressing any urge to yawn. Hopefully whatever potions had in store for class today would keep her interested and awake.
Walking into the dungeon classroom Anna saw familiar faces but she just picked a random seat next to someone not really focusing on who it was. Maybe it was because she thought she was late but the fact that she was on time might take a few moments to register within the Gryffindor's brain. Then after that she might realize who she was sitting next to.

Pulling out her potions book, Felicity started flipping through the pages until she found the exact potion they were to be brewing that day. However, her light brown eyes didn't wander far down the page before she heard a voice speaking to her and felt a presence take up the seat next to her. Turning with a bright smile, she unconsciously threw her arms around the boy in greeting, not having seen him on the train and without much time to speak the day before or that day, she felt the greeting had a worthy cause, she missed him.
"I'm good," she answered, giving one last squeeze before releasing Connor from her grasp. The other entrances went unnoticed by the blonde, until another seat was taken by her fellow Gryffindor. "Hi Anna!" Felicity greeted just as brightly. "How are you guys doing?"
While Felicity had never spent much time with the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain, she'd always liked the girl. And Connor was one of her best mates, and with both being Quidditch Captains that year, things were sure to be interesting.

Celina stood up straight, her uniform never cleaner, more pressed, and her body never as covered with just the school uniform either. It was as if she had made sure whatever skin would have been showing, was covered with white tights, or white gloves for her hands... everything covered. In a way, it was almost surprising that her neck wasn't covered... or her head wrapped in a scarf of sorts, but they were not. Ceilna didn't seem to notice it much though as she entered the potions class early that morning and looked around nonchalant like, as if she had no idea where the appropriate seat would be to take.
The seat next to Connor was open, but would it be fraternizing? She had been warned against such things, and hesitated to take the seat next to Felicity, but that was soon to be out of the question as Anna sat down in it. Either way, it was at the same table and she'd be sitting with the three of them either way, but her mind screamed at her to just pick a seat that wasn't next to anyone at all. At that point, she noticed the impossibility of that with how many were actually in the classroom. Had potions always been this crowded?
Celina shrugged lightly to herself, not saying a word as she figured it just had been. Her bun that her hair was tied in must just have been too tight that morning for any thoughts to actually process correctly in her brain. Walking, one foot slowly in front of the other, Celina went and took the seat next to Connor that she had hesitantly wondered about taking, flashing a small but polite smile at the three friends of hers. "Hello," she said fully sighing softly. "Wonderful class today, don't you all think so?" she asked of them matter of fact like. Smiling softly she looked back and forth from one friend to the other and to the other, and yet... it could have been described as who sat down with them was not Celina Jedynak at all.

Watching her students file in, the large woman smiled warmly at each and every one of them, noting how each reacted to the other and making the ultimate decisions of who to pair with whom for the lesson. Of course, the list she had in mind of pairings was apparently exactly who she wanted with whom. Everyone seemed to take to the others as they had the year before, getting along just fine, but there were still those she could see were closer to others than anyone else. And those who gave fleeting looks to one another before taking a seat far away were more likely to be paired than they ever though.
"Good morning students!" she smiled brightly, taking in their changed looks. Summer usually did well for most, but the Jedynak girl looked a bit odd and Hjort pale, but others looked normal, thankfully. "Today's lesson is more for fun, but will be a likely posed question on you N.E.W.T.s exam at the end of the year. Now, who can tell me what Gregory's Unctuous Unction is, affects included, and points to those who can tell me a few of the required ingredients."
Points were always easy to gain in her class, she made it a point to hand them out, but when she took them, boy did she take them.

" Oomph, hi, " He mumbled into her hair as she hugged him, a reaction he knew he should have expected by the amount of time he was around Felicity, but one he was still surprised at all the same. He smiled at her as he said, " I'm doing rather well. "
Once again as Celina Jedynak entered the classroom Connor lifted his eyes to meet hers, only to notice that she wasn't looking his way. He quirked his head, curiosity getting the best of him once again. She looked different, and as she sat down and joined them, he noticed that she sounded different, too. He shook his head, freeing his thoughts as he directed his eyes to the woman at the front of the classroom. He actually was looking forward to seeing how the effects of this particular potion would pan out. He rose his hand in the air and immediately began to tell what he knew of the potion.
" Gregory's Unctuous Unction is a potion that causes the drinker to think that the giver of the potion is their best friend. " He had only answered one or two of the questions she had posed to them, but he couldn't really remember any of the ingredients.
