One of her most hated potions, however one that needed to be taught as her students would find this on their exams at the end of the year. The reason she hated the potion? For what it did.
A folly potion, one Desideria herself was not fond of. It was ridiculous to think one could make another fall by manipulation. Not only did it bring out trust issues between friends and lovers, but it also brought into speculation thoughts of what love really constituted as. A potion used for greed and such follies as lust, there was only one reason Desideria was willing to teach it to her class. The potion itself was difficult, challenging, and it was right on the level she hoped her class was at. If they were Sixth years, they had to have passed O.W.L.s to make it into her class, they had to know what they were doing. If they didn't, it would only give the woman a reason to remove them from her classroom. Potions of such weariness were to be treated cautiously. A reason she had a rule, something that was to be followed. Potions were not to be removed from her classroom, and if she got wind of one having done such, they would be finding themselves on the way not only to detention for a month for merely taking the potion, but they would also find themselves in front of the Headmistress.
With her students in this particular class ranging from ages fifteen to sixteen, she hoped they were bright enough to know not to mess around with potions. There were to be no games and play in this lesson. Yes, she hoped the potions would be tested by her students, as she had an antidote at hand, quite a bit of it, but she still would not allow a student to use a potion that was too potent or so far off the marker she couldn't recognize it as what it was supposed to be.
While many may not have thought the lesson one worth learning, much as she believed of it, it was still worth it for the mere lesson. To see how the ingredients could make something that was banned by many governments work properly, to hopefully be able to recognize it if it were ever brought to the lips of themselves, that was why she was teaching it. The beauty of the potion was nearly unmatched in its area, but it was harmful, dreadful, and ridiculous.
It would be made clear at the beginning of the lesson her own thoughts on it. Whether a student cared to hear or not, they would listen. It would also be made clear what consequences awaited for those who decided to fool around in her class while making the potion.
On the board behind her was written: Sixth Years Diluted Love Potion D. Tapia

Taking a drink from the bottle of water she carried, Felicity made her way to the Potions classroom, not really sure how to feel about the lesson that day. A love potion seemed a little more than ridiculous, but at the same time her curiosity was getting the better of her. How well did a love potion really work? Was it that easy to slip to someone? The blonde was really curious, not sure whether it was something they should actually be learning of. Felicity already knew she loved someone and she didn't need to feed him a potion to realize he loved her back, but it just seemed odd.
And in the History of Magic lesson the previous year there was a love potion brewing then too, it was the same day Celina snapped at Connor, which made her giggle at the thought of it all. Thankfully it didn't seem anyone held grudges about that particular day. However, the lioness was curious about something in particular with this potion. Would she smell the same smells as before? Or would they have changed? The one smell that lingered around the Gryffindor common room no longer did, and she was pretty sure she knew who that scent was attached to, but she hadn't seen him in such a long time that it seemed rather pointless to smell that scent once more. Would her smelling likes change? She wasn't sure if she wanted them to or not.
Entering the classroom, Felicity took a seat at one of the four person tables, dropped her bag to the floor, and propped her chin in her hand to wait for the lesson to begin...or someone to show up to talk with.

Connor was in a rather good mood. He didn't have any specific reason to be, but he was. Classes had been going okay so far, there hadn't been anything too bad going on around the school and people were recovering from the dragon pox epidemic. Times were good, and it just so happened that as he walked into the potions classroom he was caught in mid song.
" If I were the king of the world Tell you what I'd do I'd throw away the cars and the bars in the world Make sweet love to you Sing it now... "
He paused and grinned at Felicity, who was the only other student in the room. He made his way towards the girl to sit next to her. He briefly looked up to Professor Tapia, his grin still in place as he continued to sing.
" Joy to the world All the boys and girls Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea Joy to you and me "
A muggle song ' Joy to the World, ' one of Connor's mother's favorites. One of his favorites, too. His voice actually wasn't that bad, he was on key and found himself enjoying singing even if he was making a bit of a fool of himself in front of the two ladies. Professor Tapia didn't strike him as the kind of teacher to yell at him for singing, and Felicity was his friend, so more than likely she would probably just find it a bit amusing. " Well, hello there ladies. " He said as he finally plopped down into the seat next to Felicity. He looked to the front of the room and saw what potion they were doing. Diluted love potion.
His grin softened into a smile as he remember last year in their history of magic class, a love potion had been brewing in the classroom and Celina and he had snapped at one another. " Remember that day, last year in history of magic classroom? " He asked curiously as he remembered it. At the time he had found Celina irritating with her know it all manner, but now things were different. He looked back to the doorway, wondering where she was. " Spotted Celina around yet? " He asked, still looking around

It wasn't long before Felicity heard a voice that was becoming quite familiar to her ears, and one she decided she didn't mind so much hearing more often. Connor's singing caught the blonde's attention and she turned to look at him with a smile. It was a song she knew, too. And when Connor paused his singing and smiled at her, she king of hoped he'd continue. While she wasn't in church, obviously, she liked singing and enjoyed hearing others sing, too. Church at home was really the only chance she had to sing, when she was in muggle school her time was too occupied by sports to sing in the school choir, but at church she had just enough time to join them.
As he sat down and finished a few more lyrics, Felicity smiled again at him, barely humming the tune under her breath. She loved when she knew songs other's knew as well.
"When you and Celina were going at it?" Felicity asked with a bemused smile. It'd been an interesting introduction to the lesson. Not to mention, it gave her a chance to know who the boy was, even if he wasn't very nice that day. He'd turned out for the better so far and she liked him well enough.
"No, I saw her for a moment earlier and in a couple of classes today, but I haven't seen her in a bit." Most classes they had together, but they didn't always walk to their next class together, just sometimes.

She leaned her body up against the cold stonewall as she closed her eyes and tried to push away the fever that was brewing within her body again. The pepper-up potion she had taken that day wore off quicker than the others had, and she kept hearing things that she knew just couldn’t be there. Why would her father be at Hogwarts? Celina! Celina? Where are you, you blasted spawn from my loins? she could hear him growling, and just knew he had found out about something she’d been hiding from him. What he didn’t already know about her, she couldn’t remember, but Celina whimpered just slightly as she edged to her next classroom against the wall.
Opening her eyes just slightly, she looked around, not seeing any sight of her father. Celina wondered if Alfonz was in his office, but then thought better against bothering him since she had her potions class to be getting to. One more class of the day, and then she’d be set to go back to her dorms and go to bed. That was it… she’d go to bed, and wake up from this horrible nightmare she was having. Taking off at a sprint, she ran as fast as she could, swearing that behind her she could hear large feet running behind her. Squealing slightly, she couldn’t help but allow a few tears to fall down her face in fright. What had she done wrong? And what had been so wrong that he had to come to the school to find her about it? Celina just couldn’t know… she couldn’t remember…
The potions classroom was open, and Celina almost ran past it in her hurry, just barely grabbing onto the edge of the door to stop herself. Unfortunately, what she hadn’t expected was that her body would follow the length of her arm, making her accidentally keep running, but right into the wall. Stopping for a moment, she took note to see what was in pain, and what was probably broken. She moved her nose first, felt around her face with the hand that wasn’t hanging onto the door, and then sighed as she realized that she was lucky not to have even bit her lip. However, the footsteps from behind her didn’t stop as she did and as she looked down the hallway, she saw the silhouette of a man. Had her father found her?
Her face went pale and she quickly hurried herself into the classroom, not even taking note of what potion they’d be working on that day. Sinking into the chair next to Connor, her brow sweat and her breath was somewhat short. Her mind was so preoccupied with worry and with fright that she didn’t even greet her friends right away, and she shut her eyes as soon as she heard the footsteps proceeding down the hall. Could anyone else here him? Celina, I saw where you went. You can’t hide from your father… Slightly, she whimpered under her breath and leaned forward on her desk. Her stomach hurt now, more than it had before and she laid her head down on her desk slightly.
“What are we doing today?” she asked lightly, missing all of Connor and Felicity’s conversation that they’d been having. She had to take her mind off of her father. He couldn’t really be there… not without Alfonz knowing, and Alfonz would have told her if he was coming… wouldn’t he?

Connor was still up on his natural high that a combination of singing and just being in a really good mood put him in. He nodded his head, confirming what Felicity asked. " Going at it.. " He repeated, adding in, " It wasn't that bad. Really. And besides, some good came of it, yeh? " He said with his slightly crooked grin to the girl. He was referring to his relationship with Celina, undefined by labels as of yet. They held hands and talked and sat close, which wasn't something he did with friends, and he was sure it wasn't something Celina did with just friends either.
He looked back to Felicity from where he had been staring absently at the open doorway. " Yeah, okay. " He said, his eyes turning back to the girl, still wondering where Celina was. It wasn't as if she was late, but she usually showed up a bit early to classes.
When she did arrive in the classroom, she looked disheveled and not at all in a good or even calm mood. " Celina? " He asked, turned to look at the Ravenclaw girl seated beside him. He sent a glance in Felicity's direction in a questioning manner, wondering if she might know what was wrong. He felt obligated to answer Celina's question, though, so he motioned up to the front of the room where Tapia was seated in front of the chalk board. " Diluted love potion. " If she had been in a better mood Connor would have said some sort of joke, something to make her laugh. Worry caused the Slytherin to furrow his brow slightly as he examined the girl. She didn't look too well.

First day here and she already had classes. Eaden didn't think she'd actually have to go to those classes. She thought the teachers would let her have the first day to get acquainted with the school. Nope, she was sent straight down to the dungeons, to potions. She had to race out of her common room to get there in time. Luckily her mum told her the quickest route down there before she left after dropping her off.
The school wasn't that hard to maneuver around. You just had to watch where you were going and remember that nothing was as it seems. She dashed down the stairs, her blonde hair flying behind her as she ran. She really didn't want to be late to class, not on her first day! Eaden bit her lip as she finally found the stairwell to the dungeons. With a sigh of relief she slowed down and walked calmly toward the potions classroom.
She stood at the entrance of the classroom for a good few minutes. She wasn't sure she really wanted to go in. She made all of this fuss about wanting to leave Durmstrang and now she was scared about going to her first class. The jitters were almost killing her. But she knew this was what she wanted so she pushed past those fears and walked inside.
There were a few people in the classroom. The teacher and three other students. She quickly walked in and found a seat close to the front. She wasn't trying to be anti-social, it just seemed the other students were in deep conversation and she didn't want to disrupt them.
