Lainee wasn't in the room. She was actually in the back checking on the ingredients not sure if she had enough for her Newts Students. She was sure the boys would love this potion. Next year the girls would have their chance for a potion to love. Pun intended.

Daniel shrugged his way into the Potion's classroom looking down at his feet. He was really not in the mood for any classes today, and a small scrowl already spread across his face that showed that. The aloof teenager took a seat towards the back, left corner of the classroom. He flinged his black bag over the desk as his today inky-black eyes locked upon the front of the classroom. Bloody teacher... I made the effort to be here early, you could do the same. He thought to himself as he narrowed his eyes in anticipation. After a minute, he gave up and sighed. Yes, he had seen the class outline, yet he didn't care. After all, it was only a fake strength that would eventually wear off. Daniel didn't take out any of his class materials, rather he just laid his head upon the desk, sighing heavily.

Rael walked into the classroom, she noticed it was empty except for a boy who had his head on his desk. Slytherin, she thought, wonderful way to start the day. Having to be in the potions classroom alone with a Slytherin.
She walked up the aisles and sat in the middle of the room farthest to the right. She hoped other students arrive quickly. Rael couldn't wait for potions to begin, it was one of her favorite classes, and she was eagerly waiting for the chance to make potions once again. The break had felt too long, as though it were never going to end, and now that term had begun, it was time to get back into the swing of things.

Kellen's shoulder was sore that day, and it was really irritating him. He rotated it several times as he walked into the Potions classroom, not really paying attention to much else. He dropped his books down on a desk near the front of the room, and started swinging his arm around in a big circle, trying to loosen his muscles a bit. Did he look stupid doing so? Yes, probably. But at least it was working.

Allegra walked in shortly after Kellen, nearly getting hit by his arm. Her hand flew up in front of her, blocking his swing. "Be careful... you're liable to knock someone's block off that way," she teased.

Kellen started a bit as Allegra stopped his arm-swinging. "Heh, sorry," he said with a sheepish grin as he turned to her. "It's just a little sore, you know? Ever since that stupid statue thing... I'll be more careful now, promise."

"What're we celebrating now?" Beni said as she came in, not paying attention to Kellen's words, but his actions. She looked around the still barren room. "Oh, I know! The proffy's not here! Hurrah, then?" She lifted a fist up in celebration, very ready to start doing the Hustle.

"Hmmm..." Allegra answered Kellen with a small smirk, thinking it would be catty to remind him of all of the back-rubs a certain Gryffindor had insisted on giving him after the statue incident. She turned to Beni and gave a small laugh.
"We're supposed to be doing a strength potion. I don't want to miss out on that," she said. "Maybe I'll finally be able to get the good chair in the common room."

"Strength potion, pish-posh," Beni said jokingly as she sat down cross-legged on a desk. "I don't need a potion when I've got a gun show going on here." She pretended to flex her biceps and added, "Would anyone like tickets to this gun show?"

"Impressive Beni. But I have my own guns to attend to." Brittany retorted as she walked into the potions classroom and flexed her own arm.
Walking over to where Daniel sat alone, she sat her stuff down in the chair next to him. As he seemed to be a bit seperated from the rest of the class. Though his head was down, she could tell a bit by his expression that he seemed somewhat aggitated. So she bent down and tapped him lightly with her finger on his temple, "Hope you don't mind me sitting next to you Mr. Big and Bad Slytherin."

Daniel looked up from the desk top upon hearing a very familiar voice, and caught yet again, another very familiar pair of eyes. He mumbled as she poked his temple, "Sure... Why not?" Before putting his head back on the table. The tapping of his temple was annoying him greatly, for it kind of hurt. All the same, the scrowl grew deeper, and two small, yet noticable dimples came into both cheeks as he watched the brick wall not too far from him as if it was the most interesting thing on the face of the earth.

Walking into the room slowly, Ana first looked around for the teacher. Not spotting her, she sighed and stepped toward the nearest empty seat, which happened to be near a Ravenclaw boy she didn't think she'd met yet. She nodded in his direction, mumbling a quiet "Hello" before stuffing her things into her satchel and plopping down into the empty desk.
Her eyes wandered over to Daniel, who was conveniently situated in the back corner of the room, apparently trying to keep away from everyone else. He wasn't doing a very good job of it, though, because the Gryffindor quidditch captain promptly took a seat beside him after poking him in the head a few times. Stifling a giggle, Ana reclined in her desk and let her bag drop lazily to the floor beside her.

Lainee came out the back with her arms full of ingredients. She looked over at the group that had gathered and nodded her head. She quickly went over to the table near her desk and tried to place the ingridients down without breaking or spilling them.

"You Gryffies just better watch out where you point those guns of yours," Allegra answered with a small laugh. When she noticed the professor coming in, she found her seat and got her things ready for the lesson.

Spotting the professor as she came in from the back of the classroom, Ana reluctantly leaned over, grabbing a handful of the cloth from her knapsack and dragging it atop her desk. She opened one end of it, pulling the necessary materials out of the bag before letting it fall to the floor again. Luckily there was nothing of utter importance in the satchel, as it collided with the ground with a sudden 'thud.'
Picking up her wand, she began to twirl it between the fingers of her left hand silently, waiting for the lesson to begin. If she had read over the curriculum correctly, they would be learning how to create a strength potion today. Nothing that would be very important to her, as the sixteen year old tried to shy away from things and encounters where strength would be an issue. Aside from quidditch, of course, but she had a feeling that the use of such a potion wouldn't be highly praised on the pitch.
