Ok, so this is how things were supposed to go.
Jax had all intentions of playing just a mere trick on some of her newer Slytherin friends that she had met within the last month. Connor and Dean more specifically. Both were intended to walk out and get tangled in a trap of webs that would be located right outside the Slytherin dorm entrance. Who knew Jax would slip with the web potion getting herself stuck high on the ceiling?
By five o’clock pm the trap was supposed to be set and ready to go. She planned on owling the two boys personally after she had gotten everything up and ready. But it didn’t happen, actually, it was more fooling herself than anything else and after hanging in the air for three hours, she was getting hungry and the blood that was rushing to her head was bound to make the bats want to eat her for dinner! She was getting ansty and no matter how hard she struggled, the bloody webs would not break free.
That morning hadn’t been any different than any other morning. She got up, and while in one of her potions classes, was looking through the book, bored of whatever they were doing that day. Finding the web making potion, she knew she had to try it! And so, as easy as it seemed to be, she started to brew it in her common bathroom in the Ravenclaw house. Seemed simple enough. All she had to do after was place the web potion in the right place and anyone whom walked into it would be stuck.
As she had placed it down, however, she placed the bottle on the ground. Somehow, she managed to trip herself up over the bottle and fall right backwards into the freshly made net. It got worse from there though, as she found herself not only stuck, but every time she struggled she got more and more entangles and now hung upside down, fake cobwebs all over her, and stuck to the dungeon ceilings. She whimpered as she didn’t see anyone come in and out of the slytherin entrance since the time she had hung there, and began to worry that maybe….
…maybe it wasn’t the entrance at all!!
She’d be stuck there FOREVER!!!
Again she freaked out and eventually had to face the facts that she would not be getting herself out of those webs. Reluctantly the young Raven started to call for help, embarrassed by the fact that she even needed any. “Help!! Someone get me down! Please?” she called out, really not wanting anyone to find her, but at the same time, Jax saw no other solution to her problem…
…and as she hung…she swore she could hear the light squeaking of bats starting to flutter towards her.

She was going hunting. Oh yes, and when she caught her prey she wasn't so certain that she would be kind to it either. Fyona could have sworn that there were certain elements at Hogwarts that were conspiring against her and the wildlife was one of them. She had been sitting in one of the corridors on the first floor, just minding her business and reading a book: A History of Magic in Relation to Muggles in Society . Despite the long name the book was pretty interesting and she would have never thought that she would have even picked it up. She had to get some kind of work done though but she had ended up being too engrossed in the book so she wasn't actually working..... It was in the middle of page seventy-nine that the large tabby cat landed on her head and decided to make a home there. It was also at that moment that Fyona tried --gently-- to push it off, but it insisted that Fyona's soft head of auburn hair was the perfect place to settle down for the evening. Again she tried to push it off only to come up with the same results. A third time and she ended up being bitten on the inside of her palm and that was the last straw.
Jumping up and flinging her head about she had finally managed to uproot the darn nuisance but it was now grumpy. It was a standoff between cat and girl when the cat darted between her legs and scampered away. The chase began. She had followed it from one first floor corridor to anther and another. She was out of breath but there was no way she was just going to end it that easily. It was taunting her! She was not going to let a cat, a cat!, out smart her. From the first floor they had gone to the ground floor where various students just lingering about and talking, gossiping, canoodling, gaped as the fiery headed girl chased a mangy looking cat around and a round. From the ground floor they went to the dungeons and it was here that they got separated.
Gah! Where is it? When I find it I am going to stuff it and make it an example to all the other cats that wanted to bite, claw, or make a living somewhere on my person! She chased it until she turned a corner and saw nothing but a white wall. What the heck?... As she ran closer she thought she had it trapped, regardless of how or why the wall sprang up, and laughed like a maniac as she got ever so close to it.
It disappeared into the wall and this stopped her dead in her tracks. It was only when she was this close to it did she see that the cat had escaped through a hole through.... Through webbing? Through webbing. Of course, no one can actually just look at something to confirm what it was. No, they had to touch it because stupidity had a way of wanting confirmation. So the girl touched the stuff and indeed found that it was webbing. And through the hole the cat stood on the other side of the wall just looking at her. Mocking her. Laughing at her, and then it turned and ran away. It would live another day.
It was only when she realized that she was not going to catch the cat after all that she heard the voice. "Help!!" The sound startled her a little but she was used to hearing things like this. It was either her imagination or Peeves trying to feed off her naivety. "Peeves just up and go away! I'm not in the mood!" But the sound persisted. She looked down, nothing. She looked to her left, nothing. Her right, nothing. Then behind her and in front, nothing. Then finally up. What in the...?
"What is wrong with you?! What are you doing up there?!" This girl, who Fyona thought may have been a third year from some of her classes but wasn't sure, was crazy to be just...Hanging out on the ceiling. Then again there would be some who would classify her as crazy too...

Jax hung where she did, unable to see below her, or the person who there was standing. Figuring that there was no hope, she began to whimper a little, swearing that she'd kill any bat that even thought of touching her. The only problem with that thought, however, was the fact that her wand lay in her pocket. The pocket that was unreachable, for her hands were wrapped tightly against her body and therefore, there was no way she could even get any bat away from her. She swung a bit back and forth, and finally heard a voice from below calling up to her.
"Wrong with me? Other than I'm stuck?" Jax said sarcastically, only then realizing that this person, whom she couldn't even see, could be her only way down. "I fell into the sticky web..." she said, neglecting to say the fact that she herself had put up the wall. "...and it seems struggling only made it worse..." Jax sighed shakily, still swearing that she could hear the squeaks coming from the bats that lived in the dungeons.
Jax started to swing back and forth from where she hung wondering whom it was that she was talking to. Being below her, Jax couldn't really tell, but unfortunately she was unaware of how bad the swinging back and forth could be. Finally, her height was high enough to see whom it was, and as she did, she could only think that she had seen the girl in classes or something before....maybe in a quidditch game? Jax couldn't tell. The last swing she swung however, only went back...and never forth.
"Hey! What the..." she said looking around and realizing how more stuck she had actually gotten herself. Now instead of hanging upside down, the web that was entangled around her, wrapping her up like a cacoon, now had glued itself to the ceiling behind her. She could see clearly now the ground and who was below her, but she couldn't move anymore from that spot she now stuck to.
"Oh...man!" she yelled out.....well, at least now she had less blood rushing to her brain. "I need help down...."Jax said, her tone defeated and her body weak from exhaustion.

If Fyona wasn't still under the effects of frustration cast by the wild mangy tabby cat, then she would have found the situation the girl was in quite comical. But she was, and so she didn't laugh at her, not at the moment, but merely looked up at her with her eyebrows scrunched and a minute scowl. Why should I help her? Why? I have better things I could be doing than helping her down from this stupid ceiling. If she wants to be rude then I can just leave her hanging there. With that thought Fyona attempted to remove her hand form the web wall and walk away.... Only things don't always turn out the way we plan. Her hand remained glued to sticky web and --like the stubborn cat-- refused to remove itself. This couldn't have been a spider's web! It couldn't have been... Could it? Oh Merlin's ghost! What if it is? Then I am going to be here forever until the spider feels the vibrations from my hand or the movement from that brainless girl above me and it will come and it will try to eat her and then it will turn to me with it's big jaws and its eight big eyes and it's hairy body and legs and then--
Panic started to set in on her face and she said out loud. "What if it comes back?!" The girl above was irrelevant at the moment. "It can eat you, but what about me?!" She used her left hand to try and remove her stuck right hand but that didn't work. "We're going to be here forever!"
"I need help down...."
She glared at the girl above her. She squinted hard for the girl really did seem familiar but she could have been a number of blonde girls who walked behind these stone walls. Hmm, but the length. Never mind the length. Who cares who she is?! I'm going to die! "This isn't about you and your problems okay? Not everything is about you," she said, a little but of the left over anger from the cat still clinging to her voice.

It was quite clear from the girl that she was out of her mind. Of all the people to find Jax, she had to? And then on top of it all, she starts screaming about something coming back? THE BATS! That's what she must have been talking about! But they hadn't been there since she had hung there, so what did she mean by come back? "What do you mean come back?!" she asked rushed back to the girl. "I don't understand what you're talking about! They haven't been here yet!" Jax started to move and struggle again, and just as she did she could see the girl also start to try and pull away from the web.
Jax took a minute to look at the girl to realize what she was doing. "Oh, man! You didn't touch it did you?!" against Jax will, her fool proof prank was going hay wire and all she could do was fixate where she was and hope that someone else came around. That was, if the girl was actually touching the net. Jax hoped and wished that her eyes were just playing tricks on her. She closed them tightly, only to reopen them and realize that they were not. Oh, this was not good...not good at all.
"My problems?! My problem is I can't get down...they're going to eat me alive, and you too just to let you know. It's not like you can get any where either! You touched the web! It's foolproof," and in fact it was, but only with the right spell or the right potion. Jax hadn't made an antidote potion, knowing that she could have probably used the spell to get whomever free....but her wand was in her pocket. Just great!
Struggling more, finally Jax gave up and just watched the girl below her. "Yea, well...at least something's about me...." she muttered as she stared at the girl. What was about her? The prank was hers....so it should have been her on the ground laughing and joking on whoever got caught. Not the other way around....well, at least the girl wasn't picking on her. She was just as stuck as Jax was....
....such irony, Jax didn't find amusing in the least bit.

".....they're going to eat me alive, and you too just to let you know."
There was more than one?! That's it. She never thought that she would have only been just twelve years old when the end came but here she was. And she was with a girl who was completely useless in this situation. Unable to hear what the girl was muttering to herself because the distance was too great for her ears to pick out the distinct words, she concentrated --tried to-- on the part of the web her hand was attached to. Under the fear of dying the last of her anger had ebbed away and now all that was left was this strange feeling. One in her chest and it sounded like a thousand horse hooves running across her heart. Or was that her heart? I can't die here! I can't. "Okay....," she tried to breathe in and out to calm herself. It did nothing for heart though.
"What do I do? What do I do?! If they come back...." she trialed off just thinking about the giant spiders coming towards her. Looming over her and pumping her full of paralyzing liquid to preserve her for later consumption. What an image. How horrible. If Fyona hadn't been so dramatic she may have been able to think rationally, but she was being very dramatic at the moment so her mind wasn't working right. In her defense her mind hadn't been working right for the past month or two so this was nothing new. This was just her luck too. Being in a magic school meant there were magical animals; magical plants; magical people; magical wands; magical foods; magical-- Magical wands? It took about three seconds for the full effects of the word to take place but once they had she was able to compose herself more. "I got it!" she looked up yelling to the girl, "I got it!"
She reached into the pockets of her slacks and pulled out her wand. Trusty when she needed it and for that she was thankful. It was only her nerves that ended up screwing up most spells and such, despite how well she knew them. She pointed her wand at the section of web right beside her hand and uttered a curse that she knew would work. Or at least she thought she knew it would work. "Diffindo!" she shouted with much enthusiasm, mostly at the prospect of being freed from this horrible situation. Instead nothing happened. Nothing at all. "Diffindo," she hollered again. Her enthusiasm was kept up, thinking perhaps she had used a different inflection than she was supposed to, but still nothing happened.
"Diffindo!" she shouted, her happiness somewhat worn but not completely.
