Matty grinned mischievously. She was actually pretty proud of herself, as of late. Her classes had been coming along swiftly and nicely, and the teenager was making good grades with each new topic. Her potion scores had begun to pick up, as the Hufflepuff put in more effort into studying and such. She had been practicing her Quidditch skills, getting everything into order for the new season. Although, in all this midst of getting her school issues running smoothly, Matilda had again began to let her grips on her friends slip. Emeric included. She felt awful for doing so, but at the same time, the teenager understood that unlike last year - this year they both had exams, and allot more to think about. Thankfully, however, the girl had managed to keep an often-as-possible agreement up with her mates, which was like an understanding really.
Today however, was a different story. Matty wasn't able to find Tee in the Library, in the Kitchens, or even hanging around the towers where Ravenclaws seemed to be abundant near. So, she left herself to her own devices, and by four in the afternoon, the teenager was making her way through the rather empty hallways of Hogwarts. Over her shoulder was a brown leather vintage bag, and inside? Well, that was a surprise, wasn't it. Her brother Oliver had sent the girl a nifty gift when he had been in Zonko's joke store, and she had only just decided to put it to use. It was like a spit ball set, only with a proper hard straw, and tiny little powder-made balls. The difference between these and normal spit balls were the obvious difference: these ones weren't made of spit, instead, they were magical. And further more, when hit by one, the victim would get the sudden urge they were being tickled - well, those were the ones Ollie had sent.
Opening the door to the Amour Gallery, Matty wasn't quite sure what led her here. She originally planed to amuse herself in the Library, but thought the better of it. For starters, here she could get some aim practice on the moving shields of amour. The girl went through to pick out one of the three straws, and grabbed a handful of the hard little balls. She pulled down the peak of her hat a little, before raising the straw, and pushing in the small ball-ammo. Matty aimed for a silver set of armor, before grasping the straw with both hands, and blowing swiftly into the straw. The small ball burst out, and hit the target a little below where the girl had aimed. A slight shudder went throughout the suit, though Matty realize it probably wasn't as "lively" as some of the others. Now, all she had to do was find a more active one to have some fun with. Couldn't be too hard, right?
