Claire's birthday had passed about two weeks ago and no answer had been heard from the girl's family on the matter. Oh well, it was of no importance anyway it wasn't like this was anything new. With her father being an unspeakable and her mother working constantly at St. Mungo's hospital, there would be no surprise in finding out they had forgotten their own daughter just turned tweleve. The girl's grandparents had sent the firstie a few galleons and her brother bought Quidditch Throughout the Ages which proved very interesting with all the pictures of Quidditch players zooming in and out of their pictures. If only this was all, the young snake would not be bothered at all. Like she said, it was no big deal that her parents forgot about her birthday again.
Walking down from the owlry, Claire had just finished writting a letter thanking them for the money along with other things that a typical student would write to a parent. But she left one thing out. Claire had not been able to sleep well lately for some strange reason. Normally the firstie slept like a log. Also, she felt very hot from time to time and would break into a sweat but that came after a certain nightmare would pop into her memories. As stubborn as Claire was, she refused to admit she was getting sick or at least coming down with something. Coming back down from the towers, the Slytherin decided to cut through the armour gallery before going back to the dungeon common room.
It had been awhile since the girl strolled though here but there was no need to. But it was still funny to see the moving suits of armour espcially when they scared another kid. However as fast as it started, Claire began to feel fatigued and sweat slowly began to drip from her face. What was going on? Her pace lessened but her breathing quickened. Perhaps the lack of sleep was finally getting to her. Footsteps could be heard approaching but before the tweleve year old could look, her small body fell forward into unconciousness.
