Drew nodded, though he still wasn't very convinced. Slick Rolen had sweet talked his way into the lives of a lot of girls and Drwe really hated to see another girl fall victim. He rubbed at his bumped head, more out of nervousness than pain, not sure what to say to Seanna anymore. She'd date Mike if she wanted to. Hopefully she wouldn't learn the lesson the hard way.

Seanna decided it was time to change the subject and maybe get back to what they were both doing before she had mentioned that she was going out with Mike. "So, maybe we should get back to studying" Seanna said to Drew, going over and picking up her Charms book.
"Are you sure your okay, Drew?" Seanna asked him, noticing that Drew was rubbing his head again and Seanna wasn't sure if talking about Mike gave Drew a headache or if it was because of the fall Drew had.

"Yeah, I'm good," Drew answered, though not very convincingly. The talk about Mike hadn't helped his head any and he was wishing he had never even heard about Seanna and Mike. He grumbled a little to himself out of frustration as he pulled his back pack towards him and pulled out his notebook. "So what are we studying?" he asked her.

"Charms, though I don't if it's better to actually read about Charms or to actually practice Charms" Seanna said to Drew, opening up her Charms book and frowning at the incantations. "And I've missed a lot of classes, so I don't know what Charms I should be learning about" Seanna looked up at Drew, "Could you help me out with that?."

"I think you understand them better if you actually do them and practice them, but that's me," Drew answered, pulling out his textbook and thumbing to one of the harder sections. THey would need to know the theory, sure, but it was the practical most people got stuck on.

Seanna nodded, "Yeah, I think it's better to practice the Charms as well as to learn the theory, what types of Charms do you think they'll be testing us on?" Seanna asked Drew, she had missed so many classes, that Seanna didn't know what Charms she should be reading up on the most.

"Hard ones," Drew answered with a crooked smile before showing her the page he had opened his book to. "I heard that there's a lot of summoning and banishing, but they also do color changes and engorgement charms," he told her. "Raynor spent a lot of time on Patronus charms, but we probably won't see that until the Defence NEWT."

Seanna wrinkled her nose when Drew mentioned what Charms they'll be tested on. "Color changes, I think I all ready know how to do, Engorgement Charms, well, I think I may need practice on them and the Patronus Charm" Seanna looked over the page that Drew had held out to show her, "Erm, I really need to study and practice that one" Seanna said to Drew, now she was really starting to worry, if these were the Charm's that they would be tested on, Seanna was sure to fail.

"Yeah, I really don't think we need the Patronus," Drew assured her, though he would feel pretty bad if he was wrong. He was pretty good at conjuring a coporeal patronus, but knew most of his classmates were still working on it. "Everyone I've talked to says it's a NEWT level charm and not on the OWL. We can practice it if you want to though."

"Maybe it's better that we practice the Patronus Charm, I mean, even if it isn't on the OWL, it's still better to be prepared for a test than unprepared" Seanna said to Drew, feeling like she was unprepared for the OWL'S anyways.

Drew's face broke out in a slow grin. He wasn't as cocky (he hoped) as a lot of people thought he was, but he did really like working on his Patronus.
"So, let's see what you've got so far," he told her, jumping up to sit on one of the tables.

"Okay" Seanna said, standing up and taking her wand out and pointing it down one of the aisle's, "Expecto Patronum" Seanna said, after reading the the incantation from the book and as she watched, Seanna knew she had to practice this certain charm a lot, seeing as how nothing but a puff of silver smoke came from her wand.

Drew frowned a little at her attempt, pretty sure she could do better with a little more focus. "What are you doing before you cast the spell?" he asked. "This isn't one you can just throw on a whim. Really take the time to think it through before you cast it."

"Thinking I was going to fail the OWL's" Seanna said, truthfully, reading the spell again and finding she had to be thinking positive thought's instead of negative thoughts before she could cast the spell. Seanna looked at Drew a bit sheepishly, "I guess that I wasn't thinking happy thought's" Seanna commented, taking another look at the incantation in her Charm's book.

"Not just any happy thought," Drwe told her, leaning back on his elbows. "The best memory you can come up with. Really take the time to get it solidified in your head. Pull up as many details as you can about that memory: sights, smells, sounds, tastes, feelings..."
