Celina had been distracted as class continued to move along. The fact of the matter was that if she hadn't been feeling well before, now that her two closest friends walked in, only nauseated her more. What were they doing there? Obviously it was for class, but didn't they give up on History of Magic because of Griffiths? Oh, her stomach hurt and her head was dizzy. Connor spoke to her slightly, but Celina found herself sinking more into her own chair and away from him, and away from Griffiths slightly as he walked over to them. What happened then was a bit of a blur for Celina was rummaging in her bag for her stuff, trying to clear her thoughts and just sit tight for class. Only an hour an a half... that was it.
Celina just hoped that Drew and Felicity could last that long.... she really didn't want anyone to yell or scream that day. Her stomach couldn't take it.
As Connor sat back down and spoke to her about what she thought, Celina shrugged. Did he mean about what Griffiths was telling them to do, or the fact that Drew and Felicity were in the class? However, looking around, it seemed as if she was the only concerned one... maybe they'd spoken to the professor about everything and made their amends? Celina thought about that some more and almost laughed to herself.... Drew and Felicity weren't like that.... that much about her friends, she did know. "I don't mind..." Celina said softly, thinking about what would be easiest to do that day. She really wasn't feeling up to something hard, or something they hadn't gone over before. "I was interested in the staffs... I think those would be a good starting place," she nodded, slightly sighing trying to calm herself and not look back at Drew and Felicity in slight worry.

Eaden sat in the back of the class. She made sure to be extra early to this one as last time she had to ask a ton of people because she got lost. She was very embarrassed about this. So now when she entered the class she was en minutes early. As she sat there kids filed into the class slowly, filling up the seats in front of her. The only person she had met in this class was Connor, whom she met in the library. She decided against going up and sitting with him.
The professor started the class. Sighing quietly she pulled her seat in, not really wanting to have to sit through this class. As she sighed she let her eyes wander around the class. She noticed something quite odd. The class seemed hesitant about something. The teacher maybe? Eaden looked back at the teacher. He looked harmless enough, not really that threatening. But maybe that was just her. She'd had some evil teachers at Durmstrang so her judgment could be off.
When the teacher told her to find an artifact and a book about it and read she was dumbfounded. Really? Is that all? She thought, scrunching her nose up. This was going to be much more boring then she expected.

"Right." Sophia muttered. Smooth one. She thought to herself. I look stupid already and class has only begun... She put down her quill and made her way to the front of the room. She looked at the artifacts carefully before drawing a sword. She looked at it and found it quite interesting. This looks like a fun artifact. She turned to go back to her seat, wondering why no one else had grabbed anything. She stumbled a bit, realizing the weight of it. She wasn't exactly the strongest person in the world. Her small frame was not made for lifting of any sort, and this sword was certainly testing that.
"Oh no." Sophia realized that she forgot to grab the book that went along with the sword. She grumbled as she turned back around to retrieve it from the crate.

As soon as the words escaped Griffiths' mouth, Felicity's eyes flashed angrily at the man. He hadn't even given her and Drew half a chance to do anything, how were they supposed to continue in a class when he wouldn't teach them? When he wouldn't give them a chance to settle in? Her parents were helping to support his pay check, she had rightfully passed the required exam to continue with the class, and yet he was doing this? It was ridiculous. And pointedly saying he wasn't going to teach she and Drew? Fine, she had no problem with it, she knew the rights she had.
When Drew stood to grab books for them, Felicity started packing her bag again. She wouldn't stay for this, it was ridiculous and she just wouldn't. As the book was placed in front of her, she gave Drew an apologetic look, knowing she was about to lose even more points for her House and stood up. The lioness couldn't deal with it, not right now, not at this time.
"I'm sorry," she whispered softly, shaking her head and finding her way to the door and right out it. This wasn't a good time, and she wasn't bothering with a Professor or a class when it was obvious how horrid the professor was and a brief thought flitted through her mind telling her to go to Raynor, but she knew she wouldn't.

"Felicity..." Drew softly called after the Gryffindor, putting a hand out to stop her, but not forcing her to stay. They had both known Griffiths would act like an ass towards them, but had hoped it would bew something they could ignore. With everything else Felicity was dealing with at the moment, Drew wasn't surprised that the bitchy comment from the man in front had gotten to her. Drew felt it was probably best she left now before the man really started in on them.
The Ravenclaw smirked briefly at the man, not about to let Griffiths have his way by leaving as well. Drew had a right to be there and by Merlin's beard, he was going to stay even if the guy was refusing to actually teach anything. He pulled the second book towards him and opened them both, figuring he could get twice as much information that way.

Xander took out his wand and slowly levitated the books Drew picked up back to the crates, "One rule, no artifacts, no book. And if you have none of both, you fail. If you don't have any intention of doing what a teacher says in his own classroom, better get out." he said, calmly. He wasn't gonna let those two to disobey him in his own classroom and infront of students again. "Get an artifact or leave my class ms. Hjort and Mr. Thornton. You both know better than to disobey a teacher, a head boy and a prefect." he added, eyeing Drew and Felicity. They better get out of this classroom, I'm not putting up with them, especially when I'm sick he thought, then he looked at Connor, Celina and the other Gryffindor girl questioningly. The other girl had already took out her artifact and it was the Roman sword.
"Now, since we are learning Roman wizard. The staffs, swords and healing equipements are more plentiful. Though, there are a few other things in there though. I don't know, after shipping off the other artifacts, I just packed in all the other roman artifacts I have left." he explained, coughing to clear his voice which had cracked for a moment. This wasn't Xander's day and he knew it.

The man was refusing to teach them and was now refusing to let them learn in his class. Drew wasn't surprised. Fortunately, the Ravenclaw had his own history text and he could easily get that out and reads on his own. Drew had a right to be there and was going to stay. He wasn't disturbing the class, he was not defying a professor, he was not doing anything except wanting to learn.
Letting the man take his damned books back, Drew pulled out his own and opened it. Drew wasa fully confident that no matter what grade this man wanted to give him, Drew could still pass the NEWT with flying colors. That was all he really needed.

Sophia could sense hostility radiating in waves between the professor and the Ravenclaw student. It frightened her a little to know that such hatred to be so silent, but she continued delving into her work, determined to make the best of it. She wondered where that certain 'Ms. Hjort' had gone and if she had any intention of returning...she highly doubted it. Whatever could a professor do (an ill professor, at that) to upset two students so immensely?
She eyed the other students to see if any such anger held them hostage, but they seemed fine. She recognized a girl from the Gryffindor dormitory, Eaden, and waved quickly...forgetting she held the sword.
"Oh for the love of Merlin..." She looked down sadly as the sword clanged onto the ground, emitting a metallic ring into the air. She quickly grabbed the tome from the crate and attempted to pick up the sword from the ground.

If Eaden knew anything at this moment it was that she didn't like this teacher. Not one bit. She pushed up and got out of her desk. Her face held no emotion as she got up and walked over to the front of the classroom to get an artifact and a book. She looked at what was up there, her eyes scanning everything. They finally settled on a sword that was covered in rubies and other gems. She found a book that went along with the sword.
She turned back to her desk, sword in hand. For someone of her size she was quite strong. It took her a few seconds of maneuvering to get to her seat and get settled. Looking up she noticed Sophia, her dorm mate waving at her. Giving a smile she waved back, happy to see someone else she knew here. When Sophia dropped the sword Eaden giggled lightly and walked over to her to help her.
She bent down and picked up the sword for her with ease. Giving Sophia a devilish smile she giggled again. "These things are quite heavy. Best not drop anymore. Don't want anyone's feet to get cut off!"

Sophia joined Eaden, laughing at her clumsiness. "Thanks so much!" She gawked for a millisecond, watching in awe as her mate held two, two swords at once. She was flabbergasted. How could someone like Eaden be so buff? "I guess I'll just have to work out more..." She said playfully.
Sophia tossed her hair, swishing her bangs out of her face while taking the book to her table. She returned to Eaden to grab the sword, to grasp it with both hands this time. She thought about what her fellow Gryffindor had said..."These things are quite heavy. Best not drop anymore. Don't want anyone's feet to get cut off!" Sophia was sure that some of the students in the classroom wouldn't mind if the professor was cut down a couple of inches. She quivered at the thought, but then realized that she still had a sword to receive.

Xander looked at his students, no emotion was now showing in his face and the gaunt look of it made it a bit like someone straight from a house full of dementors. He wasn't even paying attention to his students anymore, he just looked down on the table and breathed deep and shaky breaths. It was getting hard for him to stay on focus now, he forgot that he was angry also. All he could feel now was the pain and the constiction of whatever spells and curses were in his wounds that would make him this exhausted. I have to know what spells those were he thought, as he started or tried to breathe normally.
"J..just, g...give....those....e...essays t...tomorrow i...if you c...can't f...finish it." he said with a lot of stuttering, due to the lack of air he was getting now. He then took out his wand and summoned a book from the back of the classroom, when it landed on his table, he started leafing through it. He hoped he could find what they were, they were definitely something they already know, but he forgot what they were.

Sophia jumped back and stared at the professor. His face was twisted in pain, and he looked quite pale. She was scared and didn't know what to do, what to say. She looked around at the classroom, truly alarmed. She rushed up to the professor who was running his hands through a book, trying desperately to find something. She timidly approached him, realizing that she wasn't the calmest when dealing with chaos.
She cleared her throat. "Umm, sir? Do you need anything, sir? Should I get Professor Raynor?"

Drew grummbled to himself about the show going on in the classroom. His first concern was the girls and the sword. Again, the Ravenclaw couldn't help but wonder what kind of idiot Griffiths was to allow students to touch dangerous materials. Granted, it wasn't a dark item, but the girls were absolutely right in their joking-- it could take a foot off if someone wasn't careful.
And then the performance of the man who called himself professor. Drew was usually a very compassionate kind of guy, eager to help, worried about his fellow man, but he couldn't help but feel that the idot man was getting exactly what he deserved. How had Griffiths convinced himself that the school was a safe place for those items when he hadn't even been able to control them. The guy was truly a piece of work.
Drew continued reading his book, but kept an eye on the Gryffindor approaching the man. He quietly hoped she'd go get Raynor and let the Headmistress see first hand what kind of class the man was running. Drew also kept his wand close at hand, just in case. If anything happened to the girl while she was trying to help the dolt, Drew would defintiely have something to say about it.

Xander looked up as he heard one of his students speak, then he saw it was the girl that had been the first to take an artifact. "I'd probably be needing a curse breaker more than the headmistress" he joked, then he shook his head. "No, my dear. Just go on, go back to your essay. I think I can hold on for the whole day." he added. Xander then turned to the other students, "You can take the tomes with you incase you don't finish the essay, just leave the artifacts on your tables when your finished." he said to them. Then he looked back down on his book and started looking through it again.
Where is it... he thought, as he passed by page per page of spells and counter-spells. Xander might not be able to make the next lessons if ever he get's sick, and he didn't know if there was anyone who can substitute for his class if he did. There was also another thing bothering him, Annemarie will get too worried. He didn't want that, and he was sure his students were all staring at him now as he pushed the book away and summoned a second one.

Sophia bounded back to her seat, giving a second glance to the ailing teacher. She sat down, rather confused, as if everyone in that class knew some sort of secret, the reason to his pain, yet no one was willing to do anything. She began to look through her book and tried her best to work through the essay. It wasn't terribly difficult, but it definitely took effort. Sophia began to day-dream, a lovely summer's day by the lake, the wonderful sun, the nonexistent snow...
