If ever a child had expressed a feeling to wish to wear pointy ears, a pointy hat, or have a beard; Today would be the day where such the go-getter could expirience the feeling. For those who had never imagined ever doing such a crazy thing as any of the aforementioned things, it would be an expirience. For upon every desk of the infamous classroom happened to be exactly that. A fake beard, ranging in three different colours (grey, black and brown), a pointy hat, and two large pointy ears, which fit perfectly over any sized human ear - such was the magic of a resizing jynx to make 'one size actually fit all'.
Yet although upon the desks lay an unsuspected surprise, the walls of the classroom were perhaps one of the most curious things within the classroom on that day. Normally covered in painting and things relating to the lesson, today they were covered in what apaeared to be, empty picture frames. The Hufflepuff head of House had today charmed the pictures to keep themselves concealed until he was satisfied they would not give away the plan for the days lesson. Not that one could not guess the topic, but more, he hoped for intelligence on his Second years behalves. They would be revealed all in good time, but until then the Professor was biding his time. Patiently awaiting the coming of more young minds to mould. He enjoyed teaching and hopefully some of them would enjoy learning. In a glass case at the front of the classroom was an interesting collection of coins. Old style Galleons, Sickles, and Knuts lay in small segments of silk, all hidden behind the glasss of the cabnet. Just another clue to the topic of the days lesson.
This particular lesson happened to be a fun one for the final lesson of the year and the second years would hopefully get a kick out of the relaxed attitude of the lesson. Or one could hope that would be the case. The desks of the classroom had once more been repositioned, this time flanking the walls of the classroom, leaving a large gap in the centre of the room. One could only fear the kind of demonstration that was likely to occur in a room such as this one and it was a given that more then one student would attempt to not be seen for the entirity of the lesson. Upon the professors head sat what looked like a rather mishapen tea cozy. Brightly coloured with a large green baubel hanging from the top. It happened to not have a thing to do with the lesson at hand, Professor Atwood had just decided he liked it. Where was the fun in wearing a crazy hat each day if you weren't able to throw people off your trail occasionally?
Professor Atwood stood in the centre of the classroom, looking much like a sheep in a herd of cow. His back faced the intriguing black curtain which blocked from view the props and equipment which generally was used for historture sessions classes and his eyes darted around the classroom checking his decorating. The stage was set and now all that was needed was the actors.
