Vanessa dropped her things off in her dorm (very awkwardly mind you, as it took her forever to remember the password and she learned quickly that things in Hogwarts won't move just because you yell at them) before actually making her way to the Hospital Wing to get wrist checked out. The pain wasn't so intense anymore, so she figured a little pit-stop wasn't going to kill her. How wrong was she.
On the way to the Wing, Nessa stopped to take an actual, close look at her wrist. It was now a rather putrid shade of green and purple, and the bone that usual stuck up slightly on most normal people was now elevated to an alarming height. Maybe there was something a little more wrong that she had originally thought. "This is not good...," Nessa muttered to herself as she finally stood outside the doors of the Hospital Wing. Determined to do it by herself (not that help was around anyways) Nessa creaked open the door and stepped in, now holding her wrist straight so it wasn't dangling anymore.
"Hello?" she called out, hoping to find the nurse or someone that could help her bustling about. It seemed empty and Nessa sighed. Her wrist began to throb again, for some unknown reason, and she groaned, more out of frustration than anything else. Making herself at home, Vanessa struggled over to a bed and sat down, waiting for some one with the ability of healing her to come to her rescue.

Noah, who was resting in bed, noticed that Vanessa coming in. He sat up slowly and gave the girl a lopsided smile. He was visiting the Hospital Wing with a broken arm. He had heard some of the commentary from the Pitch and knew that Vanessa would be visiting. He felt kind of foolish because he was only in hospital robes.
"Hello, you're Harrison, right?" he asked. He had heard about her attempted save for the Hufflepuffs. He was rooting for Ravenclaw, but admired her for her effort.

Vanessa jumped slightly at the sudden voice. She hadn't even seen anyone else in there when she came in, so the sudden noise scared the hell out of her. "Oh sorry, I didn't even see you were in here," she apologized, turning around to look at the owner of the mystery voice. She she turned, her eyes landed on a boy, decked out in a hospital robes. Nessa flashed him a smile and replied. "Yeah, that's me. Well, Vanessa actually. Nessa for short," she said, still smiling. She was glad she had a someone to talk to now and the fact that he was ultra cute just added to the prize.
"Sorry, I don't know you're name. What is it?" she questioned, leaning back in the propped up bed.

Noah smiled at her, and rubbed the back of his head slightly. He had a habit of calling everyone he knew by their last names. It was something that his father made him grow up on. He nodded at her, "Vanessa, I'll remember that," he would store that in his mind for the time being.
"Oh," he offered his good hand to shake hers. "The name's Tuesday-- Noah Tuesday, pleased to meet you," he said to her, smiling still. "I'm new here, but I still managed to get hurt on the first week," he pointed to his healing left arm.
"I heard about your last save, that was absolutely amazing," he said honestly. "Pity that you had to get out though. Was this your first game?"

It was a shame that he gave her his right hand, as it was her right hand that was injured. So, not wanting to be rude she stuck out her left hand and shook his, somewhat awkwardly. She chuckled at herself and turned slightly pink.
"Pleasure to meet you, Noah," Nessa replied with a nod. Then he said something about hearing the commentary from the pitch and heard about her "amazing" save. It wasn't that spectacular, but she felt her cheeks turn even more pink. "Thanks," she said quietly, "But it wasn't that great. And yeah, it was my first game. At least I saved the Quaffle though." Vanessa winked at Noah and chuckled again.
Looking at him arm, Nessa wondered what had happened. "What about you? What's your story?" she asked, pointing to his arm.

Noah, being accostumed to awkwardness took the strange handshake as an interesting way to become acquainted with someone. Why did people shake hands anyway? What did it even mean? Oh, well-- he'd ponder about that later.
"Of course it was! You broke your wrist for it after all," he nodded. He thought that people who worked hard to keep up the team were true players of Quidditch. When she asked about his arm, he blushed slightly.
"Well-- it's not as cool as me diving to save a quaffle... but er- well... I fell down the stairs. Tricky, that trick step on the top stair." he shrugged. "Ah, I just need to get used to Hogwarts-- that's all,"

Nessa gave him a sympathetic look and couldn't help but giggle slightly. He was so cute, the way he answered her, but she couldn't help feeling bad for him. Nessa was a major klutz, falling over things that weren't actually there, or sometimes even a sharp blade of grass. Those darn things just popped up on her. Still, she felt Noah's pain.
"Ah, no worries. I fall over my own feel most of the time. Rather difficult, that whole concept of putting one foot in front of the other," said Vanessa with another wink, "Hogwarts is a tricky place. I'm just starting to get the hang on it. I've learned that nothing in this castle will move just because you yell at it, so don't try."

"Talk about it," he said, groaning a bit. He never thought of himself as clumsy, but being at Hogwarts told him otherwise. He had fallen at least three times a day since he arrived at Hogwarts. He rarely ever fell, but Hogwarts was so confusing as it always moved. That trick step was bound to move to the third floor or something. How did anyone get around? Reckon I'd get used to it...
"Yes, I've tried that too. Turns out that the Banshee of Bath is immune to the concerned shouts of Tuesday." he said shaking his head. "Including the Fat Lady! I had to spend a night outside the common room because she wouldn't open the door for me on my first night. Not a better way to start a new year, eh?" he said sarcastically.
"Don't get me wrong, I really like it here at Hogwarts." he said sincerely. The people here were awfully friendly, but some of the girls scared him. "How long have you been here? Since first year?"

"No, I just came this year actually," Nessa replied, sort of absent mindedly. She realized she was staring at Noah, and quickly snapped her attention back to reality. "I was at Beauxbatons before I came here," Vanessa said, a French accent coming through as she said 'Beauxbatons'. For some reason, the accent was always present when she said the name of her former school. It was odd...
"What year are you in?" she asked. He looked to be about her age, possibly a little younger. He had a very boyish look to him, but it was cute and could mask his real age.

"Oh? Beauxbatons? My oldest sister Guinevere went there as an exchange student for a while. She really liked it there, but she said some of the girls could be quite vicious," he grinned at her boyishly, thinking about his sister Gwen. Gwen was always the very daring and determined one. In fact... Vanessa reminded him a lot of Gwen-- the way they put forth 200% effort.
"I'm 15, turning 16 in a few weeks," he said, nodding at her. "Mum says that everyone thinks I look 18 or so because I'm so tall. Though my sisters say that I look 2..." he sighed. "So I'm a 5th year. What about you? Y toi?" he rubbed the back of his head and raised an eyebrow.
"Er... my French sucks, sorry. Is that right? Y toi? Or was it ce vous?" he shrugged. Like the average boy, he only knew a few words here and there.

"Guinevere...hmm, when was she there?" Vanessa asked. The name sounded familiar, but she couldn't quite remember if she'd seen her or not, "And I'm 6th year. Just turned 16."
"Et toi," Nessa replied with a chuckle, "or et vous, depending on who you're talking to. 'Toi' is for your friends, 'vous' is for adult and important people." Vanessa winked at him and chuckled again. Noah was really a cutie. Nessa couldn't help but chuckle as he tried to speak French. She wasn't laughing at him, but she still found it kind of funny.

" Hm, must get that fixed... " Chris muttered to himself on his way to the hospital wing. He was talking about his watch, which had just stopped ticking. Usually Chris was one to feel a little lost without knowing the time, it was one of his pet peeves. As he walked into the infirmary he saw a new student there, already with one of the previous patients, who was resting up before he could go back to civilization, as Chris called the castle compared to the imfirmary. " Hello. " He said to the girl and noticed the color of her wrist. " I'll be back. " He told them and went into the office, lay his watch on one of the chairs, and walked back out. " What happened? " Chris asked.

Vanessa looked up when a man entered the Wing. She hadn't met him before, but she just guessed he was one of the nurses. Nessa smiled at him and waited for him to come back when he said he would be in a second. While he was gone, Nessa rolled up the sleeve of her robes so he could get a look at her wrist. When he came back in and asked what happened, Vanessa sighed. She'd have to start her story all over again.
"Well, I was blocking the Quaffle, sir, and I stopped it, but I hit my wrist off the goal post and it made a uhh...rather unusual cracking noise," she explained, holding it up for him to see. It had swelled a rather large amount since the original hit, and Nessa winced, more out of the sight of her fat wrist than anything else.

" Hm, game of Quidditch. Did you win? " Chris asked as he examind her wrist, touching gingerly here and there, trying to not hurt her as much as possible. " Unusual cracking noised aren't good.... " He muttered, then asked, " Can you move it at all? " He rolled his own wrist and asked her if she coudl do the same. If she could not, then it was a good indicator that she had broken her wrist, easy to fix, but she might want to wear a wrist brace while playing Quidditch or doing physical activity that might strain it.

"Not too sure. I think the game's still on, actually," Nessa replied, trying to see out the window. All she could see was the edge of the stadium, and there wasn't any noise coming from it anymore. Maybe the match was over. She'd have to find out what happened later.
Nessa groaned slightly when he asked her if she could move her wrist. The previous attempts of trying to move it hadn't been successful, so she was pretty sure this one wouldn't be either. Still, she had to try. Attempting to roll it, it cracked again and shot a searing pain all the way up her arm. With a sharp intake of breath, signaling pain, Vanessa stopped trying to move it. "No, sir," she replied through gritted teeth, "Can't move it."
