(Hehehehe hope ya love the thread title Britt)
Mike walked through the First Floor towards the hospital wing, during their trip up, it seemed as though Britt had regained conciousness and decided to get as close to him as she could....but no doubt that was probably because she was soaked to the bone.
As they reached the door for the Hospital wing, Mike pushed it out before yelling
"SOMEONE HELP ME"

((Love it. ;D))
Brittany lightened the clench that she had around Mike's neck as they entered the warmer air of the castle. Her breathing was shaky and she had the most horrible nauseous feeling swimming around in her stomach. "Please, please let me not vomit on him..." The girl thought as he began to walk up the stairs to the first floor where the Hospital Wing was located. The rocking movement of his walk was not helping. He held her close to his body, gingerly, supporting all of her weight with just his arms - it didn't seem to bother him. It was as if she weighed ten pounds instead of a hundred and ten.
At the shouting she flinched and clutched even closer to him, if that was possible. The sudden loudness of his voice slicing through the silence had startled her and she couldn't have helped but jump. She hated feeling this pathetic but there was absolutely nothing she could do about it now. A sudden wave of sleepiness struck her and there was a voice telling her if she went to sleep everything would be all better. With this Brittany began to drift again, but this time it would not be good.

Mike looked down at Britt and saw her eyes start to close, he shook her slightly, she couldn't go back to sleep, if there was one thing he did know, he couldn't let her sleep.
"BRITT, STAY AWAKE!!"
He yelled hoping it would knock her back awake, he made his way over to an empty bed and lent down to put her down on it.

Ouch. The yelling did the trick. Her eyes were wide open and she gave a frightened jump once more. Why did he have to have so loud of a voice? Brittany thought as she felt the ground return to her. Soon enough she realized that this wasn't the ground it was a bed. A soft bed that was quite comforting in everyway. It didn't move or rock or make any motion. This certainly calmed her stomach down and the dizziness that she had felt earlier seemed to disappear too.
Straining to keep her eyes open now, she looked to Mike's face and saw the concerned glare in his eyes. Somehow, she was comforted by the fact that he cared so much about her. Even if it was him that had put her in this state. She wasn't thinking of that at the moment. All she could think of was why he cared and when would the pain in her head stop.

Mike for some reason reached up and stroked her cheek and smiled at her, he really did care for her, more than she would ever know.
"It'll be all right Britt, just relax and stay awake, please"
He said to her in a soft calming voice

Chris was dozing in the shared office with the door closed when he heard yelling. His eyes opened immediantly and he jumped up, thinking it was an emergency if there was so much yelling... He felt groggy and dizzy at the same time but steadied himself and shook his head slightly. Making his way out into the infirmary, Chris saw two of the older students, one on the bed, one seeming to be leaning over her. " What happened? " He asked quickly, doing a quick check of the vitals without doing anything yet, he saw that her eyes were open which was a good sign. He turned to the boy, waiting impatiently for an answer.

Mike turned to the man and smiled graciously, finally someone could help Britt out, better than he had.
"She got hit by a rock in the head, when we were swimming in the lake"
He didn't think the Nurse needed to know who threw the rock, so he kept that information out of the question, and personally he wouldn't of been suprised if they were given a lecture about being out of bed that late at night AND swimming in the lake.

Oh how easy it would be to just let them close. Just for a moment maybe no body would notice. These thoughts swirled around in Brittany's broken head and she wanted to just give in. It was so hard to keep her eyes open. Then, she heard another person's voice strike through the silence. As the man checked her vitals, she laid completely still and didn't attempt to make it easier on the man. Hearing Mike explain what happened she had nothing to do but wait for the man to do something. She would be up for anything right now, as long as it didn't require movement, to just get rid of the pain in her head.
An unsettling dizziness swept through again she clutched the side of the bed with her hand. "Make it stop..." Brittany called out weakly, not having enough strength to get it above a murmur.

Chris nodded as the boy explained something about being hit in the head with a rock. He just guessed that the students had been swimming and the girl slipped or something. He didn't really wait for answers. He could tell that the girl wasn't just going to ' get better ' on her own. Chris thought quickly and then said, " Alright. " To her pleas, he reached into his pocket and grabbed out his wand, performing a quick spell to keep the girl's pain at ease. Chris glanced back at the boy before moving over to see if the girl's head was ok, wherever she had been hit by the rock.

(( Prier thread in case you haven't seen it...)) As the pain numbed at her request, she eased her clutch on the bedside. A thankful sigh escaped Brittany's lips as she was able to blink her eyes open again. Though she found it a bit hard to think clearly, which was probably a side-effect of the spell that the man had performed. Not knowing what was going on, she moved the hand that was holding the side of the bed to Mike's hand. She wanted something to become familiar to her and the closest thing was Mike. Swelling had started to take place on her right temple where the rock had struck. It was a raised circle around what looked like a semi-deep one inch gash. There was blood dried to the right side of her face and there was still some bleeding coming from the scrape. She looked a true fright with the blood and the unusual paleness of her face. It barely even looked like Brittany anymore.

Mike winced slightly as he saw the swelling on Britt's temple....and then he saw the gash, and swallowed hard. What had he done...but before he could begin the guilt trip, Britt took his hand in her own.
He looked at her and smiled, his thumb rubbing the back of her hand softly. It felt unusually good.
"It's gonna be alright Britt"

Chris turned away once more, grabbing a cloth and some water. He gently cleaned the blood away so he could see just the gash itself. Once the blood was cleared away, Chris looked at the gash and grabbed his wand once more. He didn't want this visit to be too long, and as the patient seemed to be unconcious or close to it, he figured that he would just patch her up. " Èåñáðåýóôå. " He muttered under his breath, the tip of his wand lightly touching the girl's temple. It appeared to be healing itself from the spell, but one couldn't be sure. Healing was sometimes a mystery.
