She had become lost far too many times, and it was when she was only slightly lost, that she thought about everything but becoming un-lost until she was completely lost. Most confusing, and bothersome indeed.
And so, there she was, for the first time in awhile, not lost physically, but lost mentally, something thinking couldn't fix. She had so much on her mind, from lessons, to how to not embarrass herself again, to the view from the current window. All were random thoughts of their respective moments, but, she didn't know which to begin with.
Sighing she hoisted herself up into the next windowsill and looked out across the landscape. It was still the same, snow covered, the occasional tree, but why couldn't one's mind be that repetitive? Or, rather, that simple to comprehend?
Who held the answer to that, yet another, question?

"It's beautiful isn't it?" Lily asked quietly. She had been standing behind Lianna for a few minutes before she said that. Snow was always a beautiful thing to her. Every single snowfall everything was so white and pure.
((So I helped make sure this wasn't confusing I'm so posting))

Snapped from her reverie by the girl who had made a silent approach, Lianna nearly tumbled backward from the sill be managed to regain herself just short of such. Her mind hadn't been on the grounds specifically, but it was a place of conversation to start. She hadn't really talked to the girl in awhile. And even when she had, it hadn't been for long enough to find a commonality between them.
"It..it is, more fun to play in though." She countered with a small smile. She wasn't sure exactly how long she had been there, but as far as she knew she had kept her thoughts to herself.

"I'd rather just look at it," Lily said. "I've never much been one for the cold and wet aspect of it. But I love it's beauty. Everything looks calm and right and pure and untouched and I think I'd like to keep it that way."

"So...are you saying you've never really played in snow?" Lianna inquired, her eyes lighting up for their brief moment of wonderment. Who hadn't played in snow, made a snow angel, or...thrown a piece of ice through a window when it was supposed to be a snowball? What a waste of winters...
Her head was tilted to the side as she hopped out of the window and landed in a rather, uncomfortable, but dealable position. Hauling herself to her feet she waited for the girl's reply.

"Not really," Lily said. "I never wanted to ruin that sense about it. To me it always seemed to beautiful to play in." She was mesmerized by its beauty for a second before she shook her head. "What's really beautiful is watching the sun rise up on fresh, new snow from the night before."

"No...thats blinding..." She countered weakly, but truthfully. So, this girl, who was a good three perhaps more, years her elder, had never really played in snow. That was a first time hearing for her. A first time hearing that caused her to giggle briefly.
This was, most puzzling however, for now she was uncertain as to how the girl would react should she tamper with the, beautiful, grounds that lay outside.

Lily shook her head. "It's all about the angle you look at it from. You have to be sitting in the right exact spot and it won't reflect as much. Even if it does reflect everything sparkles so gorgeously. I absolutely love sunsets and sunrises snow or no snow."

"No, thats definitely blinding." She claimed defiantly, hardly willing to back down from her views. It was blinding, white, and very blinding, angles had nothing to do with it. However the girl kept right on talking about sunrises, sunsets. Why not cover the noonday while we're at it?
"Oh I do too, just, I like messing with the snow more..." She claimed with a small smile. Never had a snowball fight...what kind of child was this?

Lily shook her head. She muttered a comment under her breath about weird firsties. They just never would learn would then. Then again, Lily's childhood really wasn't what one would call normal. So, it was perfectly normal, that someone not normal, would never have played in the snow.

Carter had been trying to find his way around the castle when he came upon two girls around a windowsill just talking about snow. He didn't catch the beginning of the conversation. Just enough to know they were talking about snow, because of what the smaller girl said. For some reason he decided to give his input without even waiting to see if it was wanted.
"Who doesn't like messing in the snow?"

"Apparantly her..." The first year replied as she craned her head to see the boy who'd spoken from the other side of Lily. She'd never seen him before, but then again, she'd never met alot of the students before. He seemed abuot her age, perhaps a year or two older, but close enough to have some sort of possible interest in a decent snowball fight.
Oh the possabilities.

Carter looked over at the older girl to whom the younger had referred. He found it rather strange the she had never played in the snow before. Carter had never met anyone who wasn't the least interested in going out and having fun in the snow. Girls!
"So you've never played in it not once. Ever?!" Carter was still indisbelief.

Lily shrugged. "Not ever." She said. "It's not the kind of thing I would have done." And also her writer says woah this thread is old. "I just, it never occured to me that was what the snow was for I suppose." She shrugged again.
