Well with the librarian off to find somebody of more authority he was really clear to go. He shed his uniform, kicked off his shoes and socks and pulled his shirt up over his head before the girl in the boat could reply and set them neatly on the ground. “Last wagers people! Odd ten to one I’ll make it! Betting on who gets the food I bring back!” He called in a showman’s voice carefully looking at the swamp and wondering if he could fill the boat with slime or sink it on his way to the other side. Yes he could. He grinned.

The boy wouldn't get very far, though. Ryder, who was not stupid enough to leave things to continue as he whimped off to find someone with more authority, had pounced quickly down the stairs just in time to wrap a large hand around the boy's arm.
"I think not," he growled, pulling Celtic back. "Until you've proved yourself in the Dark Swamp Creature Marathon, you're to sit down on those steps and not make a move. The rest of you, on the steps, too, especially you Diablo."

Reina was starting to bring the back to Krissy so she could climb aboard when she saw Celtic, a gryffindor she had yet to meet. Reina nodded her head at the boy wondering what she would do when he realized he couldn't swim across. The gators and snakes were sure to swamp, no pun intended, him.
Reina had already picked up Krissy and was already zipping through the swamp to the other side when she heard the voice of a staff member. Reina looked up and tried to jump off her boat, but it was too late. Reina tried to give Drew his pants without anyone noticing while she brought the boat closer to shore. Speaking to Krissy and Drew.
"I don't know what's wrong with me. You both can make a run for it while I head back. He especially asked for me. You have 10 seconds to get off."
Reina turned so that she was hopefully blocking the two passengers on her boat. Reina knew there was no way she could hide Drew he was too tall, but maybe Krissy. Prefects had to look out for eachother and though Krissy was no longer Reina didn't know that. Reina called from the other side of the swamp to the librarian.
"Yes, Mr. Hailey, how can I help you?"

Krissy was in the boat moving away from Pat and the awkward questions that she knew were coming. She also knew she would have to face them later, but still.. They reached the other side when Krissy heard the voice of the male professor. Krissy immediately regretted leaving her shirt on the other side.Luckily though she was now on the side of the hufflepuff common room.
Krissy heard what Reina said about escaping. She had 10 seconds to decide, she considered her options very quickly. She didn't exactly wanna leave Pat and let him get in all the trouble, but then again he wasn't likely to get in any, exspecially seeing as he was still fully clothed. It was a male professor, and Krissy was only in her bra, she wasn't sure if she wanted a male professor to see her without a shirt one. She also didn't particulary wanna face Pat again right away, she had left in a hurry and she knew he still had questions he wanted to ask her. She would catch up with him later.
Krissy made her decision as Reina spoke back to the professor. Krissy jumped off the boat quickly. She knew now she could run back to the hufflepuff common room and get a new shirt. And anyway, it would be a perfectely liable excuse later on, that she didn't have a shirt and wanted to get one, thats if he ever found out she was even in the boat. She knew none of the others would rat her out.
"Thanks" she whispered to Reina, giving her a smile.

As soon as Drew heard the professor's voice, his first instinct was to pull of his shirt and toss it at Krissy. The only problem was, then he'd be shirt and pantless. Not a viable option.
With a quick look around and feeling more like a rabbit caught in a trap than anything else, he jumped off the boat, wondering where he could run to.

Pat was left very confused when Krissy had gotten into the boat and sailed to the other side. Aside from Krissy taking her shirt off, she had been injured somehow. Pat was more than a little concerned about what had happened to her, but that could wait for later; after all, Mr. Hailey had just arrived on the scene. Oh, crap, Pat thought, in spite of himself. Pat knew it was very unlikely he himself would get in trouble; he hadn't made the swamp, he still had his pants on, and he was a prefect besides. He was more worried about Drew and Krissy, especially Krissy, getting in trouble. In any case, he bent down and picked up Krissy's shirt, which she had left behind, along with her robes he still had, and stood still, looking at Hailey, wondering just what he would do.

Reina watched her two 'friends' get off the boat and she nodded, she would have made the same decision. Reina roared her boat back to the shore where Pat, Celtic, and the Prof. were now standing. Reina tapped her foot in impatient. There was no way Reina could get blamed for this. There was simply no proof and Reina was very confident.

Akina walked up the last steps to see a young girl pull away in a boat and a shirtless child standing next to a pantless child. Akina blinked for all of two seconds before she whipped out her wand and conjured two blankets. Handing them to the two ill-dressed students Akina looked past them to the adult on the other side of the shore. "WHAT IN MERLIN'S NAME IS GOING ON HERE?"
Akina made a row of large stepping stones from her part of the swamp to the other side and gestured for the two students to walk across. "Go ahead. These stones are not wet nor slimey. You both should be able to cross without falling or I could always petrify you and float you across your choice."

Given the options, Drew prefered to meet his doom with Professor Hailey on the other side on his own too feet. With a mumbled curse and a slump of the shoulders, he took the steps back to the other side. Okay, so he had been caught with his pants down... literally. At least that was it. No big deal, right?

Arianna followed the librarian back down the stairs, halting only mid-way down them. She wanted to see what sort of trouble Reina would get. The girl tended to somehow get away with too many things. She also found it rather entertaining to see the others standing in their underwear. Sure, it might not be something she should be thinking about her friends, but she couldn't help it.

Reina turned to see Drew and Krissy coming back with a ministry worker right behind them. Reina shrugged. She knew Krissy and Drew well enough to know that they knew she would save her own hide than theirs. They were on their own.
"What is this about? It's lunch time and some of us are hungry and want to get some food!"

Krissy was grateful to have been handed a blanket. She wrapped it around her shoulders quickly. The less time she had to spend in front of an adult while standing in her bra the better, but at least it was a female adult and not a male. She jumped abckwards though at the womans exclaimation. It wasn't quite what she had expected, but then again, she didn't know what she had expected. She wasn't very impressed though when the stones appeared and she was instructed to go back towards the awaiting doom.
But she too, given the options and her strong hatred against magic being used on her began to follow Drew accross the stones. Problem was, Krissy was a clutz. Half way accross the stones in the miffle of the swamp Krissy tripped on the blanket that she had firmly wrapped around her shoulders. This sudden jerking of her body sent her flying head first into the swamp. She just managed, somehow, to get her head back out from under the slush that probably should have been water. She was covered in the stuff, and was sinking once more. She struggeled to keep herself above the surface of the swamp.

Drew saw Krissy fall and turned around immediately, held his hand out for her to grab. He was between klutzy phases at the moment and much bigger than Krissy. he doubted she could pull him in before he managed to pull her out. "Grab on. I got you," he told her, reaching a long arm out to her.

Krissy was blinking rapidly to try and get some of the sludge out of her eyes, knowing if she used her hands to do it she would sink. At the same time she felt something slither around her ankle. But she heard Drew's call and throught the bluryness of her eyes could see his hand she suddenly reached up and grabbed it hoping that he would definately be able to get her out of the swamp. she knew he was bigger than her so there was quite a good chance that he could. She spluttered trying to get some of the slime away from her mouth. She didn't speak at this moment as she feared if she opened her mouth she'd probably end underneath the surface once more.

Akina stepped lithely beside Drew and wrapped her hand around Drew's and Krissy and pulled. The swamp was done pretty well and it seemed the water didn't want to give the girl up. Akina widened her stance and pulled harder slowly pulling the child out of the water. Akina turned her face away the girl smelled as foul as the swamp.
"Who did this?" Akina didn't mean for her voice to sound so full of admiration instead of admonishment. Akina cleared her throat and purposely made her voice hard. "Who dare create something that could kill someone like this!"
Akina stood to her full height towering over Drew by two inches and looking down at the rest of student body and the staff member.
{I assume Drew you aren't over 6'3."
