This wasn't really going to be a DADA lesson, nor was it going to be a dueling lesson like last year. This was only going to be a lesson to learn how to dispel weapons out of a opponent's hand. This is was really going to be a exciting lesson, but it was going to be a hard one. The students may think of the weapon corny, but it was not going to be at all, as it may save their lives one day. It was something they needed to learn, as any other Charms student learned as well.
The desks were clean, and ready for the students. Professor Snow started to read as he waited for the students.

Great... Charms. One of his very worst classes. Of course, Jeremy had difficulty with any class that required a wand. He had managed to fake his way through the previous year, claiming that various mishaps had befallen that piece of wood that was precious to most wizards but was the bane of his existence. Jeremy's other trick was to just pretend he had done the lesson and blend in with the other students. That had all worked until the test during which he had "forgotten" his wand and then of course, blamed his lack of success on the fact that he had used a borrowed one.
The small Ravenclaw wasn't sure how long he could get away with excuses this year, but he was willing to try. He slunk into the room and took a seat, avoiding all eye contact and hiding behind his book until the lesson started.

This class was interesting enough to keep Claire awake. Probably she would consider this her number three class without mentioning what the others were. Wandwork was definatly something the young snake wanted to improve on after what happened last year in the great hall. Of course, only being a firstie then there wasn't anything she could really do with a wand. Maybe with some luck Claire could learn some really useful spells.
"Morning Professor." Claire greeted cheerfully as she came into the room and took a seat. That one boy, Jeremy was already sitting in his seat absorbed in a book. It looked better not so disturb him otherwise he might snap at her again. Like she needed a repeat of that right?
