Emeric gave a slow nod of his head, agreeing that there was indeed ' a number in there, somewhere. ' His full name was Emeric Evan Troy the Third, overall a bit of a mouthful. " What's your real name, Jax? " He asked, figuring that the name ' Jax ' was just short for something. He was curious, but didn't care too much as to venture a guess.
Emeric's only reaction to the girl's next comment was to raise his brows slightly. He felt extremely childish to be talking about things as stupid as cooties. He once again found himself shaking his head at the girl's antics. She was entertaining, though. " And what makes you so special that you know how to deal better? " He asked, looking the girl over. Sure, they were just messing around because there was nothing else to do, but it was still fun to jest about stupid things.
Her look of smugness surprised the Slytherin, but her comment didn't really. " Oh yeah, how's that? "

Jax tried not to groan as the kid asked for her full name. It was gross, she didn't like it, and she always was afraid that if she gave it out, someone would call her by it. The person she ever let call her anything else was Ari, but that was different. Ari was her capt'n forever. Knew and believed in her through and through. For all Jax was considered, Ari could call her anything and she wouldn't have cared. "Jacquelyn Monique Chaput," she said softly, her french accent coming through thicker as she said her name. Her native tongue was french, but she spoke English well enough. "Jax is better though," she said, looking at Emeric as if daring him to call her by her long name.
And what makes you so special that you know how to deal better?
That was a good question, and one that Jax was unprepared for. Any time now, the bell could ring and save her sorry behind from all of the answers she had to start dishing out to this kid. So, what was going on? Thinking she smirked, figuring out what did make her so special. Snake, the fact that she understood her so well and so on... but that was a different sort of special, and not one that made her better than the other girls. "Because," Jax started, shrugging her shoulders. "I'm talented in something called 'self-control' when it comes to guys and why they make girls go nuts." It was true, there was something about guys that just turned Jax the other way when it came to fancying them. She'd call it talent, but she knew it was something else.
"You can't tell?" Jax asked almost taken aback. She was joking, and she hoped that Emeric was smart enough to see that, but from the way he was dishing questions he seemed to be somewhat clever. "Dang..." she paused shaking her head and crossing her arms over her chest as if she were highly offended. "You'll just have to hang out with me more I guess to see. I'm telling ya,... I'm way cooler than most." Jax laughed at her avoidance of the question but seriously, how could one rate coolness without experiencing it? That was impossible.

Charms was Tallulah's first class after lunch and she couldn't be happier. This was one of her favorite classes. She loved the fact that there was only one way to do a charm and if you messed it up you might get a face full of something ugly. When at Beauxbaton she was very good at charms. She always ennunciated correctly and never got a face of the aformentioned ugly. While on her way up she got a little lost, so like the girl she was she found the boy who was staring at her the most and asked him to show her to her Charms class. He was all too happy to help.
He brought her right outside of the classroom. She turned to him and gave him a smile and a wink. As she turned away she rolled her eyes, walking away as fast as possible. Entering the classroom she noticed it was quite filled. She walked into class slowly, trying to see the faced of everyone there. She noticed Emeric, the only person here she considered a friend. With a smirk she walked over to him, sitting on the other side of him. "It seems we also have Charms together," She gave him a seductive smile. She then noticed the girl sitting on the other side of him. She was pretty, in a very athletic way. Something Tallulah never was or would be. She gave the girl a smile and said, "I'm Tallulah."

Jax didn't know what to think about the next person who sat with them. She wasn't giggly, or bubbly, and in a way very pretty in a fatally poisonous serpent kind of way. Jax didn't know what to think of her, and as she raised an eyebrow, the girl noticed her and flashed her a smile as well. Jax was half tempted to tell her that the girly girls were sitting on the other side of the room.
I'm Tallulah
And with that name, she almost couldn't resist. "Jax, charmed I'm sure. I must warn you though, if you're a rambling, bubbly idiot... then your seats over there." Jax smirked as she joked around with the girl and snickered slightly. "Emeric will tell ya," Jax said leaning back in her chair again. "We just had that discussion."

Tallulah turned, looking to where Jax was telling her. Her eyes scanned over the mass of girls all smiling and chatting about whos dating who and what is in style. She turned back to face Jax, rolling her eyes. "I'd rather be caught doing magic in front of Muggles then with any of them." A small smirk appeared on her lips as she laughed lightly.
Tallulah pulled her chair in, fixing her skirt while doing it. She may not be a bumbling girl but she wasn't a boy. She liked to be pretty. Her eyes went again to the group of girls in the corner. They were all smiles, all grinning like idiots. She turned back to Jax. "Are they always like that?"

Okay, seems the Fourth and Fifth Years were most ethusastic today more than they were last time. As the bell rang, the door shut, where people knew that the class has started. He cleared his thoart and went infront of his desks. "So? Anyone guessing why we have apples on our desks?" he asked. Ready to give some extra points to whoever had guessed this. He liked giving away points. But, many of the Gryffindors weren't as talking as last year. They were more giving. But, hopefully they were make a U-Turn later.
((Class has started!))

Emeric nodded with a slight smile as he listened to Jax tell him of her full name, with a french accent as well. He guessed that the girl was originally from France. He wondered how on earth she had landed here when she could have gone to Beauxbatons. ' Jax is better though. ' Emeric chuckled at the girl's saying this, mentioning, " I thought you might say that. " It made more sense that the girl preferred the name Jax. It fit her.
' I'm talented in something called 'self-control' when it comes to guys and why they make girls go nuts. ' Emeric couldn't help but ponder over her words as he eyed the girl over curiously. She was pretty, but not in an exact way he could describe. Self control? Or something. " Well, good for you then. Maybe it means you won't turn into a giggling bumbling girly girl you seem to despise so much. " Jax hadn't expressed that she despised the giggly girly girls, really, but she had made fun of them enough for Emeric to assume. Even if he was wrong, he didn't care so much.
Her joking tone made Emeric laugh again as she talked about how he would have to hang out with her to find out her coolness. Emeric's eyes glanced to the front of the room as he noticed another person joining them. Tal. His grin at Jax slowly turned into a smirk at the appearance of the older Slytherin. ' It seems we also have Charms together. ' Emeric nodded his head, watching as Tal took the seat next to him. " It would appear so. " He said, looking the girl over just as he heard Jax talking to Tal, introducing herself and such. He didn't know if he would describe Tal as a rambling, bubbly idiot... more like a vindictive, manipulative charmer. She knew how to work people most of the time. " 'Tis true, love. " He said with a grin at Jax. His eyes finally landed on Professor Snow as the man began talking to them.

Jax snorted nodding at Emeric’s mention of her name. He should have thought she’d say that, for anyone who even met her could see that she was more of a ‘Jax’ then a Jacquelyn. She crossed her arms and at his mention of not turning into one of the girls across the room, she could only agree. “Yea, you’ve got that right.” It wasn’t that she despised them, per say, for one was on her quidditch team and others just were… well, Jax didn’t even bother. They were the type of girls who would call her names and make fun of her in her old school. She really didn’t need that from anyone, especially now that she was in fact with someone. Again, Jax looked for Snake as she should have been in that class, but was nowhere in sight.
“Yea, mostly,” Jax shrugged as Tallulah asked if the girls were always like that on the other side of the room. If it wasn’t guys, it was hair color, or clothes. Jax looked over, making a note to herself that she always preferred girls with natural hair color, her eyes slightly lingering on Matty for brief seconds before turning her gaze back at the Slytherin boy and the other girl. “So, I’m assuming then you two are in the same house then?” Jax asked. Anymore, she wasn’t surprised that she was hanging out with the Slytherins more than even the people in her own house… again, wrong house sorting obviously.
Professor Snow began class and Jax looked forward as the man asked about the apples on their desks. Smirking, Jax had the greatest question response for the man just pop into her head. Raising her hand, she called out, “Are we playing Doctor today?” Jax snorted, stifling her own giggle as she knew she was being fresh.
“That’s how the saying goes right… an apple a day keeps the doctor away?” she asked looking at the two she sat with and grinning ear to ear. She was half blood, this would prove it, and frankly Jax didn’t care. There was more to life than blood, and right now... it was more amusing.
