"Hmm... that's about nice. You stay there, Larry," Professor Snow said to a rather dull, brown dummy that had all his arms and legs straight out.
What was he planning to do with the second years this lesson? Mystery to be solved when they get here. They got the syllabus when they first got here, or the new one atleast. Hopefully, none of them lost it. He giggled and then pat Larry on his straw head. He then walked over towards to the chalkboard, and picked up the white writing instrument. He started to write on the board.
After he wrote that, he set it back down. He then dusted off all the white dust that came from his hands. He walked over to Larry again, and looked at him funny. He nodded, while looking around the room. The door was open, and he could hear the students chattering in the hallways.
(( Hopefully everyone knows the homework is always OOC. Just post if your character did or did not. Your choice. ))

She was charmed to go to charms. Of course this was not her favorite class of the day but at least she wasn't doing badly in this class. Fyona walked with her school bag slung in a casual fashion over her shoulders. She had taken a look at the syllabus when they had been given them on the first day, but it had been stashed somewhere in her bag ever since. Along with her potions syllabus, herbology syllabus, and all the rest of the syllabi that she had been given by her highly esteemed professors. The young girl opened the door to her classroom and was met by...Was met by the usual teacher, desks, chairs, and rather plain decor. "Hello Professor," she greeted her teacher and read the words on the board. Ah, yes her homework. She had done it and placed it her bag....Somewhere..... Fyona began to dig into her bag full of assorted candy, parchments, a book or two. Finally she pulled out a slightly crumpled piece of parchment that had something sticky on it. Gum? Taffy?
She shrugged and placed it into the tray. One should never judge homework by its stickiness. Besides, Fyona thought she had done a good job on it and deserved a good mark for it, regardless of how it looked in its current state. She took a seat on the side of the classroom away from the door and settled down, waiting for class to begin.
