To Dance or not to dance. That was the question. She had everything she needed right in her bag. It was sitting, right there in front of her, though she made no move to open it. She was only in a spare classroom with the door open, not an fancy studio, but it would do. But, le sigh, could she do it? Could she dance again?

"Out of ze way! Incoming!" came a loud shout just before Alhana Starbreeze came barreling through the door. Her teeth her clattering together and her feet were clad in blue and gold roller-skates. Her grey eyes were fixed on the wall directly in front of her, but, unfortunately, a poor girl was right in her path. Gotta stop, gotta stop, gotta stop!

Lily glanced up only to see Alhana heading straight towards her. Grabbing her bag she scrambled out of the way nearly as fast as she could. She made it just in time and crouched there, slinging her bag over her shoulder, ready to run from the Starbreeze if it came to that. It could get nasty she knew.

"EEEK" Alhana squealed as she collided with the stone wall that was followed by a grunt as she pushed off from the wall again. She laughed sheepishly as she turned around to face the poor thing that she almost ran over. "Sorry abou-" her smile was dropped instantly as the sight of Lillian came into view. For the first time in days the Gryffindor's face wasn't spread in its usual brillaint smile, instead it was replaced by pursed lips and a sour face.

"Oh so you're not sorry because it's me?" Lily said, immeadiately going on the defensive. She had always liked Alhana, but the last time she had seen Alhana, had it not been for Drew, she would have ended up murdered or worse. So ok, she had kissed Alhana's boyfriend, but not on purpose.

Alhana hesitated for a moment, not sure if she was about to start something she would regret. "Maybe." she replied simply. "I wasn't exactly expecting to run into you." she curled her lip slightly and scrunched her nose. Actually, she had been hoping not to have to come into contact with Lily until she had completely forgiven the Ravenclaw, which she hadn't.

"I wasn't exactly expecting to be run into by you either," Lily said. She had wanted to steer as clear of Alhana as she could until (and if) Alhana forgave her. She was slightly scared of what Alhana was capable of, last time was no picnic, and she knew Alhana was feircely mad at her for what she had done. And truely she was sorry. If only Alhana could realize that.

"Well, yeah. So what are you doing here?" Alhana finally asked, suprisgnly able to keep a hold on her mouth. It was a miracle she wasn't spiting out curses that would turn Lily's hair green and cause her to sprout horns.

Lily nearly fell over so shocked she was. Alhana civilized? Towards her? That was possibly the biggest shock of her life. "Just thinking," she answered nonchalantly. There was no need to ask Alhana what she had been doing, that much was obvious.

"Thinking about what?" Alhana prompted the girl, eyeing the bag she had been holding. Ooh. She should get a medal for how calm she was being. Maybe she had cooled off over her break from the school, and her break from Lily. Although her civilized mood could turn off in an instant the moment Lily made any antagonistic remarks.

"About dancing," Lily said, watching what she said very carefully. If she wanted to survive, she was going to have to tone things down and make sure she didn't lose her temper with Alhana. If Alhana could keep her temper with Lily, Lily could keep her temper with Alhana.

Skating over to a rickety desk that seemed as if it might hold her weight, Alhana carefully set herself atop of it and eyed Lillian. "What is there to think about with dancing?" she asked, quircking up her eyebrows. She wasn't quite in the mood to rip her head off just yet, that would be another day. But for now, she might as well be decent to her. Besides, she didn't think Drew would appreciate a decapitated or broken friend.

"Nothing," Lily said, looking down at the ground. Her thinking followed a pattern and she might as well tell Alhana why she said nothing or else Alhana could think she was being cold. "Drew thought it was stupid and you probably would think it was stupid too."

Alhana shrugged her shoulders in a way that said 'so what?' Perhaps she should see the Nurse after this. Maybe that head cluncking on the statue on the fifth floor wasn't the greatest move in the world. She was being civil to Tasando, and it was starting to scare her. Maybe she just needed a bit of coffee or tea to really wake her up.
"Try me." she told Lilian. "You can't be sure that I'll agree with him thinking it stupid until you tell me." she replied.

Lily held her breath for a few seconds. Did she really just say that? Was Alhana feeling alright. She let the breath out slowly and considered it for a few more moments. "Over the summer I hurt my ankle really badly while dancing." She said. "I've been afraid to dance ever since." She looked down, playing absentmindedly with the hem of her socks.
