Smiling as she was lifted up with Devon, Matty let go of his hand before pinching one of his cheeks. "Alright then, now we're even." before letting go and poking out her tongue. Walking off from him, she then picked up her wand, looking up at at a touch on the wall. Held up her wand to it, she muttered the spell to turn off the light, before clearly saying "Incedio." as the torch became alight at once. As the red though bright light hit her wall, she then saw four other torches, two on each side of the now lit fire. Walking around to each of them and lighting the torch, she looked around to Devon.
"Look up a bit higher, i can faintly see the outlines of torches." she said smiling at. There wasn't much darkness in the room now, and four holes from the roof of the the room must've been what all the tunnels lead to. "wow..." she muttered looking around.

Devon looked up as Matty instructed and saw torches above his head. He reached up with his wand, but found that he was too short to reach them. Frowning slightly, Devon jumped up a few times to light each torch, making it even brighter in the room. Looking around, Devon agreed with Matty. Wow.
Counting in his head, Devon turned around the room and found 5 doors. Where they leaded he didn't know, but he suddenly became incredibly curious to find out. "Should we try one?" Devon asked, walking up behind Matty and standing beside her again.

As Matty was standing back at the torches, and shooting at then, rather then jumping up beside then, she couldn't help but laugh as Devon tried to get up to them. Then as finally the room as totally lit, she gazed around again. Smiling and taking in where they were, she circled around with her eyes shut, before stop in one place. There in her direction, was a brown wood door. Walking up to it, wand still tightly held in her hand, she said "This one?" before smiling at Devon. Stepping aside a bit, Matty looking around again, seeing that both of them feel from quite a distance, their only obstacle might be getting back up.
Watching Devon, she then looked to the door again. And just from under the door, onto the carpet, could be seen a tiny green leaf... Why is that there? One would think.

Devon watched as Matty walked toward the door, admiring her courage. He grinned at her as she asked him if he wanted to try that particular door first. "Sure, why not," Devon agreed with a mischievous grin creeping onto his face. He looked up once more at where they had fallen into the room and sighed. Good luck to them trying to get back.
Walking toward the door as well, Devon examined it before he tried to open it. It looked like a normal door, but one could never be sure in a place like Hogwarts. Cautiously, Devon tried the door and found it to be unlocked. "You ready?" he asked, turning the knob slowly. However, he didn't wait for an answer as he pulled the door open slowly, and gaped at what he saw. "Whoa..." Devon whispered.

Smiling, she waited until Devon reached her and the door. Then nodding when he ask her if she was ready, she really was. Once he opened the door, she too let her mouth drop. "Sweet...." she said, back to his 'whoa'. The sight really was amazing. The small green leaf she had saw at the bottom of the door, trailed along the floor, reaching into a massive plant. Gorgeous flowers of the rainbow, and leafs of every green surrounded in the room. It was like walking to a Rain forest in one room. Vines swung in front of them, as Matty stepped through the door frame. And as she did, a great aroma filled her nose and the flowers pollen must've been the source.
"This is amazing!" she said looking to Devon excitingly. Being careful not to step on any plants, Matty took another few steps forward into the plant haven. Evergreen leafs were every where, no real trees, though some palm trees were abundant in one sport. The sight was just so fascinating. Plants in a room, and in a Hogwarts Corridor as well! "What do you think?" she said looking around to Devon and smiling mischievously.

"I think we're going to get crushed by a giant Devil's Snare," Devon replied, looking around the room as he crossed over the line separating carpet floor and plant. Devon had never been one to be scared, but there was something about this room that made him slightly uneasy. Usually Devon had pretty good instincts and right now, his were telling him to quickly get out of there and shut the door. But, curiosity was overriding common sense, and Devon stepped into the strange room even more.
"Don't you think this might be a little too weird?" he asked her, turning to face the girl again.

Backing up a little, Matty looked above her too see a great flower that looked like it could gobble them up if they went further more. Taking about 5 steps back, she then bumped slightly into Devon. Smiling she said "Yeah... i mean now that I've looked up..." she then paused while listening what he said. Nodding, she then looked to him and said "Maybe we should skip the tour of this room, after all plants growing in a room with no sunlight that we can see is pretty freaky..." turning back to the plants. The was light, though they just couldn't see it. And even though the door was open, it made Matty a little uncomfortable being in a Rain Forest room.
"Wanna check out the others then?" she asked taking another step back to wards the door. Hopefully the other rooms wouldn't be like this. Though maybe the others resembled other elements of the world. Or possible other freaky rooms that had no real purpose. They could only find out.

"Yeah..." Devon agreed, backing up as well, "Freaky." He backed right out of the room and stood in the other room they had landed in, looking at the rest of the doors. There was another door on the other side of the room that was a slightly different colour than the rest of them, and it caught Devon's mischievous eye.
"Let's try that one," Devon suggested, pointing to the door and already walking toward it before Matty even had a chance to reply.

Closing the door behind her, Matty watched Devon as he looked around too. As her eyes fell upon the same door as his, she might suggested it if he didn't. Smiling, she was just about to answer him, as he walked over to where the door lay. Coming up behind him, she said "Alright then." in a sarcastic way, only being playful of course. As they came to the door, Matty didn't feel that intrigued to open the door.
Waiting for Devon to make the first move, she then said "You can do the honers." grinning all the same.

"Oh gee, can I really?" Devon replied, returning the sarcasm, "Oh you're too kind." He rolled his eyes jokingly and chuckled. He reached out slowly for the doorknob and turned it. It squeaked slightly, as if it hadn't been opened for years.
And for good reason.
As the door swung open, all that faced them was a brick wall. "Oh well this is exciting," said Devon, the sarcasm still flowing out of his mouth. He turned to Matty and frowned, closing the door again. "Good call on my part," Devon joked, laughing at himself again. He felt his cheeks flush slightly as he closed the door and leaned against it. But then the wall shifted. And he fell through.
"I am getting awfully sick of falling," Devon called to Matty.

Smirking, Matty watched and waited until.... A brick wall appeared. "Wow Devon, you have a real knack for choosing rooms." she said in the same sarcastic tone. Then hearing him she said, "Yes, very exciting indeed." poking out her tongue as he faced her. Taking no notice of his cheeks turning slightly pink though, she returned her smirk into a sweet smile. Her eyes darted slightly as she saw the wall shift. Matty was just about to lean forward to get him out of the way, though that was before he fell into a lit room.
Like the plant room, she couldn't tell where the light was coming from. As Devon fell through into the room, Matty rushed forward and just so happened to trip on the step. Stumbling, she bounced lightly into Devon. Smiling up to him, she backed off him, feeling her cheeks redden a big, before saying "And i guess I'm sick of falling on you." though smiling all the same.

I'm not getting sick of that part... Devon thought to himself, but didn't dare say it out loud. He felt his cheeks flush a lot more, and he was sure Matty would see it this time, and he saw her do the same. Stuttering, Devon tried to speak something that was intelligible. "I-I...uhh...ermm...yeah. Sick of it," Devon sputtered out, and then immediately regretted it. God he was an idiot.
As Matty got off him, Devon jumped up quickly and brushed himself off once more. He realized they were just getting themselves farther and farther away from civilization, but at least they were still in the castle. That was a start. "Now what?" he asked her, but turned his gaze to the ground and stared at his shoes.

The huffle third year couldn't help but giggle slightly at Devon's comment, and she really didn't think much of it. Then as Matty looked around smiling, and didn't notice Devon's colour rise in his cheeks. However as he asked what next they should do, she replied with "I reckon we should get outta this room before we fall through a trap door or something?" she returned to eyes back to where he was standing. Backing up a bit, she took another quick glance around the room to make sure they hadn't missed anything.
"You think theres anything else worth lookin' into?" Matty asked, of course meaning the room.
