Aleeza didn't like being lost and she was glad that this time she wasn't. You'd think after spending months in a place it would be easy to find your way around, but not for the redhead. She hadn't yet taken the time to learn where anything was unless it pertained to food or classes, and now was the time to start.
She'd already made her way through the other floors and was a little dissappointed that the most she could find on the sixth was a bunch of empty rooms. Something exciting needed to happen soon or she was sure that she would just sit down and sleep for a few hours. And that was never good.
Turning the corner she stopped in her tracks and then turned to look back at the hallway. She felt as though she was being watched, a feeling she didn't take to kindly to. With a small shrug of her shoulders she continued to go on with her adventure, hoping that something came her way soon.

"Piss off, Peeves." Matty's tone was not playful, nor teasing. Simply just annoyed. That stupid pest had been following her around all afternoon, throwing pencil shavings at her, and whipped cream. Frankly, Matty wasn't going to take crap from him. So, she had gotten out her wand, and show flocks of birds, and short bursts of water out at him. Yes, she had leaned the water-casting spell from an older student, but the Hufflepuff was yet to succeed in getting it to be really strong and go for a longer period of time than 6 seconds. But because of the ghost's mischief ways, he had grabbed a shield, and propelled some water back at her. No, not good at all.
So for the last half hour, the girl had been shooting water at Peeves, and have him propel it back from time to time. Annoying, yes, and she was just about over it. "This is so old," she said after a moment, pausing and crossing her arms, leaning on one of her hips. "Go find someone else to annoy, would you?" she said, her green eyes glaring at the thing. "All you had to do was ask, Missy-moo Wenty-woo!" the Hufflepuff rolled her eyes, and snuck around the corner before Peeves had another chance to catch up to her. He was a stupid creature. Funny, at time, but stupid. The athletic girl sprinted around the corner, which wasn't easy, considering she was wearing purple skinny jeans, sky blue converses, a pale blue tee shirt and a light gray modern cardigan. Her hair was tied up in a loose pony tail to one side, her fringe and some other stands to the opposite side of it hanging out. She slid around a corner, before hearing an insane cackling sounds.
Stupid Peeves.
The girl made another quick decision, not even seeing the other girl in the corridor, and tumbled behind a set of Armour, hiding herself behind it. Hopefully that rotten creature would pass, and Matty would make it back to the Common Room, dry enough. She wasn't that wet, but being damp wasn't exactly pleasant.

If she didn't find anything soon Aleeza was gonna turn around and head back to the Commons. There had to be something going on somewhere, she just needed to find it. As she walked her mind began to run through the plot of her latest story before she heard a crash that made her jump clear off the floor.
Pressing her back against the nearest wall she watched as a suit of armor jostle slightly. Why on earth would Armor start moving? Of course she knew the castle was haunted, but she hadn't expected things like suits of armor moving about as though people were still inside them. As much as she thought she understood magic there was still a lot Aleeza needed to learn, aparently.
With a small breath she pushed off the wall and made her way toward the moving armor, looking it in what would be the eye before making her way around it slowly. She wasn't expecting to find another girl hiding behind the bloody thing and so when she found the blonde girl hiding back there she screamed.

Matty wasn't expecting the girl to look where she was. Although she got a surprise, she didn't act in the same way as the other girl. The Hufflepuff smirked, before snickering. Her green eyes glanced at the girl, before she bit her lower lip. "You right there?" she grinned, pushing herself off the ground and taking a look at the other girl. Matty didn't really recognize the red-head from her face. She look about in her own year, but the teen couldn't be sure. "Anyway," the girl said, sticking her hands into her back pockets. "Whatcha doin' snooping around up here?" she said with a polite smile. Her tone wasn't mean or anything, just curious. The girl stole another quick glance behind her, checking to make sure Peeves wasn't coming.
And he wasn't, so that was okay.

Aleeza's heart raced, adrenaline pounding through her system. She barely heard the blonde girl's question before her heart calmed down and her breathing slowed. "I was just trying to get a feel for the castle. I got lost in the dungeon a few days ago and I wanted to make sure I know where everything is if I need it." Aleeza replied coolly, pretending she hadn't just screamed like a little girl. It was easier that way.
"What are you doing hiding behind a suit of armor, anyway?" Aleeza suddenly asked, her hands on her hips.

Matty smiled at the girl. 'I was just trying to get a feel for the castle. I got lost in the dungeon a few days ago and I wanted to make sure I know where everything is if I need it.' The Hufflepuff tried to keep the smirk off her face, considering she didn't want to make a bad impression. Her next question, accompanied with the red-heads actions, couldn't help but make Matty smirk slightly. "Me? Well, I was trying to get rid of Peeves, the castle pest. he's been following me around for a bit, and I got sick of him. So, when I had the chance, I snuck off, and hit behind this Armour, when you stumbled upon me." she replied in an equally cool tone, the smirk disappearing off her face.
"I haven't seen you around... what year are you in?" she asked, her green eyes sparkling slightly. "I'm Matty, by the way." she added.

Peeves. Aleeza had heard of him, though hadn't had the displeasure of dealing with him face to face. And it seemed that it was a good thing she hadn't. The redhead didn't know if she could deal with someone following her around doing their best to annoy her. Though I bet that's what Micky said when I was born. Relaxing slightly the Ravenclaw ran her fingers through her hair as she took a deep breath.
"I'm a fourth year. Ravenclaw house. And my name is Aleeza. What about you? House and year, I mean." She said softly, still a bit shaken up by what just happened. No matter how much time she spent at Hogwarts she wasn't sure she would ever get used to things popping up out of nowhere, or people and suits of armor or anything of that sort.
