His breaths heavy as he held himself up against the wall, the darkness easily hiding the fact that he was there but that was also the reason why he was somewhat lost. As he sucked in deep breaths of air, he reached up and wiped the sweat from his brow which had started beading there quite a short while again.
It was late....very late and Leto had fallen asleep on what he thought was the fourth floor, but in fact rather than the fourth he was on the sixth and he had felt like all he had been doing was running round in circles.....and that was exactly what he had been doing.
The torches that normally lit the floor had been blown out early by a big gust of wind but Leto had no idea that was why, he was stressing and freaking out at the same time, his mind going back to the invasion of the school only a month before and now this was happening to him.....was he about to be kidnapped

"Hello?"
Matty's voice was soft and quite timid, as the Huffle wandered up the stars from the fifth floor to the sixth. The young girl had been listening to Mike's Magical Ipod on the Fourth floor, avoiding her sleep, when she had decided to go to her Common Room. But as soon as she turned it off, the girl heard running footsteps from above. The Hufflepuff decided to check it out, as she could faintly hear panting, and what seemed to be groans of frustration. The girl was glad in her pin-striped, strippy PJ pants, a singlet top, Mike's navy blue jumper, and her ugg boots. Matty's hair was a little bit messy, but tied up in a pony tail. After a few steps, the girl saw a figure leaning up against a wall. She approached it, quite frightened, but very curious.
Her large green eyes widened almost immediately. "Leto?" She said, before repeating the words again. "Leto!" the Hufflepuff stood, her face in shock as she looked at the boy who had disappeared.

Leto hadn't heard Matty walk up behind him so it was safe to say that he jumped quite a bit when she yelled his name, in fact jumping wouldn't suffice in this situation as it was more of a scramble away from the voice before it clicked in his mind who it was, so now he was on the floor proped up by only his arms and his breathes returned to the quick paced ones they had just been.
"M...m....Matty, you scared the bejeebus out of me"
He said in quite a shakey voice as he looked up at the gorgeous girl whom now stood a few feet away and Leto couldn't help but smile at her.

Her shocked face didn't stay for long, as the girl bit her lip, grinning. "So I see..." she teased, her green eyes eying the boy. "Because I don't seem to remember you having a habit of lying on the corridor floors, late at night, looking like a escaped fugitive." the Hufflepuff smirked, pushing the Ipod into the pocket, where her wand was also stashed. The Fourth year really didn't know how to react. Leto was here now... but she honestly didn't know where they stood anymore. "So... do you plan to stay on the floor all night, Leto?" Matty questioned, leaning on the wall with one shoulder, daring him to make some kind of move.

Leto laughed to himself a little as she described him as an escaped fugitive, which he must say may of described him at that moment as he did look rather scruffy or as he would describe it....ruggedly handsome. Slowly he stood up and propped himself up against the wall next to Matty and smiled at her before placing a small kiss on her lips.
Just to let her know that he had thought about her everyday while he had been away.
"Well it was rather comfortable to say the least"
He said with a cheeky grin falling upon his lips.

Matty watched his actions, that smirk tugging at her lips every second that had passed. She had to admit that she had missed Leto so much. His personality, his habits, his jokes, his looks, his company, the way he made her feel. Everything about him. As he propped himself a few inches from herself, and kissed her on the lips shortly, she couldn't help but grin. "Oh, I'm sure it was, Mr Rolen." the girl stuck out her tongue at him, before returning his grin. "I've missed you..." the girl said softly, looking down at the ground. After a few seconds, the Hufflepuff looked up, a bit uneasy. Slowly, Matty took a step to wards the Slytherin, smiling at him, before kissing him fully on the lips. Yes, she had even missed these moments. The girl waited a fair enough time before breaking the kiss. Indeed, it was good to see Leto again.

Leto was just about to respond to Matty when she definitely took the words right out of his mouth when she kissed him and even if it had been so long since they had seen each other, let alone had a moment such as this with each other, it still felt so right and made Leto feel loved and wanted once more.
He didn't want it to end......well not yet anyway, as he reached around her waist and pulled her in closer as he kissed her a little bit more intensely than normal for him, but as it was said distance makes the heart grow fonder.

Matty grinned at the Slytherin as he pulled her closer, and began to kiss again. As a normal reaction, the girl moved closer to him again, deepening the kiss. The Hufflepuff could honestly say that her writer agreed with Leto's, and the distance between the two Fourth Years had only intensified their fondness for one another. Matty broke the kiss and grinned for a moment, before reaching up to his pale cheek and stroking it slightly, before placing a small, lingering kiss on his lips, and once more pulling away. Her lush green eyes looked into his own ice-blue ones, one thing she had missed doing. "So where have you been, Mr. Rolen?" the girl asked softly, before nudging her head to the ground, offering for them to sit down.

Leto's normally pale cheeks blushed furiously as Matty reached up and stroked one of them and then they intensified at the kiss, but after she broke away he wanted to be close to her once more and took her hand in his and softly stroked it as he looked into her lush green eyes.
"If I told you where I have been then it wouldn't be a secret....and the gift in my pocket for you wouldn't have much meaning would it?"
He said as a playful look danced across his face, most people would of thought that it was wierd that Leto carried around a gift for Matty with him when he had no idea when he would run into her, but he.....in his heart, knew that they would bump into each other on that day.
Inside the box was a silver necklace, nothing too extravigant but the seashell that was used as a pendant was, and when he had seen it back in Australia he had known that it was definitely something he wanted to get Matty.

Matty couldn't keep the smile off her face as she felt Leto's hand around her own. 'If I told you where I have been then it wouldn't be a secret... and the gift in my pocket for you wouldn't have much meaning would it?' She raised her eyes suspiciously at the boy. "Leto, you didn't..." she said, shaking her head. "Having you back is the best gift I could ever receive." she insisted, slowly sitting down, and managing to pull him down with her, considering he was still holding onto her hand. "So I'm assuming Mike was with you as well, where-ever you've been?" she asked, still curious to find out where the boys actually were.

"Naturally"
He said with a light smile as he slid his hand into his pocket and pulled out a small box and held it out in front of Matty, as if offering it to her but he knew he wouldn't have to make her take it, she would do that on her own and he knew she would like what the box held within.
"You know I had to get you something though Matty"

Matty grinned at the boy, her straight white teeth showing as the boy confirmed her suspicion of Mike. It was his next actions that made the girl's smile fade slightly. "Leto..." Matty said, her green eyes tuning up to his own blue ones. "You didn't have to get me anything." she said, pushing her boyfriend's hands back, closer to his own body. "I'm sure anything that is nice for me would look twice as good on you." the Huffle teased, folding her arms. She looked back up at him, suspicion on her face.
