Autumn was utterly lost. Everything about this school was crazy. The passageways got her mixed up, the paintings gave her wrong directions, and on top of that she almost fell through the stairs. This was just too crazy for her. As she finally found a landing to some floor she walked over to a windowsill and sat down on the ledge. She pulled her hoodie closer on her body. Even thought the window was closed she was still cold from the draft.
She pulled out a comic featuring her favorite hero, the Green Lantern on the front cover. She gazed at the cover, smiling at the familiar face staring back at her. She opened the cover and closed her eyes. Sighing she recited the Green Lantern oath, something that always made her feel at home.
"In brightest day, in darkest night, no evil shall escape my sight, let those who worship evil's might, beware my power, Green Lantern's light!" While she was saying that she didn't hear someone walking up the stairs, coming towards her.

Alfonz had been having one of the most interesting weeks yet, and he knew as he heard a faint voice chanting something, that it was only bound to get worse. Walking up the stairs, being careful to walk over the last one just right so that it didn't capture his foot (as it had one too many times for his own taste), he stopped just behind a corner and listen to the young girl speak.
...let those who worship evil's might, beware my power, Green Lantern's light...
What? Alfonz thought to himself as he cocked an eyebrow. The girl was obviously deranged in one form of fashion, but sighing irritatedly, Alfonz knew that he had to pass. Raynor wasn't in her office downstairs, that meant the one up top was where he needed to go. As he continued to walk, he eyed the girl slightly seeing that she had a book of sorts in her hands... it was very colorful, and though Alfonz tried not to be curious, he found that anymore the students made him curious to no end.
"Do you enjoy talking to yourself in the middle of an empty hallway?" he said, slightly smirking as he did so. He was an ass.... oh, did he love it.

Autumn almost jumped out of her skin. She shoved her book into her bag and jumped down from the ledge. There he was. He wasn't much older then her. She looked him up and down, her cheeks turning brighter red as she met his eyes. "I...uh. I missed home. That oath reminds me of home. It's from my favorite comic book." She bit her lip, trying not to look like too much of a dork.
"I got lost trying to find my common room. This school is like a maze. Never thought it would be this hard to find my bed." She gave a light laugh, pulling her bag off her shoulder and putting it on the ground. "So are you a student here also?"

Another that had just gotten there, and he had found. He was a magnet it seemed for those whom were new and lost. Just the last year he had found a fifth year Ravenclaw that was lost… Aleeza was her name though. It sounded like a sneeze of sorts… it was the only way he remembered her name. “And let me guess… you’re a fifth year Ravenclaw, too,” he jested smirking larger as if to laugh at her. The girl’s face was bright red, and Alfonz rolled his eyes looking away.
“Student?” he questioned. His eyes went back to the girl, an eyebrow raising slightly. “I’m the Quiddich Co-ref.” He snorted slightly and shook his head, but at the same time… looking young was never a bad thing. At least he still had his touch.

"You're good. And the answer is yes, I'm a fifth year Ravenclaw." She stepped forward, gaining some confidence. "I'm Autumn." She held out her hand to him so he could shake it. She still felt quite emabarassed about him hearing her repeat the oath.
"You said you were a Quiddtch ref? My sister is on Puddlemere's reserve team. Chaser. Her name is Greer. Greer McGloughlin." She hoped he would know her sister. "She always told me when I came here I should try out for Quidditch, to keep the family tradition of good athletes going."

Alfonz was shocked that he had actually guessed the girl's house and year right, and for that he snorted slightly. What was it with all of these fifth years in Ravenclaw who didn't know their way? Alfonz almost wondered if their obliviousness was what had gotten Celina in the house. She too, was oblivious at times and Alfonz now could see connections between her and the other Raven girls that Alfonz had ever met. "Well, I'll be damned.." he snickered. "I was kidding... but it was a good guess I suppose." He smirked, proud of himself for getting it right, though he never had any intention on doing so.
"Jedynak," he said, arching an eyebrow as he took the girl's hand. "Mr. Jedynak." He was unsure of what people were supposed to call him... Ref Jedynak, Mr. Jedynak... so he just took the more respectful way and just stuck to Mister. It made him feel as if he were his father, but in some ways, it was better than having to be reminded of squealing girls, screaming out his name from the quidditch stands. "My sister is actually in your house... a year older than you," he said, seeing no harm in giving out the information. Celina should be known for being at Hogwarts before he, for she had been their longer. It was only right... and frankly, the way that Alfonz wanted it to be. The Jedynak name was being smeared all over this school, and in some ways... Alfonz reveled in it... while there were other ways, he did not.
Greer McGloughlin. He didn't know her. Alfonz actually didn't know most of the other players on the quidditch teams, and especially those whom were on reserve teams. It happened, for though he played quidditch and loved it, he did so for himself and no one else. "Are you going to?" Alfonz rose an eyebrow. Ravenclaw was in desperate need of a Seeker, and after the last game, he wouldn't allow Celina to ever get back in the air again. It was just one more thing he needed to remember to do. Discuss with Jax Chaput that his sister was to be off the team... and that was just that. "I hear they're looking for a dependable seeker..." Alfonz muttered, trying to seem uninterested.

"It's nice to meet you Mr. Jedynek," Autumn said while shaking his hand. A smile creeped on his face. His name sounded familiar. She didn't know where. Autumn was sure she had heard in within these walls and the rest of the sentence had noting to do with Quidditch. She listened to him more. "My sister is actually in your house... a year older than you." She thought again. Still nothing. With a shrug she said, "I'll keep a lookout for her. If she's a Ravenclaw then she must be pretty cool!"
She then heard him talk about the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. She'd love to join. Greer had told her to join as to keep the tradition going. They even took the time to teach her about each position so just incase she could play anyone. "Really? There is an opening?" Her voice couldn't hide how excited she was. "I guess I'll have to check that out."

Alfonz didn't know what to think about this girl, but then again, when did he ever have a care to think about anyone that wasn't his little sister? Raynor didn't count in that aspect, for both of them knew that thinking about each other could only be done a certain specific times, and in certain situations. Now was not the time for her, for though he didn't know what to think about the young Raven, he now found that she had a purpose so this meeting wasn't a complete waste of his time. "I'm sure you'll find her somewhere off in a corner doing homework..." Alfonz only half jested, not really even smiling or laughing. He knew his sister, and he knew her every mannerism and move. It was why he felt that no one but he was good enough to protect her... and now she was galavanting with her friends... it ate him up inside, and yet he couldn't do anything about it. So, for the time being it wasn't worth it... she'd find out on her own sooner and later, and when she did, he would be there like he had been so many times before.
"I know where the tower is that you seek. Walk with me," he slightly commanded walking forward. He had helped Celina a few times bring books and such from the library up to the Ravenclaw tower, so he knew exactly where the entrance was. He'd help the girl find her way, and do what he did best... talk quidditch. "There is. I've actually planned a meeting with the captain of Ravenclaw to discuss who I think would be more appropriate for the team than the alternates she has..." Alfonz shrugged nonchalant like. He had only just sent the Chaput girl an owl that morning. After the last game, and Celina falling off her broom and almost injuring herself, Alfonz wasn't about to allow her to play on the team again. Absolutely not. "I know that seeker and chaser are open..." Alfonz said, again shrugging.
"What do you think your strengths in the game are, and why?" he raised an eyebrow looking the girl over. From the looks of her, she could play either position well, but he was hoping she'd say seeker... Merlin knew the team needed one that wasn't Celina; no matter how badly Ravenclaw had creamed Slytherin.
