Chloe made her way down the narrow alley of Knockturn that lead to the shop named Borgin and Burkes. Her shoulders were hunched and hands dug deep into her jean pockets as her trainers produced a slappy sound every time it made contact with the wet cobbled stone path She didn't really have enough time to explore Diagon Alley so this would be Chloe's last opportunity to do so. At this moment she was supposed to be standing by her mother at Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions while she fussed over what matching robes she should get for Chloe's little cousin. She saw it as an opportunity to sneak off since her mother wasn't really paying any attention to her.
And now here she was, in front of a shop that was said to contain the most darkest yet unusual objects that in an unexpected way, intrigued Chloe very much. She loved anything that was different or stood out in this world, especially if it was dark. Although she was neutral, she couldn't help but want to know more about the Dark Arts. Feeling as she'd been standing in front of the dirty glass door for too long, she pushed it and stepped inside.
The atmosphere in the shop was dark and gloomy, with only a dim light bulb hanging from the ceiling providing poor quality light. She felt a light tickling sensation in her nose due to the presence of dust that had triggered her to sneeze in the next second. Using a handkerchief to cover her nose and mouth she proceeded much deeper into the shop and soon found herself in a dark corridor, shelves lining its sides. Each one stacked with the most peculiar objects. Chloe reached out and grabbed the first one that interested her, holding it in her hands she observed it.
"Hand of Glory." she muttered to herself.

"And this is supposed to make them fall from the sky?" Alfonz questioned the shopkeeper in a cold whisper. The sound of a bell, as the doors to the shop opened, made Alfonz slowly turn his head. "I'll take it," he whispered throwing down on the counter the exact amount. This will prove useful, he said putting the pin in his pocket for a later time. Right now, he watched as a brunette, not much older than his sister, walked into the shop. Alfonz heard a scoff from behind him, as he held up his hand telling the person that he'd take care of the issue at hand. No one that young, or niave should be walking around these parts of town. It was, after all, dangerous.
Walking toward the door as if he was going to leave, he stopped just as reaching the girl. Bending over behind her as she played with an item that should not have been touched. He whispered coldly from behind her, "Do you know exactly what could happen when touching anything in this shop?" He stood back up waiting for the girl to turn around and look at him. If she was like any of the other women he had met in his life, she'd get defensive....even as young as she was. He shook his head...where were the parents of a stray child when they were needed.

Chloe continued to observe the Hand of Glory, it was quite an interesting item. Resembling a withered human hand that when its fingers were lit like candles would cast a charmed sleep. Often used by thief's to rob houses. Brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, she placed her handkerchief in her jean pockets and was about to place the item back on the shelf when a new presence had occupied the room. Not looking towards the source of the voice until she'd placed it on the shelf, she turned her head towards the older man and replied. "I know."
With that she made her way down the corridor, forgetting he was there and continuing her observation of the rest of the objects. She stopped in-front of a display case that held an opal necklace resting on a base composed of a filthy rag. A rectangular cardboard was put in front of it, the words 'DO NOT TOUCH' hastily scribbled upon its surface. She'd read about this necklace somewhere on the Daily Prophet and was tempted to touch it but resisted the urge of doing so. She knew what it could do.

The girl was oblivious, obviously the danger that she could get herself into being here...and it made Alfonz smirk. He almost wanted to tell her to touch something, just to see if she would actually do it. She walked a bit away from him, after putting down the hand and studied one of the most dangerous items in the store. Alfonz looked at the shop keeper and met his eyes with a mischevious grin. The twenty one year old had been having a lot of trouble lately, but he was now beginning to feel...more like himself. The girl's ignorance would get her into trouble, and Alfonz decided that he would take the liberty to do so.
"Does that piece intrigue you, miss?" He asked her walking up behind her once more. The shop keeper left, as if to say he wasn't getting involved in whatever Alfonz was thinking of doing. At the moment, however, he had no plans. But he was sure, that if the girl was as ridiculous as she seemed...she would be the one giving him the idea of what move to make next.

Chloe continued to observe the opal necklace. Studying its fine structure and detail, her eyes covering almost every part of it. She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear before peering even closer into the case to catch a better look of the object she saw popping out from behind this cursed masterpiece. Before she could do so, a familiar voice filled her ears. With gritted teeth she turned her body towards the unknown man and titled her head to one side. "Can I help you in any way?"
"Does that piece intrigue you, miss?"
Instead of throwing an annoyed fit in front of him, Chloe produced a small yet forced smile on her lips. "Actually it does. I'm really impressed by the fine details and the hues of white this necklace possesses. It certainly is alluring. I'm actually considering buying it but this case prevents me from getting a better look, I'd hold it in my hands but I'm not tall enough to reach the correct lighting coming from that small window over there. If my calculations are correct, you'd be the perfect height for it. If you hold the necklace..in your..bare hands properly and bring it to a specific angle I'd be able to see if the jewelry is actually real."
Taking one last glance at the opal necklace before returning to him, she grinned, "I'd love to see your reaction, it would really please me."
Hmph, he certainly doesn't know who he's messing with.
