Reina glared at Drew totally ignoring him. She nodded at Allegra letting the new sink in. Reina wa about to reply when she heard Kellen snort and she thought he was laughing at her. Reina turned her steely gaze to him.
"Oh, well, he probably won't last long. Not after I have a word with him."
Reina continued to stare at Kellen and Drew. Reina will throttle Drew. From that smug little smile on his face. GRRR!

"Try to give him a chance at least," Allegra suggested, not understanding why some of the houses had such problems with their Heads. Antagonizing the adults in charge never amounted to much good in her opinion.

The Gryffindor Prefect merely listened to the bickering and confusion as it ensued and escalated. "Right, first years, any idea roughly how many we got this time 'round?" Corey questioned, trying to get the meeting somewhere without the anger level going any higher. Oh that would be a task and a half. His next question involved quidditch, but he could wait on that for awhile.
It all seemed kinda pointless, it seemed Gryffindor and Ravenclaw were the only two to hold a constant Head of House. Then again, aforementioned were also bound to each other sot hey couldn't really go anywhere either. Still, maybe if the houses actually stuck together and behaved they just might not lose any staff this year.

Reina shrugged at Allegra. Reina was so used to their heads just abandoning them she didn't feel like she should get attached to the new heads right away. They had to prove their commitment to Slytherin first.
"Firsties, birsties. I need to know the schedules and the meetings that I seem to miss. Let the new kids learn on their own. Survival of the fittest."
Reina smiled at Charlie. She was sure Charlie would handle the first years. She still told Reina to work on her first impression thingy.
