{This takes place between 11:00 and 12:00. All Prefects are expected to attend. Side note: If you don't have the password to the prefect lounge, please PM me or Kellen}
Allegra had pulled her trunk to the front of the train and very politely removed a couple of firsties who had planted themselves in the front car. As tradition dictated, this was the cabin reserved for the prefects, and while most of the time no one stuck around past the meeting, it was where everyone knew they needed to be when the train pulled out of King's Cross station.
She shoved her trunk under the seat and pulled the notes and charts she had made over the last month as she waited for the others to show up.

{dang... wouldn't it be sad if you had a meeting and no one came? } Drew pushed past the students in the corridor and swung himself into the empty compartment ...and swung himself right back out again. "Hey! Where are you going? We have a meeting!" Allegra cried out, making him turn back and face her. "But no one's here yet. I'm going to go hang out with..." "You aren't hanging out with anyone!" she answered back. "The meeting's going to start soon." "But no one's here!" he replied. He was getting frustrated with the knowledge that the longer he stood around and argued, the less chance of escaping he'd have. "Heck, Kellen isn't even here yet. I'm serious. I'll be just a minute. I'll even go find the others if you want." "No way, then they'll all show up and we'll have to find you. Sit down and stop being cheeky." "Stop trying to be Aunt Abigail or I'll really show you cheeky," Drew answered, making a face and slapping his own rear end to emphasize which cheeks he'd be showing. He'd been dying to give that comeback, but of course would never dream of telling that to Aunt Abigail. "You wouldn't dare," Allegra answered, with a slight mocking in her voice. Of course it was a challenge which Drew took. Dropping his cargo shorts to reveal his blue plaid boxers, he did an impromptu "cheeky dance" for her right there in the door way. {god-moding Allegra because I can }

"You're incorrigible," Allegra told him, rolling her eyes and going back to her notes. If the others didn't show up soon, she was going to start to stress out. Allegra stressed out was not a pretty sight.

"Daaammmn...." Someone said from behind Drew. Of course, just in time for the lovely show was Charlie. But she wasn't really none too pleased to be greeted with a fanny dance. "Is this your way of a security system, Allegra? Because..." Charlie took a step back. "... it's working."
She had no idea why she even entertained the idea of coming. Sleeping in the settled car would have been a much better plan. But she came by, and there was no turning back, it seemed. That is, if Drew stayed there longer. Then she would probably gag. And that wouldn't be fun.
But then again charts and speeches were barrels of fun, too.

{LOL... I was just telling Abby you'd be the first to comment } "Okay, Jones is here, lets get this puppy started," Drew announced, pulling his pants back up and stepping fully inside the compartment. Seriously how many did they really need? Half the houses represented was pretty good, right?

(well, I'm just that lucky to encounter this ) Charlie uncovered her eyes when the coast seemed clear. "No, really. No thanks," she said as she dropped her arms and made a ninety degree turn to the exit. Really, now that she saw the charts-- and did Allegra have a pointer? Charlie shook the thought and concluded that she was just imagining that. But seeing that no one was around except for the Thorntons, she thought that the idea-entertaining was enough.

Well, he was there, after fighting through the masses of people in King's Cross and getting his luggage stowed away. It would probably be about what he expected, prevent fights, watch for first years, and above all, keep order. What else could there ever be a meeting about, on a train no less?
"Oi, Drew...d'you mind, tha's not rightly something I want to see...ever." Corey stated from two feet behind Charlie, allowing the girl enough distance to back up further, if anything to put proper distance between to hex the Ravenclaw.
"Anyone seen the Huffle Prefects?" Corey questioned. It wasn't exactly vital, as he could always pass information up the line, but, finding them would be a challenge in itself as people tended to more or less disappear, or at least blend in with the train.

"Three houses!" Drew crowed, flopping into a seat. The good news was most of the other prefects were pretty cool. It would make up for the dryness of the topic. "We don't need the Huffles. They don't count anyway! Let's get on with it!"

She scratched her head and groaned again. Sure, Corey gave her space, but he also closed her exit off. No quick escapes were going to be made here. Reluctantly, she came into the car and sat down, with one leg under her. She could at least try to be comfortable.

"You're here now, you might as well stick around," Allegra told Charlie, relieved that more peole were showing up. She knew the Huffle prefects would show, but there was a more important reason not to start yet. "I promise, it won't be that long once we have everyone. And we can't get on with anything without them. Kellen isn't even here yet," she said.

"Ke...llen..." Drew echoed quietly, wanting to tease his sister, but not really wanting to deal with any backlash that might occur because of it. Of course, she had a point. The guy was Head Boy after all.

Allegra pretended she hadn't heard her brother's tease, but the set of her jaw and the flush of red up her cheeks said differently. She thumbed through her schedules before finding the ones she needed. "You might as well look at these while we wait," She told them, handing them each two pages. "The first one is for train duty today and the second is for Hall patrol once we get to school. I don't care if you switch or double up or ask a friend to join you, but it needs to be done. IF someone slacks off, I'm coming after the person on the schedule."

"I'm not slacking off!" Kellen exclaimed as he came into the train car and only heard the end of Allegra's sentance. "I'm here, I promise! And I'm....well, I guess I'm late, but I'm not slacking off." He was very insistant; he didn't want to be accused of not doing his job, he was good at his job.

"Good thing you aren't supposed to be on duty then," Allegra answered, looking up and smiling at him. She could still feel the flush in her cheeks, but ignored it as she handed Kellen his schedules. "And if the Huffles don't show up before the train starts moving, I'm switching it all to give them the worst times."
For train duty, that had to be right before they reached Hogsmeade. The hyperness level on the Hogwarts Express seemed to increase inversly proportionate to the distance from school.

"Hey, I heard that last bit," came a voice from the doorway. Pat walked into the comparment, a slightly embarassed smile on his face. "I'm here, don't worry 'bout that." He was still a bit surprised that he'd actually become a prefect; he'd only remembered just a couple minutes ago that there was a meeting. He looked around for a moment, then looked back toward Allegra and Kellen. "I miss anything important?"
