After spending the whole holidays basking in the warm, loving glow of her family, Tianne really didn't want to go back to school. As much as she loved hogwarts, she missed her family. But there were plus sides on going back; she had been made Prefect again, who the other was, Tianne didn't know now that Layla had graduated, but it didn't really matter. Hopefully they would get along, but who didn't Tianne get along with? Tianne also wondered who would be crowned head boy and head girl, it was so close that nobody could have picked it.
She would have wanted to have sat with her friends on the train trip, but she was more than eager to go to the meeting, to find out who got the positions of power in the houses. It was all so exciting for the girl, as lame and dorky as it may have sounded. Let's just say that there wasn't very many exciting things in her life.
Kissing her sister on the cheek, Tianne threw her arms around the girl, hugging her tightly. "I'm.. gonna... mis... you... tan... ya..." She said, while using all the power that her height against the girls gave her. Letting go, Tianne ruffled up her sisters hair, and moved over to Liam, who was being held by her mother. "Bye-bye!" She said, kissing him on the forehead, grinning. Again wrapping her arms around her mother, Tianne offered her a smile, before giving John a small hug. It was a tradition that they had gone through for six years now, of course, John hadn't been there for the whole time, but she had done basically the same thing.
Turning around, to face the train, Tianne grinned. "Well, see ya guys! I'll write, I promise!" Tianne said sweetly, taking her backpack off John and pulling the trolley that the trunk was sitting on. Trying to heave the bag up onto the train, she was joined by a nice looking wizard who merely flicked his wand and levitated the trunk. Offering him a hearty grin, Tianne looked surprised. "Cheers. I guess i owe you one." She smiled, following her trunk onto the train. This was it, this was the start of her sixth year.
Stowing her trunk away into the train, Tianne continued down the carriages. She always liked to sit towards the front, or around there, of the train, for no particular reason. Passing a few occupied cabins, although most were still empty, Tianne just kept on walking, smiling at all the students who seemed as excited as she was. Okay, that was a lie. No body could have been as excited as she was, her state at that very moment was almost illegal.
Still walking along, slightly dazed, Tianne found a cabin that was empty, and seemed to have her name written all over it. Lying down over the seats, in order to save them? No, in order to, well, lay on the seats, Tianne grinned and made herself comfortable. This... was the life.

Before now, Matty had been yet to have an odd experience at Kings Cross Station. Only once had she been running late, but then again, that was bound to happen to everyone at least once in their Hogwarts schooling. No missing owls or missing trunks. No mishaps or drama. In fact, the weirdest thing that had happened to the teenager so far was currently underway right now. Three out of her four family members were unable to see her off. It hadn't been a tradition for ever, granted, but her dad coming to see her off had been. And today? It was just Oliver and herself. Allot would say that the girl may have been feeling rejected or empty inside but honestly... Matilda was doin' just fine, really. The reason being was Jamie had been smart enough to break his collar bone at his football match that morning, and so Ellie had to rush to attend to her son. Cedric, on the other hand, had to fill in for his main chef at his restaurant, after the man was severely burnt when cooking. So, her step mother and own father's goodbyes had been rather rushed, but filled to the brim with emotion, all the same. And Jamie? Well, she'd seen him before his footy game, so the girl had used her eldest brother's mobile to call him nd make sure he was alright. Which he was, of course. So, arriving at the station finally, Oliver helped Matty to drag her case out of his car, and load her belongings on a trolley. The youth even accompanied his little sister all the way to the pathway to her platform, but said his first goodbyes to her in the muggle world. In fact, this had been Matty's first year with Oliver in her life, and his first involvement with her school and magic. "Thanks for everything, Ollie." she said, steadying her trolly before latching onto her brother into a hug. "S'alright, Matts. You take care, and don't get yourself into too much trouble." Matty grinned, pulling away, though placing a quick kiss on his cheek. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever." she teased, before receiving another hug, and before shooed off to the train. The pass through was quick and clean, and the Hufflepuff girl was quick to jump on the train. She left her heavy gear with the loaders, but made sure to grab her slim back pack for the trip there. Wearing a pair of light denim cut offs that ended a bit above her knee, a brown leather belt, a gray tee shirt that had 'slinky' across the front, and a slinky to match, and her afghan scarf, the girl grinned as she made her way through the carriages. Along the way, the teen saw a lone brown haired girl sitting with the door open, and offered her a smile. She looked... kind of familiar, and had Matilda not planned to see Tee before her Raven sister had to run to the Prefects cabin, then she might have joined the girl. But continuing to walk, the teenager was soon to find her best friend... lying down over the seat. "Comfortable?" she said, once having slid open the door. The girl stood there for a moment, before shaking her head, and diving to land on the opposite seat, lying belly-down. "Known when you've gotta go to the prefect thingo yet?" she asked with curiosity, pushing up on her elbows to look over the table between them. Hopefully the girl would have someone to sit with during the trip, namely, her boyfriend. But then again, meeting new people was always fun, even in her sixth year, and the girl didn't have a problem if Em wanted to sit with others. Sure, she was looking forward to seeing him more than almost anything, but it could wait... right?

Chris saw Clayton hop on the train and considered going on and sitting with him, but he had told Luke he'd wait for him. But at the same time, he hadn't seen Clayton all summer and a lot of the last semester, so it would be nice to see him again. And maybe is Luke showed up sometime soon, they could all sit in a compartment together. Chris decided he'd wait a little longer, and if Luke showed up he'd go in with Luke and introduce him. Minutes, which seemed like hours, passed and finally, Chris chose to keep an eye out for Luke - on the train. He gathered up his trolley and pushed it over to the loading dock. Then, showing his tickets, he boarded the steaming train and went in search of his friend. The poor boy was sitting in a compartment by himself. Chris knew what that must feel like - not having friends to sit with - it was both exciting as well as lonely. You could make new friends and that was exciting, or you could try and not have any success and that made things lonely. Opening the compartment door, he beamed in at Clayton. "Hiya Clayton! Can I sit in here with you, mate?" "Chris! What up dude?" he exclaimed when he saw the boy. Chris, was like a best friend to Clayton. They met last year like on the first day of Hogwarts. So today would consider he's known Chris for 365 straight days. He looked around and saw some trash on a seat. He thought they cleaned. Must of forgot this compartment. "So, how was summer?" he asked.

Well, summer had been summer. After a few weeks at home with his mum in Salisbury, he'd gone off to camp for a couple of weeks and met back up with her in France to finish off vacation. All in all it'd been a normal summer, save for the bit in France, and the fact he'd gotten himself a job in Diagon tending to a few plants here and there around the Alley. Though, he wasn't much for traveling his weekends, letting his mother's chauffeur bus him to a station where he hopped a train and was in London in a few hours time. He at least got free room while he stayed weekends, tending to what he loved. Plants.
And the last week of summer was spent at home with his mother, sifting through all of his stuff, finding his letter placed with the rest of the summer mail, and finding quite a surprise in it. Actually, it was enough of a surprise his mother agreed to buy him a couple of new seed packets and pots for the plants to grow in. Yeah, not a bad turn out.
With the help of his mother, he was ushered through the gate well on time, actually, nearly half an hour before needing to be present, but was kept out on the platform to speak with his mother about her plans while he was away. She planned on going to Romania for a few weeks and from there she'd decide where next to go. While they didn't have a ton of money stored anywhere, she was really good about saving to do things while Dustan was at school.
Finally, ten minutes till, she kissed him gently on the cheek, leaving his face redder than a cherry tomato, but he knew it was normal. Even if it was embarrassing. With some difficulty, Dustan started to drag his trunk behind him, aiming to travel up the steps and into a compartment, fumbling with four plants, knowing he had more on the way as Julianna had promised to send them to him by post.
Taking a chance at looking around, he saw Lianna, the girl he'd met at camp, and quickly ducked his head to avoid her. She was nice, but he'd already embarrassed himself enough in front of her and with any luck she hadn't seen his mum's farewell kiss.
Stumbling around, he managed to get everyone on the train in one piece, cooing softly to his rose bush Tanya, before seeing an open compartment door and sliding in, not noticing it was already occupied by an unfamiliar face. Merlin, he needed to to get out more.

The small smile that graced her lips vanished as people passed her compartment without a glance in. In a moment of insanity she looked down at herself, wondering if something was wrong with her that would make someone shy away. Two legs, two arms, a nose, eyes. She had everything a normal girl should. Maybe it's because they know who my parents are.. Abby shuddered at the thought of them. Those who would rather rot in Azkaban for their petty crimes rather then take care of her.
The idea of someone sitting with her was dwindling. Another year alone in a compartment. At least she knew the company would be just as good as last year. After a new minutes of sulking she turned to the window and watched the various families again as they kissed and said their sloppy goodbyes.
Her eyes settled on one family. They were all hugging and smiling, the mother was sobbing quietly as their child stepped onto the train. She could hear the child telling his mum that he would write everyday and that he would eat his veggies. Abigail closed her eyes, putting herself in his place. She was smiling and hugging her mother, doing all the things this boy did.
While she still had her eyes closed she heard some that sounded like someone entering her compartment. She eyes snapped open and she turned to the doorway, seeing someone, a boy in her year. Amazed to see someone actually in a compartment with her she jumped slightly, dropping her backpack onto the ground. A rose tinge found her cheeks, making her look almost as embarrassed as she felt inside.
"Hi," was all she could muster. Her heart was going at light speed in her chest. Abby turned her head slightly to look at her backpack and everything that had fallen out of it. Not wanting to scare him away she bent down and started to pick up her stuff off the ground, stowing it back into her bag. "Sorry for the mess. Didn't expect anyone to sit in here." Abigail looked back up at the boy and tried not to blush any more then needed. "I-I-I think you're in my year, n-n-no?"

Jason Hugged his mother and father then turned and hopped on the train. Jason weaved himself through the crowed of students looking for a empty compartment. A first year bumped into him, when the little boy looked up at him fear ran into the kids eyes. Jason smiled and knelt down and put his hand on the boys shoulder. "your alright lets find you a place to sit" Jason said standing back up. Jason put the boy in a compartment with a group of older students then went on his way to find a compartment of his own. Jason found a empty compartment and went inside and sat down. He looked out the window. and waited for the train to get under way.

Josh had requested that his family leave him before he got on the platform to go back to school. He was not, by any means, embarrassed by his family but he knew that people always stared at them when they were out together. None of them, except the twins, looked like they were related. Josh still hadn't exposed his family life to anyone and they all understood why. They had accepted Josh and his secretive ways and had said their goodbyes outside the station. Josh walked into the station with his trunk by himself, waving goodbye once more before venturing onto platform 9 and 3/4.
A couple familiar faces floated around the platform when Josh reached the other side of the wall. Nobody spoke to him as he wheeled his trunk to a door and boarded the train. Instinctively, the boy glanced over his shoulder even though he knew no one was there to see him off. A light sigh escaped his lips as he turned his head and walked onto the train. The Hufflepuff seventh year searched for an empty compartment in the train when one on his left caught his eye. An extremely familiar face and voice was on the other side of the door and Josh couldn't help but smile. "You mind if I join?" Josh asked quietly, poking his copper head into the compartment.

Prefect? Well this would be an interesting year after all. Dante had not really expected to be given the title, but he was quick to accept it. Only later did he wonder exactly what he might have signed up for, but figured he would be able to handle it. It was not the main thing on his mind right now though. Instead he was focused on the day ahead. The trip back to Hogwarts. His bags had remained packed while he was gone for most of the summer, so aside from the things in his backpack everything was already to go before. It had to get to him however, as he had been staying in London until the time came to go back to school. As he came down the stairs in a gray suit at the bed and breakfast he saw a familiar trunk sitting in a corner of the room. His possessions had made it just in time, as he heard the annoying horn of a cab that was to bring him to the station. A trunk, a backpack and guitar case were full of supplies for the year fit nicely into the back and trunk of the vehicle, and the trip was pleasantly short. And he hurried through the muggle sections of the train station. He did not want to deal with anything in this world for now. The allure of Hogwarts was quiet strong. Granted it was his last time he would get to look forward to such a thing. Seventh year, hard to believe. Dante ended up heading straight for the Student Leader's compartment of the train. Mostly because of the letter he had received from Raynor. She had said for him to do so, and that's what he did. Dante did not look around for familiar faces, on the train, or even out on the station platform. None of the faces would matter, he would run into them all once he got back to Hogwarts. So he found a compartment and took a seat, neglecting to look around if anyone was already in there. He took his fedora and tipped it so it shaded over his eyes. Sitting back in he closed his eyes and began to drift into a dream.

"Summer was brilliant!" Chris said, finding a seat near Clayton. He was on constant look out, however, for Luke.
"How was your summer?" He'd barely seen Clayton in the final stanza of last term, but it felt like they hadn't lost any time at all. Clayton wasn't exactly the person Chris thought he could confide his secret in, his secret about Luke, but if he could get a better sense about how Clayton might react........
He'd lost a lot in his life. If there was one more thing to lose, it would be friends, and Chris was not ready to make that compromise. He'd get a better sense of where Clayton sat on that subject... later, when Luke came.
If Luke came.

It didn't dawn on her until much after her failed attempts to load her heavy trunk into the train that magic was the only way and probably the best way to perform the task at hand. Sighing at her brainlessness, Vanessa reached down into her robes and pulled out her birch wand and pointed it at her trunk. Though her magical ability was mediocre, simple spells was something she had always been able to accomplish with little thought.
With a flick and a swish the trunk was in the air and on the train with little effort. Again, it only proved to irritate the brunette slightly, but just as quickly as she'd been irritated, it went away and with a bob of her head, Vanessa was on her way. She turned toward the train car where everyone was boarding and boarded behind everyone, looking for anyone she could sit with so that she wouldn't be completely alone for the long ride. The person she found first, however, always brought a small smile to her face.
Stepping inside the compartment, the boy was turned away from the door and staring out the window. Usually, Vanessa would have just asked if she could sit down, but she felt a comment that she thought was silly busting in her gut to come out. It wasn't anything to quick or silly, but all in all, it was something she wanted to say. "See anything interesting?" Ok, so it sounded slicker in her head.

Jason Shook his head "Not really, Just a lot of....." Jason stopped. He turned and smiled, it was Vanessa. He hadn't seen her in a while and it was good to see a friendly face. "Hey you long time no talk, whats up?" he asked her sitting forward in his seat. Jason was tired after being up all night talking with his father about his future plans. He smiled Have a seat no ones sitting here" he said nodding to the seat across from him. Jason yawned as the train whistled.

Summer finally over, a new year is starting. Tallulah was ready to make her way back to school. The newly appointed Slytherin prefect made her way into the train station without her parents. She didn't want them to see her any of her friends. She wasn't ashamed of them, she wanted to protect them from her parents. They weren't the most accepting of people. The train station was crowded making her sudden appearance by side-along apparation unnoticed. The family butler Darius made sure she had everything and was off to enjoy his day off. With a sad smile she turned away, ready for another year of magic and mayhem. With her trolley in front of her Tallulah walked quickly toward the divider that would let her enter the other station. Not stopping for a second she ran straight toward it. A few seconds later she emerged on Platform 9 3/4. A rather large smile broke out onto her lips. Finally taking a breath she looked down at her outfit. She wore a grey summer dress, a pair of black flats, and a pair of sheer tights. The most prized possession she was wearing was her shiny prefect badge, polished for the first day back. On her back was a plain backpack with all of her necessary items. Most of all was a present for Dante. Whilst in Italy for her summer she passed a bookstore, an old Italian wizarding book store. When she went in she saw a very old numerology book in Italian that she just had to buy for him. With everything else in order she brought her cart to one of the men on the train and he took care of it. Giving him a grin she turned on her heel and dashed into the train. Tal hopped that she would find Dante soon, hopefully they'd get a few minutes alone. Walking down the aisle she didn't see him, making her frown. Where could he be? Unless he was already in the prefect compartment. With a new smile she made a beeline for that compartment. When she made it to the door she peeked in and saw a boy, her boy, who seemed to be sleeping. A light laugh escaped her as she quietly opened the door and snuck next to him. Sitting down quietly she leaned close to him and kissed his cheek lightly. "Hey...don't fall asleep so soon, the party just started." Her voice was soft, sweet. She only let him hear this voice.

Her head tilted slightly as Jason turned and her smile widened a bit more. At first, it was clear he hadn't figured it out who exactly she was until he'd turned around and it made Vanessa giggle slightly. "Not much with me. I can't believe we're seventh years, can you?" It was still something that boggled her mind. Seventh years? That meant that after this year, there was only life ahead of them. What was ahead of them? Vanessa didn't and couldn't know. Not yet any ways.
The Ravenclaw looked tired and as he offered her a seat, Vanessa nodded and continued to smile. Walking a step forward, and then another, Vanessa put her carryon to her side as she took the seat in front of Jason and nodded at him. "Thanks. I didn't want to sit alone. I haven't many friends though around here that I'm too close with..." it had been six years and though Vanessa had made friends and knew people, she'd never made any friends that were too close. "Though I guess it's my fault," she giggled. "I like being by myself too much."

It's up to you. What if she didn't want it to be up to her? School was just another humiliation that was going to ruin everything. At Hogwarts, she would be alone, save for a few faces she loved to see. At home, she would be dragged into everything her dad wanted for her. Muggle schooling, work, athletics she actually loved, and university. There'd be no question of it anymore, she would be forced to attend when all she wanted was to go to the research facility and try. But if she left Hogwarts, would they give her a second glance anymore? Last year in her contact to them, they sounded quite keen in taking her on, but if she left school...
What if she didn't go home? What if she left Hogwarts but didn't go home? However, looking up at Drew, she knew he wouldn't ever allow that. And looking at him longer, she knew his parents wouldn't allow him to date her at all if she didn't finish schooling. His mum all ready wasn't too keen on her, if she quit, with one year to go, his mum would throw a really big fit about their relationship. Even if it didn't involve her, she knew it would effect everything. And what would Drew think of her if she gave up?
"I don't want to go back," she whispered softly. Not without him, not without those who she'd known for so long. It was only recently she'd met Connor nicely, Dante and Tallulah. Celina had been her friend since day one at Hogwarts, but everyone else she knew was gone. But at the same time, she didn't want to return home either.

The holidays were just as dull as they had always been for Claire. Her parents were always busy at work and there was nothing fun to do in Scotland since her house was surrounded by muggles. That didn't help when it came to practicing Quidditch with her brother. Then again, mum always told the babysitter not to let her even touch a broom. Thankfully Paul managed to make a lockpick so they could hide their brooms elsewhere. At least spending time with grandma and grandpa was as fun as it always was. Actually grandpa had started to teach Claire how to play the guitar about two years ago and now she was really starting to get into it. Too bad dad won't let his daughter take the instrument but that wasn't going to stop the thirteen year old from practicing.
Wow, third year already now that the Slytherin came to think of it. It seemed like only yesterday that she was boarding this train wondering what Hogwarts was going to be like. It was great and by seeing how fast time went by Claire couldn't wait for this year or all the years following. Giving a half-hearted good bye hug to her parents, she and Paul boarded the train and went their separate ways. Now all that was left to do was to find an empty compartment. Wonder if Trixi was already on the train...
