Okay, this was normal for Luce, wandering around London like a muggle, checking her watch frequently, dressed up like she always was. But what was different? Luce was much more nervous than usual, she was almost shaking, she was so ... scared? No. Excited? Definitely. But to the naked eye, youy wouldn't have been able to pick exactly was what wrong, she hid it well. Kind of, anyways. It couldn't have been obvious for anyone to pick it out, what was the chances? It wasn't high, that was for damn sure. But to save everyone from having to guess, Luce was going on a date. A date! This was Luce we were talking about! She was so happy, so excited, and she really liked the guy that she was going with, Sebastian Fraser. Nothing could have made the girl's day better, just looking forward to going on a date with the cutest guy in London. The two had met in the Leaky Cauldron, where he works, and their friendship had since blossomed into something more. The problem though? She was late. Standing outside the restaurant, Luce wasn't really sure if Seb was already inside, or whether he just gone home out of disgust. Heck, when and if he saw her anyways, he would have liked her, she really was dressed up. Okay, so she had her big black coat on, hiding her outfit from the intruding eyes of the public, but as soon as they came in, she'd reveal her new outfit. Pacing across the shopfront, unhappy with herself, Luce decided that she would have to check to see if he was actually in the restaurant, and upon opening the door, the girl saw the friendly face that sent a shiver down her spine. Waving to get his attention, Luce blew the boy a kiss, before talking to the girl that was the receptionist, or something. After being offered to mind her jacket, Luce graciously slipped it off, revealing the outfit that had taken her so long to pick out. She had known that they were going to the trademark 'fancy' restaurant, so she wasn't afraid to dress up. Starting from the head down, Luce's hair was elegantly pulled up, though the curls were falling out, giving the look a sort a casualness. Her dress was one that reached to her knees, and was pure white. With sleeves, and a small hole at the neckline, it was quite nice for this occasion. [ clicky for dress - middle one ]. Worn with high heels that were a tanned color, Luce stepped down the stairs, over to where, Sebastian was sitting. "I 'ope you 'aven't begun with out moi!" Luce laughed, poking her tongue out. She may as well have been a child.

"Okay, stop freaking out. She's coming... she's just... taking her time. Luce wouldn't stand you up, would she?" Seb checked his watch for what would probably be the fiftieth time that minute. "Chill out, just calm down... She hasn't been hit by a car. She hasn't been mugged, she's late is all. No worries. Luce is... Oh, god, what if I told her the wrong place and time? What if she came here and thought it was shabby? I knew we should have just gone to a movie..." Alright, so the boy raving mumbles were beginning to write a story for Sebastian that he didn't particularly know was true, nor did he want to read. And by golly, was the poor kid flipping nervous. Lets get things straight though. Mister Fraser really liked this Luce Beauvais. She was bright, bubbly, caring, friendly, and ultimately gorgeous. The girl he had known for months now just seemed to bring light to to his days. Really, she was what he imagined to be the form and personality of an angle. Sebastian didn't love Luce, no, but he did like her a heck of a lot. Which was exactly why three days ago he had asked her out on a date for this Friday night. After many afternoons of coffee, brunches at a cafe and take out dinners together, the boy had finally plucked up the courage to ask her out to a formal dinner date. And Merlin, had he been ever so excited about it all. Seb had showered twice before he left, having forgotten to shave the slight amount of stumble from his cheeks after the first, and having decided that his hair could do with a second amount of washing. He had been working heavily for the past three days, and though tending to the bar was allot better these days - especially now that he was getting along with Gail - the boy hadn't even spoken to Luce for for the past few days. Anyways, he had showered twice, put on some aftershave and some colon his Uncle had given his earlier that year. To be quite honest, picking out what he was going to wear had taken... the longest it ever had when Seb had gone on a date. But he managed, in the end. Now wearing a pair of charcoal dress pants and a white button-up shirt the youth looked both fresh and smart. The pants were pressed crispy, and topped off with a pair of leather dress shoes. His white shirt was soft, clean and ironed, the fabric pin-striped with the lighter and darker streams of the cotton. Since dressing, Seb had rolled up his sleeves a couple of times so they reached his elbows, and the top button had been undone. Well, he scrubbed up rather well, didn't he? So sitting in the restaurant, the boy couldn't help but glance around nervously. The place was situated on the corner of the street. Each of the two walls facing either street was panels of glass, which was a looking-glass into the lush and gorgeous restaurant. Carpets of plush red, smooth wooden dining sets, complete with a rose on each table and sparkling wine glasses. Everything, in all truth, was perfect. The boy had booked a table in the corner of the place, away from the hustle and bustle, but looking still looking out to the view that consisted of a little lane way that led to a park, with humble sops lining the street. It really was... quaint. Seeing the girl enter the restaurant sent a flood of more nerves, yet relief and joy serging into Sebastian's blood. He couldn't help but grin, as all his fears began to melt away at the sight of Luce. Her dress and goddess-like curls seemed to radiate her beauty, and soon enough, the youth felt himself blushing slightly. Raising in his chair just as she blew him a kiss, Seb straightened up as he remembered to keep cool and suave. Best advice his Grandpa had ever given him. As she approached, the boy stepped to meet her, his periwinkle blue eyes catching her gave. "Of course not. After all, flowers aren't much good dinner company anyway." he mentioned, before plucking up the bunch of a dozen roses that had been behind his back. Hey, he was going to play his cards whether she was expecting them or not. Handing the flowers to Luce, Sebastian then slipped his hand around, letting it settle appropriately on the small of her back. Leaning in, the youth gave her a sufficient kiss on her cheek, before retreating to his own person again. "You look a little flustered, everything alright?" he asked, before walking around to her side of the two-seated table, and pulling out her chair so Luce could sit. If it was one with Seb was, it was probably a first-class gentleman.

Okay, now Luce was beginning to feel incredibly guilty. She had been late before, yeah, but not to someone as nice, as good looking, and as well, awesome as Sebastian. She knew the boy would probably worry, or get angry (Luce hadn't yet seen what the boy's temper would be like, but working in a bar with drunks, well, she had a fair idea). This boy had gone to such a trouble, to ask her out, to book a restaurant, and what does Luce do? She turns up late. This date hadn't started off that greatly, but hopefully the boy would help by making it better.
Luce couldn't help but grin at the sight of the boy, feeling herself melt inside. He was gorgeous, Luce couldn't believe that she, a girl from a small town in France, was going on a date with the cutest of the cutes in London. Life was pretty sweet right now, even if Luce wasn't really liking her Healer-training. She didn't hate that itself so much, but she hadn't made any friends, and the morning commute was getting to be quite a bore for her. But traveling into London for this, well, that was a different story.
Giving the boy a warm grin as she felt his hand slip down her back, a shiver was sent down the girls spine, the effects of which were displayed across the girl's features. Kissing the boy back, lightly on the cheek, Luce laughed as he presented the roses. "Oh, Seb." She said sweetly, burying her nose into the surprise, basking in the beautiful smell that they were producing. Finding the boy again, although her thoughts were racing so hard that it had taken her a while, Luce planted a soft kiss upon the boy's cheek, much like the previous. "Thank you." She said graciously.
Taking the seat that Sebastian had pulled out for her, Luce waited for the boy to sit down before smiling all the more. "You like it?" She said, raising her hand to her hair, twirling one of her curls around her index finger. She had recently dyed it brown, why not, eh? In fact, Luce just wanted to surprise the boy; they hadn't seen each other for couple of days. "Yeah, everything is fine now." She said, finally replying to the boy's comment.

Sebastian felt his cheeks heat up a little more when Luce kissed him a second time, after receiving the roses he had for her. He continued to smile, somewhat to himself though mainly at her. When buying the roses from a curb-cart, the boy had been quizzed by the man selling. He had asked who roses were for, and to answer, Seb had replied 'someone special'. The seller had then questioned what the event was for; engagement, birthday, anniversary, to which the youth had replied 'first date'. And how that had made the old, wrinkled man smile and give Seb the dozen roses for fraction of the price, insisting that he spend the extra money on 'his girl'.
Once Luce had sat, the boy helped to shuffle in the rich wooden chair. After ward, he took his own seat, resting his chin on his left hand which was closest to the window beside them. He managed to nod, still grinning at her. "It makes you look even more gorgeous." he assured the girl, for it really did. Sebastian wasn't really one to have preference to hair or eye colour, but he did know that both brown and blond hair suited the French girl. She still had that elegant, classic beauty about her that reminded him of the queens and gods back in the Roman empire.
Waiting until her hand had fallen to reach across and gently take it in his own, as an after action to her reply. He gave it a small squeeze out of comfort, before jumping slightly and letting go when a waiter approached them. Sebastian grinned at Luce sheepishly, now dragging his eyes to the polished and neat man before them, who bore a thick English accent. "Here are your menus. Take your time to decide, I shall be around in a few minutes so you can place your oder. Can I get either of you a drink? Wine, spirits, juice, water?" he asked, in a smooth and professional manor. At this, the boy turned to his date. "Would you like a glass of wine or something?" not yet wise on what Luce liked to drink at dinner just yet. Well, it was going to take time, wasn't it?

Humming to a tune that only she could here, a tune that was romantic as well as happy and joyful, Luce's guilty conscience had finally melted away. She often created tunes for herself to follow, it showed that she was not bored, but happy and enjoying herself. It was a tendency that the girl had grown up with, something that she figured she would never lose. It wasn't a bad thing, in fact, previous boyfriends had told her how cute it was that she interested herself in stuff like that, although Luce got a little sick of doing so.
Feeling the boy's hand upon her own, Luce's heart gave a flutter, the consequences showing on her face. The temperature rose briefly, before the girl familiarized herself with the soft touch that the boy had. "You're such a gentlemen, Sebastian." She said, her own blue eyes locking with the boys. Her heart could have melted, it was the nicest feeling, although it was shortlived; the boy took his hand away.
Giving the boy a confused glance, Luce shook her head, before looking up to the waiter. Waiting until he was finished, Luce prepared herself to ask the boy, but was beaten to the question, "I think I'll just 'ave a juice." She said, with a half smile towards the boy. "I'm not much of a drinker." The 'r's rolling off her tongue, her thick french accent more that noticeable. "But you can have one. Um, I'll 'ave a cloudy apple, thanks." She said, smiling up at the waiter, hoping that she wasn't stopping Sebastian from getting what he wanted.

"Well I try." Seb admitted modestly, pondering on the thought before adding something more. "But of course, there is reason to act like a gentleman, with such fine ladies like yourself around." the you grinned at her with his boyish charm, sending her a subtle wink as well. It was true, though. Luce only deserved the best, and she had been nothing but good and wonderful to him. In fact, ever since they had met by chance that night in the bar he worked in, Sebastian's life had become so much... joyful. He had things to look forward to, aside from music related matters. Luce really was his saving grace.
Although he had jumped when the waited slipped into the scene, and therefore removed his hand, the boy hadn't yet returned it to his person. It simply lay there, limp on the table. Turning to his date as she confessed to not being a big drinker, Seb merely smiled and nodded. Contradictory to the fact that he worked in a bar, the boy wasn't much of a drinker with dinner. He did enjoy drinks when socializing or such, but he didn't mind just water with dinner. And so thats what he order. "No, thats fine. I don't drink often with dinner either. I think a pitcher of water shall do, thanks." he said with another nod to the waiter, before the man smoothly whipped away to get their orders. Looking back to Luce, Sebastian reached forward for her hand again, the ends of his fingertips gently running over the top of her hand. In all honestly, he loved the feel of her smooth, silky skin against his own. The boy wasn't acting sleazy when doing this, just something subtle and rather calming to settle any nerves either of them may be having. "So how has your week been? I hate admitting it, but it's been a few days since we've spoken." he said, a smiling gracing his features once again, as the youth's bright eyes connected with her own.

Giving a soft laugh at the boy's modesty, Luce rolled her head back on her shoulders. She could not be tired for this, she couldn't. Forcing the yawn to the back of her throat, Luce's gaze was fixed on the table. Was Sebastian embarrassed to be affectionate? Or was he just surprised? Had she read him correctly, or was he one of those guys that was with a girl to well, be with a girl. Sure, Luce wasn't all that keen on the serious relationship, she was more accustomed to things that were more casual, but she didn't want the boy to think that she didn't like him.
Her heart beating harder than it had when his hand had actually been on hers, she felt a sigh of relief when the waiter left, and the hand was returned to hers. She couldn't help but blush slightly, but she laughed it off, although she gave Sebastian a jokingly concerned look. "Embarrassed about me, huh?"She questioned, raising her eyebrows, stroking her index finger across his.
"Yeah, it's been a bit. Well, I've dyed my hair, of course, and I've been looking for an apartment, trying to find one a little bit closer to the happy-haps." She said, shrugging her shoulders. "Not much has happened, I mean, I got a new dog, because my mum's had puppies a few weeks back. How about you?" She said, a half smile across her face.

Sebastian was almost relived when Luce asked him about the initial shock of removing his hand from hers at first. To be honest, he had wanted to explain but... come from him out of the blue, it probably would have sounded very clingy and needy. And despite the fact that Seb wanted to strike up a relationship that had this kind of thing with Luce, he wasn't one to pressure or badger a girl into dating him. Casual at first was always best. He quirked his head to the side slightly, shaking his head softly and smiling as her finger ran over one of his. "Embarrassed of you? No way. If anything, I'm proud to be with you. I doubt theres a luckier guy in London tonight." he explained, another card of charm being played.
As the girl filled in Seb as to what she had been up to for the past days, one of her mentions caught his attention. A new apartment? What were the chances of that?! Barely a day ago, the youth had moved into a two bedroom apartment. He continued to listen, though, not willing to give away his idea just yet. "As I said before, your hair looks wonderful. And a new dog? Whats... his or her name?" he stated with a grin, before continuing on. "About that apartment, though, I think I have a solution and an answer. The past few days I've been moving out of my Uncle's house, and into an apartment in the center of London. Maria, my cousin, was going to move in with me too, but she found another place with some friends. So I'm left paying double rent for two bedrooms..." he trailed off, hoping Luce would catch onto what he was suggesting. It was a big step in a relationship, but as friends, it wasn't all that weird. Was it?

Luce laughed at the boy's expression, almost a relieved one, when she has posed the question that she had asked jokingly. She wasn't really expdecting to hear an answer, and when hte boy's charming comment was delivered, she could only laugh and shake her head. "You're really out doing yourself. You know now that any time that we're together you have to be this charming, or I'll know your a fake." She said, tilting her head on the side, mockingly affectionate. "And I don't think there's a luckier girl." She said, as the drinks were delivered to their table by the same waiter.
"Cheers." She said, picking up her glass and tapping it against Sebastian. Taking a sip, as was tradition to before placing it back down, Luce grinned in pleasure; she really liked this juice. "Why thank you." She grinned, twirling a loose curl around her finger. "And his name is Oscar, or Della, take your pick." Luce shrugged, again brushing a loose finger over the boys.
"And you would be my god, if you could solve my problems."

Seb couldn't help but grin at Luce's mock affection to wards him, as well as her playful stab at him having to keep up the charming act. Well, that probably wouldn't be hard. She had always given him a reason to act this way, without having to show off too much, but he did like to impress her, to make her know she was worth it, too. Raising his eye brows lightly though, the youth waited until their waiter had left until speaking. "Ah, but I can't recall never being charming with you? I mean, come on Luce. Me, a fake?" he teased, lifting his free hand to his heart, and mocking offense, yet his face portrayed him.
Though he quickly returned his hand to his glass, chinking it with the girl's own, taking a light sip of it. He settled his glass back down, taking in what she said about her dog. Oscar, aka Della - quirky, yet cool name if he did say so himself. "Della is a pretty awesome name." he mentioned with a nod and sincere smile. "You would be my god, if you could solve my problems." At this, Sebastian gave Luce's hand a gentle squeeze again, his eyes still glued to hers. "And I would love it if I could solve your problems. Theres even a backyard, so Della can have somewhere to run about in. So whenever you do wanna move in... the place is ready too."

Luce laughed at the 'offence' that Sebastian took. Okay, she knew that he was joking, well, she hoped that he was joking, otherwise the couple had a whole other set of problems, but Luce wasn't actually meaning it in an offensive way. She meant it as a 'I-know-what-you're-doing-but-you-really-don't-have-to-because-nothing-is-worth-the-trouble' kind of thing. "Oh sorry, you're the most replusive, arrogant person I know." She said, poking her tongue out childishly. She wasn't really sure what, but this boy just made her tease, flirt and act like she was a little kid again. But hey, Luce really enjoyed her childhood, she could live with another. "Hey, I know you've got a fake french accent, an impersonation of me going on behind my back. Teasing isn't nice, you know."
Luce couldn't believe her ears. Him offering her a place to live? Should she? Was this boy using it as a buying point? It was totally against what her mother would say, and the morals that she had grown up with, but hey. "You are... an absolute god." She said, blowing the boy a kiss from across the table. "And Della's mostly an inside dog, you wouldn't mind?" She said, seemingly trying to find an excuse not to, but really she was just fishing out some details. "Seb, are you sure about that?"

"Ouch, Luce. That one hurt." Seb claimed, sending her a playful grin though. He knew she was just kidding, and he liked that too. The boy had gone out with a girl once, who was so concerned that was was going to screw up or something, that she wasn't any fun. She would freak out every time Sebastian teased her playfully, and didn't make any room for playing along with flirtatious bantering. He had to admit, he was a big fan of flirting and teasing in that way, it was just allot of fun. He had also dated a girl who had been the opposite, and everything she said was a joke. Everything. That had gotten boring after a while, in all truth. But with Luce? She had the whole thing pin-pointed to the right degree. "Fake? Honey, I'm French at heart." winking at her, Sebastian gave the girls hand another small squeeze.
"Ah, you know, I try." he said, trying to sound modest, rather than cocky about things. Seb gave her his Hollywood smile when she blew him a kiss, the smile hopefully distracting her from the color that rose in his cheeks. Nodding to her questions, the boy continued to confirm the idea to her, as well as himself. "Thats fine, means we get to see more of him. And of course I am, Luce. Just as long as you are, too. I don't want you to feel pressured to accept or anything. I'd never want to pressure you into something." he said, the last part a little softer than the rest, to mark hi sincerity.

Giggling girlishly as the boy teased her back, Luce too loved this kind of relationship. Okay, so most of the guys that she had bagged had fallen victim to the cute, playful, flirty Luce, but she hadn't really felt like this about them. As cheesey as it sounded, Luce could definitely see a future with Seb, she only hoped that he wasn't selfishly leading her on. God she hated guys that were like that, in fact, hate wasn't even a strong enough word in this case. It didn't usually happen to Luce, what with her being gorgeous, smart, funny and french, and as cocky as it may sound, Luce was really lucky about well, everything.
"Yeah, well, I'm French at Heart, on the liver, on the lungs, on the eyes, I'm French inside and out!" She grinned, before grinning all the more at his 'Hollywood' smile. "Look at you, blushing." She joked, as the heat in his cheeks rose. She wasn't meaning to be offensive, but Luce couldn't be bought off by a smile, she looked for other details too. "And I would love that."

"You're French inside out, are you then? Well, I've been told that I'm an excellent French when it comes to the kissing department. So take put that in your juice box and suck it, Miss Beauvais." Alright, so it was a bit of a raunchy, yet kind of corny claim, but Seb made it obvious that he was still just messing with her. His eyes continued to lock with hers, the look in them that of a playful and devilish one. "Look at you, blushing." He gave a shrug, trying to hide the grin on his face, kind of cursing himself for getting a bit carried away. "I've got a good reason to." he confided with another small wink. "So would I..." he then said, earnestly and honestly. "So, what should we order? I bet you can't wait to have me scared off by that creepy waiter again." Sebastian said softly with a laugh in his voice, just in case the man had been in ear shot.

Luce was a child, that was for sure. Here Sebastian had made her feel like she had a crush, that she was special. She didn't know if he was for real or what, but god, she hoped he was. Sebastian was the kind of boy that made her heart flutter, her face grin like there was no tomorrow, and her laughs giggly and girlish. To heck with it, he made her feel like a third grader again. Luce didn't know what to do with the boy, she wasn't even sure if she was that keen moving in that early in the relationship, but she had already accepted, and there was no going back now. "Sure, lets order." She said, grabbing onto the boy's hand sharply, making sure that he could not get away. "Waiter!" She called out sweetly, picking her menu up, grinning evilly towards the boy. He had no idea what he was getting himself in to.
