If Sebastian was asked, on a scale of one to ten, how fast he was falling for Luce, it would probably rate ten. And then, if they were to further ask how hard he was falling for her? Well, maybe an eleven? To be honest, it wasn't love. Not yet, anyway. But there was just this... chemistry between the two, that seemed to raise the bars every time they spoke, even time they gazes got caught in one another, and every time they smiled at one another. Personally, Seb thought that it was a match made in heaven. She wasn't too flirtatious, or too timid. She wasn't too beautiful for her own good, but nor was she coy like that. As much as he could see this working... he wanted it to work too.
When the French girl grabbed his hand tighter, the boy wondered if something had shocked her, only to have Luce call out 'waiter!' Well, that was that, wasn't it? "Oh, you're so going down after we get outta here." he threated playfully. He eyes her for a moment, before picking up his own menu. Scanning down the list of entrees, mains and deserts, Sebastian was quick to decide. Just on time, too, for the sleek man had returned. "I'll have the Thai Beef Salad, thanks." he ordered, giving the girl's hand a small squeeze, grinning back at her.

Luce felt slightly guilty. She didn't trust this boy wholly and completely, did she want to, though? Yeah, she certainly did. It was just her defence mechanism kicking in, she'd stop herself before there was a chance of her getting really hurt. She did it every time, and everytime, she'd stuff things up. He was a boy, he didn't understand any of these emotions that Luce was experiencing, she had always gotten angry at her partners for thinking that they did. Luce had to not stuff this up, this was really, really important to her.
"Not a chance. Did I tell you that I was the French representative hurdler? Well, that just means that I can run fast." She joked, insinuating that she would run away. "I'll have the chicken caesar, but could you please hold the parmesan... You can't? Okay then. I'll change that order then. "What's your fish of the day...? Imported...? Okay, that's no good." She said, pausing to hear the waiter's responses after each question. "Oh, what about the sesame chicken kebabs? Great." She grinned. Luce was a horrible customer, or so the waiter was sure to think.

"Luce, I couldn't care less if you held the World Record for a... I dunno, mile sprint? I'm going to get you back regardless." he continued to tease her, however in the back of his mind, Seb wondered how fast of a runner she actually was. There were a whole lot of questions he was yet to ask her, and hopefully tonight he would be able to dish them out and receive answers in return. Things like her favorite colour, or her favorite flavor of ice cream. If she preferred warm or cool weather, what her childhood was like. So much... and in such a short amount of time, it seemed. But hopefully, there would be chances beside this to get to know her better.
As Luce began to order, Seb managed to draw his eyes from her, and concentrate on the waiter. Merlin, he looked like an impatient man. The youth practically had to stop himself from questions just why they couldn't hold the Parmesan cheese on her preferred salad. Now that was stupid. What kind of fancy place didn't put a hold on cheese? He didn't say anything though, and merely sat there, absently rubbing Luce's thumb, which seemed to calm down his manor. When finally the man had briskly walked away, and threw the order into the chef window, Sebastian rolled his eyes. "Remind me to take you to somewhere less snobby next time we go out for dinner."

"A mile sprint? Oh, that would be fun! Guys, I have an idea, instead of running the 1500m, lets sprint the 1600m." She grinned, poking her tongue out playfully towards the boy that sat opposite. Her could feel his own hand against hers, and grinning happily, she tucked her leg under his. It really was quite a small table, but eh, Luce could bare with that. She didn't know that much about the guy, but she had already developed something of a crush, boyish good looks or not, he had a good personality. "And you aren't going to get me back. Athletic ability, good-looks, french-accent, a quick wit and a sharp mind and well, awesomeness, I think I've gotten you beat out." She grinned, bragging, though she was only teasing.
Luce didn't mean to be the worse customer in the world. She was always picky with her foods, even at home, and she didn't like cheeses; well, actually, she was lactose intolerant. Eating dairy on the first day, well, lets just say that it wasn't very pretty. "I have an idea. Why don't next time we go out for dinner by the river? Maybe just fish'n'chips? Or we could not go for eating, we could go fishing, or swimming, or on a boat, or... Sorry, I like water. Um, maybe I could cook? Ooh! A picnic?" Luce said, more speaking to herself than to her companion. "And there I go." She said, absentmindedly, finally taking her eyes away from Sebastian's.
