Indeed, the longer and more she kissed him, the more willing Felicity was to letting them get caught merely so she could stay in his arms a little longer, but if that were to happen, she'd never be allowed to see him again, she was sure of that.
Relunctantly, very much so, Felicity ended the kiss. It was a sad thing for her to do, but she preferred being allowed to go back to Hogwarts and to see him again over an extremely long grounding in which she'd never be allowed to leave the house ever again.
Smiling sorrowfully at him, she pulled out of his arms; if she wasn't going to allow them to get into trouble, she was going to stop everything so she wouldn't be willing to keep it up a little longer.
Taking Drew's hand, she pulled him back into the house, into the kitchen. Hopefully, things would be well inside.

When she pulled back, Drew leaned in farther, doing his best to keep the kiss going. At this point, it didn't really matter to him if they were cought and he was thrown out on the street on his rear end. All he really cared about was the girl in his arms and how she felt, smelled tasted. Nothing else mattered.
But when she pulled all the way out of his arms, he knew it was over and that was it until they got back to school. He knew girls were a lot smarter when it came to stuff like this, so it was probably for the better. It was disappointing, but what he had gotten had been great and he had a hard time erasing the goofy grin off of his face as she pulled him back into the kitchen.

"Come on, we should find Celina," Felicity told Drew as she pulled him further into the kitchen. While she wasn't worried about her dad asking about them, she wanted to spend time with her friend as well, especially since they wouldn't see one another until classes began again either. "I want to ask her if anyone managed to grab her for a kiss."
Of course, it would all be in jest that she even dared to ask, but the blonde wouldn't have been surprised if someone had grabbed ahold of her. And as Felicity made the way back towards the living room where many were gathered, she was stopped to get a round of kisses from a group of her nieces and nephews.
Turning with a pleasant smile upon his face to the young girl, who was surprisingly alone, he chuckled when she asked her question. "How many stars?" he repeated slowly. "Well, it's almost as though you can see the entirety of the sky above you at night, but in the back of your mind you know it's only a tiny portion of the stars the sky holds. There are enough stars to make one think that nothing could ever compare to the beauty of the night sky."
It was merely a simple explanation, one that hardly did justice to answer the young girl's inquiry, but if she hadn't ever been camping, he didn't want to spoil it for her. Of course, only if they were lucky would there not be one night of clouds and horrible rain, though even if there was, Ib was sure his wife would work a little magic and protect them best as she could from the weather.
However, something else was bothering the older man as his eyes swept over the room quickly. "Celina, have you seen Felicity...or Andrew for that matter?"

As the older Hjort spoke of the night sky Celina's eyes grew wide with excitment. How wonderful it must look! She couldn't wait to go, though she really didn't know if she'd be allowed to go on such an adventure. "That sounds amazing...." she trailed off as she continued to think about it. She doubted brooms would be allowed but there was no harm in asking...though, as she looked around Celina thought better of it. There were too many muggles to safely speak of that type of thing. It was then that Mr. Hjort started to speak of Felicity and Drew.
Celina wasn't sure of what to say exactly. She was supposed to cover for them as they went off and did their thing, but what was she supposed to say. Now thinking about it, the idea speaking with Mr. Hjort wasn't the best she had ever thought of. "Umm....Felicity and Drew? They....they um, were hungry....I think.....probably in the kitchen I'd imagine....." Celina shrugged hoping her face showed her sincerity that she tried to have. Why was it that she was so nervous? She could lie to her....no, she really couldn't lie to her father, but as she looked up at Mr. Hjort she really couldn't lie here either. Where was Alfonz when she needed him?
"I know! I'll go get them!" And before another word Celina was rushing off toward the kitchen, not paying attention to any thing in her path...Her longings at that time were for her brother....she knew she shouldn't have come.

Felicity was stopped by family and Drew meandered a few steps further, smiling back at the blonde as he slowly continued towards the living room. He felt kind of awkward standing around while she got her New Year well-wishes from the kids and he figured he could get started on a few well-wishes of his own with both the Hjorts and the Jedynaks.
So it was a surprise when he ran, almost literally, into Celina. "You heading somewhere?" he asked, rubbing a bumped arm.

The mere expression in the young lady's eyes was enough for Ib to know something wasn't quite the way it should've been. As he watched the girl nearly run away, his eyes followed, he hadn't even had a second to add anything before she suggested finding them. And come to think of it, Felicity hadn't come back down the stairs after grabbing the sweater she'd wanted to because she was feeling chilly.
There was definitely something going on, and he was going to find out what it was.
There were bundles of kisses coming her way, and she almost felt suffocated by the amount of attention she was recieving from the children. While she loved it and adored them, she couldn't help but feel like a mother with too many children. Really, they were grabbing onto her legs, tugging on her arms, trying to get her to the ground. And that was proven quite well as to what they were doing when they began tickling the blonde so as to get her down to a low defense and they could get her even better. The shrieks of laughter weren't anything to be alarmed about, as the giggles surfaced with them, but she couldn't help but try to fight them off while she tried to send an apology in the form of a smile to Celina for not being able to wish her well at that moment.

Running into Drew was probably one of the luckiest things that happened all night, but his question only made her realize that it was the worst thing that could have happened at the same time for if Ib was anything like her father, he'd be right on her tail until she could lock herself in a room. "No....no....not alright.....going away....." Celina ran her hands through her hair. She was coherant and all she could do was stumble over her words not really knowing what to say.
Then looking up at Felicity, Celina shook her head and whispered, "...your father..."

Drew had been teasing of course when he had aske his question, but when Celina responded in panic, he got concerned. The fact that she said Felicity's dad was coming didn't bother him. Drew wasn't kissing her, so it wasn't a problem, right?
Drew looked over at his girlfriend for help, but she was obviously occupied. He wasn't sure what to do about that either. Did she need a hand and if so, was it really his place to break up a tickle fight among family?

Amidst the gales of laughter, Felicity hadn't caught anything Celina had said, but she did see the look on her face. Whatever it was, something wasn't going to be good, but it really made Felicity wonder what was going on. She and Drew weren't kissing, really she was being tackled by her family members, so it wasn't as though anyone could really say anything.
Then a thought struck her, what if someone had actually tried to kiss Celina? Felicity could see that not turning out well, but it made her wonder who would've tried to kiss her and make her have that kind of look on her face? The blonde knew everyone at the party, and none of them had ever struck her as being someone capable of putting that kind of a look on someone's face, especially when Felicity could see Celina blushing more than anything if someone tried to kiss her.
And although she wanted to know what was going on with her friend, she didn't dare leave the children who were doing there best to take her down, and she was struggling to not laugh and give in.

Celina felt a bit worried, though no one seemed at all worried. Maybe it was different, maybe nothing would happen. Celina tried to calm herself, and think about pleasent thoughts. What she wanted was to go home and not have to worry....though that didn't seem to be a pleasent thought much either. How many days were until school again? Celina had lost count.
"Er....what....what I meant..." she tried to save herself from embarassment and smile. "Happy....happy new year....?" Celina decided that it wasn't anything to worry about....no one was worried, then why should she be? Ib Hjort was not her father....he was Felicity's father...and going out with her boyfriend to kiss him at the turn of the new year, must not have been that big of a deal, after all. But then, why did Felicity ask her to keep it a secret?

The words that escaped Celina actually reached Felicity this time, and she wasn't sure why the girl sounded so undecided. It wasn't always like Celina to be fully confident about things she said, but a simple wish of happiness after the turn of the new year was nothing to be nervous about. Unless she was actually nervous for a reason, like someone had tried to kiss her and she'd run away, but even then Felicity was sure the girl would do more than a nervous look and words for something of the sort.
"Happy New Year, Love!" she exclaimed as she picked up one of her nieces from the group and held her close. While it still didn't provide an excellent escape route from her family, at least she could divert the tickling from herself to her niece for a little while. And the plan worked well enough as they began going for the bubbly laughter of the younger child than that of their aunt.
"Celina, love, is everything all right?" she questioned as she got closer to the pair standing just a bit away. If there was something wrong, she hoped the girl would tell her.

Celina shrugged. If there was no reason to be worried, then why should she ruin everyone's good time? "Oh, nothing. I was speaking with your father about camping, though....he says you can see lots of stars." Celina giggled a little, still a bit nervous like, she looked over her shoulder. A shudder crept throughout her body and she tried to shake it off. Celina still didn't have a good feeling about everything.
Getting closer to Felicity though, and out of hearing range of any of the muggles, she whispered in her friend's ears, "I almost asked him in front of like everyone if we could bring brooms with us to ride at night...ya know? Like in the stars..." Celina giggled knowing how silly that sounded and how with her riding ability, she really shouldn't be riding on a broom at night, let alone in front of her mother who she still believed thought that Celina was on the quidditch team of her house. Pulling away from her friend she shrugged again and looked at both Drew and Felicity...."I know...silly," she said, bashfully looking at the ground.
