[ Physical Character Description: ] Long dark curly brown hair with slight, subtle streaks of grey throughout is what sits upon this fairly tall lady of 41 years old. Marie is all of five foot five inch's and that's all she will ever be, considering the fact that she is aging, Marie will most likely shorten in height rather than grow in height. Marie is neither skinny or plump, just always sitting in between the two of them, her hair is styled to perfection, always left out, always curly and always pushed away from her face, Marie hates anything being in her face, her striking brown eyes being the first thing people would notice about her.
Marie's clothing style is nothing of importance, she often dresses in wizarding robes because she is very rarely seen out and about in the muggle world. Marie has a few wrinkles on her face, those being frown lines and laugh lines and a few on her forehead.
[ Personality Character Description: ] Marie is not a very nice person, she often hides behind a falseness of nice personality but deep inside she is not a very nice person and this often comes through her aloofness and apparent bitterness towards people that she does not like. Marie is also a very selfish person and this is most likely due to the fact that she is an only child, she's not selfish towards her children or her students, oh no, but if they step across her personal space in any way, Marie will make their life rather difficult.
Marie's teaching style is a lot like the life she leads, strict, straight forward and down to the point. Marie does not accept lateness, laziness or procrastination, if students aren't in time for her classes, then detention it will be.
Marie does not accept the word's 'can't' or 'won't' in her classes or her life, believing firmly that everyone can do a set task that is set for them, she lives by this rule in her life as well, planning a set time for everything and finding a way to do everything on her list for that day, that being where the words 'can't' or 'won't' fitting into her regime lifestyle. A smile is very rarely seen on her face either, a scowl being the most prominent of feature's on her face at most times.
All though Marie is not a very nice person and likes structure in her life, she does value friendships and relationships and in valuing her friendships and relationships, Marie is very loyal to her friends and partner and could never be anything but nice to them, once that is, she actually finds some friends.
[ History: ] Marie was born in once was a small town back in 1965, called Brisbane which is located in the south east region in the state called Queensland, she was born to that of pure blood witch and wizard, Albert and Florence Curran, on a nice sunshiny day on May 15th. Marie's parent's come from a long line of Professor's and Albert Curran, being once a Professor of Potions had actually helped built and opened a small magical school in the outskirts of Brisbane, or which one might refer to as the middle of nowhere, called Invisible Illusions Enchanting Magical School, where Albert met his wife of numerous years, Professor of Herbology, Florence, or as she preferred to be called, 'Flossie' Macdonald.
Marie spent the early years at home with her loving and caring mother, Flossie, showing magical talented even as an infant, her mother often coming in and finding her young daughter often up on the kitchen bench, and this is all of one years. Flossie would often go in to her young daughter's room, only to find that her young daughter had made her own personal play gym, Marie had actually enchanted her own toys to fly above her bed, strong signs that Marie was on her way to being a brilliant witch.
Marie was only five when the rise of You-Know-Who had started and by then her Mother had gone back to teaching at the magic school and Marie was often bought along, her parents not wanting to let her out of their sight in this time of turmoil. The school was only a small school, often only needing two Professor's to teach the students, but as the rise of You-Know-Who continued, only a handful of students would turn up, so both Albert and Flossie taught the classes, Marie watching from the small play pen that had been erected in the classroom, taking in everything her Mother and Father were saying
By the time that the rise and fall of You-Know-Who had finished, Marie was 22 years old and had graduated with top honors from her parent's school her school report looking something like is:

History Of Magic:E
Muggle studies was the only class she had failed, but Marie saw no shame in getting a low grade for this class, what was the point when she was never going to be around Muggle's and had no use of how to start a toaster?. As her parents were fairly old by now, they had hired a young 24 year old Professor of Divination, Henry Astley who had only just recently moved over to Australia, bringing with him his young family as well. Marie was by now, graduated from her parents school and married to a muggle doctor, the two were only married for four years, Marie finally having enough of the the muggle life and she bought back her two young daughter's, Michelle and Margaret, back to her parent's home and school.
Marie now being twenty-five years old, started to teach at her parent's school, under the guidance of the headmaster, Henry Astley, who was now twenty-eight years old. The pair taught along each other for many of years and the pair had become inseparable, though they never got married, but they have stayed together pretty much like a normal married couple with both of their children, Marie's daughter's, Michelle and Margaret and Henry's son's; Jake, Mark and Joseph and also Henry's young daughter Hannah, who lived with them part time during school time.
With both Marie and Henry staying in London for a couple of months, the Illusion's school was currently being looked after by Headmistress Rosemary Curran, Marie's favorite cousin.
Marie's experience in teaching is:
-starting at a young age, her parents took her along to their classes
-A year working as an teacher's aide to Professor Astley at Illusions Invisible Enchanting Magical School
-20 years teaching at Illusion's Invisible Enchanting Magical School, teaching the above said subjects, but mainly focusing on teaching Charms
-Was headmistress at Illusion's Invisible Magical School for 2 years, before giving it away.
-Receptionist at her ex-husband's Muggle doctor's office.
[ Special talents/knacks : ] Special knack's and talent's?, Marie has plenty special knacks and talent's, her resume and report card stating that Marie was good at everything, well, almost everything. Marie's only other talent would be that of annoying Henry's young daughter, Hannah, the two not hitting it off when they first met each other.
[Writing/Role Playing Example:] Marie sat in the small room in the Leaky Cauldron in one of the chairs that had quickly became her favorite, her eyes closed and several pieces of parchment flapping open over her face as she snored slightly in her sleep. It had been a long day running around after her children, so she had scheduled a nap time for herself and had been reading over some parchment from the headmistress of Illusions Invisible Enchanting Magical School had sent her.
Sleepiness had got to her though and Marie's snoring was getting louder by the minute, the parchment finally flying off the lady's nose and landing on the floor in front of her. Hardly noticing the paper going of her nose, Marie simply went on sleeping, rolling over slightly in her chair to get to a better position.
