Kellen looked over the young boy. Nothing seemed terribly hurt; most injured toddlers he'd dealt with were more scared than hurt when they cried like that. "I think he'll be all right, sir." He looked the young boy in the eyes and smiled at him. Sometimes even the littlest thing could calm someone down. After winking at the kid, he turned information back to the father.
It surprised Kellen how young the man was, if he had a son. And then, all of a sudden, he recognized him...how long had it been since he'd seen Franco? He wasn't sure, but there was no mistaking. That reunion, however, could wait. "Listen, I need you to calm down," he directed Franco. "It'll help you and your son both. What's your son's name?"

"Erm... Hikaru..." he stuttered not sure if had answered that question before or not, he remembered the man had asked it before, but Franco could not be quiet sure if he answered that question, he had thought he did but then maybe he was asking the full name... "Franco Hikaru Masuoka" he answered this time thinking stupidly that somehow that piece of information was actually going to help the little one.
Then, not knowing what to do to calm down himself, the kid and make things easier for the man trying to help, Franco sat back down on the swing with the baby on his laps and tried a smile just like Kellen did figuring that that would help make Hikaru feel better somehow...

"Thanks," Kellen said. It was good to see Franco calmer; kids often reacted to their parents' emotions and agitation wasn't going to help either of them. Already, things seemed to be going better in their situation.
He got down onto his knees so he was about at eye level with the little boy on the swing. "Hey, Hikaru? Hikaru, my name is Kellen. My job is to fix bumps and bruises. Do you have anything you need me to fix?" He wasn't a big fan of talking down to children, but when it came to crying, very young children, sometimes it was necessary.

Hikaru still moaned while rubbed his eye still upset at the whole situation, it was so scary do not quiet understand what was happening, why daddy had acted so strangely mad and other people were also being hurt. He gave a glance at the smiling man and burst in tears again... then looked at daddy and it seemed he was smiling too... which confused the kid a little bit. One second they were all yelling and hitting, next second they were smiling. Hikaru stopped moaning a little bit just watching their strange behavior.
Why are you smiling! why you smile too daddy? uhmmm?? he looked at Kellen as the man spoke to him but the little one could not quiet catch what he was saying, but he seemed nice and comforting enough to tell him what bothered him.
I fell! It hurts... daddy's hurt, everyone's hurt... ow ow ow ow! owie there! owie here! owie! owie! he tried as pointed a his knees and showed a little scratch on his palm, then pointed at Drew also injured and daddy also injured EVERYBODY HAVE OWIES! he started again crying.
Of course, the only sounds that came out of his mouth were things like "Pum! Pum! boo boo... papa! Pum! ayayay! yaya!"

Drew was going to ask Kellen what he was doing there, but the former Head Boy moved on to Franco with a promise to be back. In the space of a few steps it was just Felicity fussing over the Ravenclaw's injuries. Drew really didn't mind too much. His head was kind of swimming, but on the whole, he didn't think it was anything he needed a healer for.
"I'm okay," he told Felicity again, sucking on his teeth sharply as she touched his face. It stung, but he knew he had definitely suffered and survived a whole lot worse. As much as he liked the attention, he really didnt' want her to worry over him unnecessarily.
"Drew I don't think that was who you thought it was," she said with some hesitation and he looked over to Kellen, the baby, and the young man that looked so much like Franco. He was definitely a few years older, but the look and the accent were undeniable. There just couldn't be all that many Spanish-speaking, blue-haired, Japanese wizards out there.
"It's gotta be him," he mumbled, though he was obviously confused about it himself. If it really was Franco, then why had he reacted like that?

Even though he kept trying to convince her that he was all right, she wasn't about to believe it. He could get in so much trouble, then he wouldn't be all right, and he was hurt, she could see that. What she wished she had was her trusty first-aid kit, the one without asphodel because it was a muggle kit. In fact, she was more than sure it was still located in the room they had been using for the paper before it was abandoned and left to another to take up.
"But if it is, then why did he do this?" she stressed in a whisper, taking only one glance back at the other two boys. Why would he do something so horrible, even if the child had been hurt, it was no reason to fight like they had. It just didn't make since to Felicity, especially if they were supposed to be friends.

Kellen thought for a moment. The kid had seemed to calm down a bit, but looking at everybody else's bumps and bruises had just gotten him started again. Kellen couldn't tell if the boy spoke English, but the pointing at his knee certainly helped the healer know where to start.
"Hey, buddy," he said soothingly. "Hiraku. I'm going to do a little spell to help your knee. Then I'll help your daddy and Mr. Drew with their bumps and everybody will be better, all right?"
A quick wave of the wand and Kellen cast a very gentle pain-relieving spell. It wasn't always safe to do such spells when he didn't know the extent of the injury--too strong and it could backfire and cause extra problems--but the one he'd cast didn't pose any harm.

Hikaru just rubbed his eyes looking at the man with curiosity, waitinf the him to magically fix the disaster he found himself around. But then something else caught his attention, a long stick the man had taken in his hand and the kid had seen just once before. Hikaru gaspes as he could swear he saw a little spark coming from that thing!
Woahh! Have you seen that daddy! the boy looked up at Franco, surprised then back down at the wand Oh! do it again! do it again! the boy looked at the healer not even caring about the pain, he did not feel anything but excitement now at that toy in front of him.
I want! I want! Hikaru's eyes just fixed on the wand while leaning a little forward, he tried to grab the part he had seen sparks coming out from.

The young boy's reaction to his wand confused Kellen; hadn't Hikaru ever seen magic done before? He wasn't a Muggle, as far as Kellen could tell, and even if he was the boy lived in Hogsmeade. Simple spells were everywhere.
He didn't want to upset the kid again, but Kellen was very wary of letting anyone else touch his wand. His first had been snapped about a month previous, and though he'd gotten used to its replacement he didn't want to risk something like that happening again. "No no, Hikaru," Kellen said, pulling his hand back. He looked to Franco; he was worried the boy might throw a tantrum and hoped his father would help.

Franco could not help feel relief at the kid's reaction, even when it seems to upset the healer a little. If the baby showed interest in things and so could forget anythig else just to satisfy his childish curiosity then he was just fine.
"oye! oye! mira mi mano oh!" he whisper to the kid while took his little hands on his own and made little sparks dance between his and the little one's hand so to catch his attention. He knew his baby liked that game "I am sorry" he apologized to Kellen "he is too curious for new things, specially the ones that sparks!" he said smiling slightly as he could not help it. Seeing Hikaru being his normal self was just comforting.
"I... guess he is fine" he said giving a nervous glance at Drew and his state. It was obvious he had overreacted toward him and now felt embarrased and guilty because of it "I... I am sorry. I, overreacted" he said to Drew this time not even able to hold eyes contact with the other guy.

"I don't know..." he answered sadly, taking a pause in Felicity's fussing to check his own injuries. He let his fingers carefully glide over his own lip, nose, and cheek, checking for swollen and split skin. His lip was definitely busted and his nose felt out of wack and he was pretty sure he was going to have a doozie of a black eye in a few minutes.
Drew let his gaze drift back to the cluster of three on the porch. The baby seemed to be more scared than anything, but it was good that Kellen was looking after the tyke. Drew didn't trust many healers but he he had full confidence in his old house mate.
And the other. It had to be Franco. There was just no mistaking it.
"I don't know..." he mumbled again, leaning his throbbing head against Felicity just as Franco spoke to him. Drew raised his hand and brushed off the appology, letting Franco know it really wasn't needed. Drew just felt to sore and miserable to really worry about it.

As Drew's hands checked on his injuries, Felicity removed hers from his face and fussed with getting her sweater off so she could make more use of the rest of the cloth that wasn't mottled in blood it'd soaked from him on her sleeve. He didn't look awful, but definitely not that great either, though she'd seen Jacob come home looking worse so she knew she didn't have too much to worry about, but she couldn't just not worry about his condition either. As soon as Drew's hands left his face, Felicity's were back at it, trying to be as gentle as she could about dabbing here and there, wishing she had confidence enough in her spell casting to wet down a little bit of her sweater with cold water, but she figured if Drew wanted something like that he'd tell her and make it happen himself.
When he leaned into her, instinctively the blonde's arms wrapped around him to hold him closer, but not tightly. And as the apology came and Drew made his response she glowered, not at either of them as she wasn't facing the three boys and Drew wasn't where he could see her expressions. While a part of her was glad Drew was so willing to easily forgive, another part of her was mad at him for being able to do so so easily.

Kellen smiled again at the little boy, but then turned his attention to the sparring pair. He wasn't really a fan of this trend; everywhere he went lately, it seemed he needed to use his healing training somehow. Of course, this was hardly anything.
"Alright, then. Drew, Franco? Oh by the way, Franco, it's been forever--how've you been? Besides ... busy?" he added with a glance toward Hikaru. "We'll catch up in a minute here. Either of you need any first aid spells or what?"

Drew's gesture did not ease that sensation of guilt for have had a go at that guy and though he could not see the girl's face he could guess that between Drew and Felicity, the girl was closest to snap at him than Drew. At least be married had taught him something.
But his thought could not go any further than that about that matter as the healer spoke again this time to say something with no sense at all for him. 'It's been forever?' what did he mean with that? Talking as if they had met before. The man looked in confusion looking at Kellen and digging inside his head for any memory of such a person, but he did not remember had met any healer and though the healer's physical appearance was alike others in that part of the world, Franco was almost sure it was the first time he had ever seen him.
He just looked in silence at the trio, trying to order things on his head. It was not the first time that something like this had occurred. A week ago, a woman had also acted like recognizing him from somewhere, and the first weeks in Hogsmeade, a young girl had also thought they had met somewhere before... In other times he would have thought that probably these people had recognized him from any foreigner newspaper but none of them looked nervous or afraid at him for what he, this time, discharged that first thought that always popped up on his head, that they had associated him with the Deva.

Drew didn't argue any when Felicity went back to fussing over his face. Most of his compliance came from being sore and slightly dizzy, but a small voice in the back of his buzzing head was trying to convince him he needed to get his butt kicked more often. Or maybe it was just the concussion.
Kellen made it over and Drew squinted up at him. Felicity's make-shift first aid was helping, but he still wasn't feeling too great. He trusted Kellen to know what to do, but he'd rather avoid any spells is possible.
"Is the baby okay?" he asked quietly, more worried about having hurt the kid. "Hey Kellen... that guy looks a lot like Franco, huh?"
