He just eyed his friend but did not say anything else about Drew's state, it was obvious the drink was hitting on him a little bit faster than he had expected it but found that so funny that did not bothered any comment about it anymore.
"I dunno..." he said as he had never drank enough to get sick, not this particular drink at least... "I guess so... it is alcohol after all" he said shrugging "I guess all of them have similar effects on that point... but I have never drank enough of this to get sick so" the man replied as gave a look at the drink. Back at his home it was usually used for medical purpose, and kept well saved, there were drinks easier to get and more effectives in matter to get drunk...

"Akahol?" Drew asked incredulously. He made a sputtering sound of disbelief at Franco's claim. There had only been one time before when Drew had drunk alcohol and that had been a bad day. All Drew really remembered was something about a duck and then throwing up on the quidditch ref's shoes. He had gotten in huge trouble from the man as well as his girlfriend, but neither compared to the massive headache he suffered through the following day.
Okay, so he was feeling a little dizzy right now, but it had to be different. The sensation had to be the cleansing properties of the root elixir. "Snot akahol. You say dit was jus roots, right?"

"Yep... fermented roots" he said looking curiously at his drunk partner wondering if Drew knew about the process of getting those strong drinks. He himself wasn't a expert about the process of alcohol but he knew it could be get from simple plants... and roots...
"Ermm... you don't drink alcohol?" he asked raising an eyebrow in disbelieve, he did not know anyone around his age that weren't at least social drinkers. But the poor knowledge about drinks Drew seemed to have made him suspect that probably he had just met the first one.

"Iss fermenid?" he asked, unsure if he heard right. Of course, he knew what that meant and Franco's question only confirmed it. "Were I'm gunna get akahol?" he asked, knowing his parents wouldn't allow it even if he was of age in the United Kingdom. His friends weren't really big drinkers so it just really hadn't been something he thought about.
Until now. And quite honestly, thinking so much was making him slightly dizzy. "Emeber when we were kiz an we had tha messed up budderbeer?" he asked with a goofy grin. He distinctly remembered throwing up on the quidditch ref's shoes and the massive headache afterwards. Everything else was kind of fuzzy. "Wha ever happen to tha duck?"

"uhmm... dunno... maybe" he said shrugging as really he had never got drunk with that, for him there were less expensive drinks to get drunk with... "Perhaps you should take a little break..." he suggested as turned to look for food or any snack to accompany the drink.
"Want some snacks or something?" he asked while already started looking for it. He thought it would not be a good idea to have a Drunk Drew around when his kid was sleeping upstairs. And as it was obvious that Drew was definitelly a rookie, Franco though it was better give him something to eat, in case he had not eaten anything... as he had many times heard, it was better have eaten something before start drinking... it was a little too late now but he had to try it.

"Naw... thass okay," Drew answered, feeling fine and not sure why Franco looked so concerned. Maybe because it had suddenly gotten very warm in the room and he was worried about Paquito sleeping upstairs. The best thing to do when you were getting hot was to keep hydrated. Drew pushed his cup towards Franco, ready for more. "I'm goo wif jus dis."
Then again, he was always up for something to eat and if Franco was offering, he would be happy to oblidge. "Bu yeah... you gosssumfin to eat?"

Even before Drew's answer Franco was already serving on a small bowl some toasted corn, as his answer did not really make any difference for Franco, either way he himself wanted something to eat. It was not much but while he prepare something else he thought it would be a good idea to start feeding Drew with that.
"There. Help yourself!" he said placing the little bowl at Drew's reach "Start with that while I prepare something... do you want something special? Hamburgers? fries potatos?" he asked not paying too much attention at his guest but his eyes already searching around for what he might need to start cooking, a frying pan already flying toward the stove with a slight move of his hands, all getting ready for cooking.

Drew was offered a bowl of corn nuts and while they weren't his favorite, he ate them anyway, positive that somehow they'd relieve the dizziness he was feeling. So much for those roots having a curative quality.
"Burger! Papas fritas!" Drew answered excitedly knowing a burger and fries was way better than corn nuts anyday. "Heyheyheyheyhey! You nee some help?" He was pretty good at frying up a burger.

"It is alright" Franco said with smiling as could not help find Drew's spanish amusing. He had not heard people speaking spanish ever since he had came to live there.
"I run the place on my own all the time, one single order won't be a problem" he said grinning while magically potatos flied ready to be peeled and cut by a sharp knife, any single thing seemed to be working according to Franco's thought. "Anyway most things are ready to just the cook part."

Drew was busy dancing in anticipation of some good eats. He hadn't had a decent burger and fries in ages and the British just didn't know how to do it right.
"No, I kin hep if you nee me to," he said, jumping out of his seat to follow Franco into the kitchen. Unfortunately, his feet got tangled and he ended up face down on the floor, not exactly sure what had happened or why he had fallen.

"Aw! are you alright?" Franco gasped as at once went to help Drew up. He was not just concern because of Drew's falling though but concerned that he really wanted to help... he did not look like in condition to help cooking, indeed he did not even look in condition to walk...
"It... it is OK... I..." he stutted trying to find a way to politely tell Drew he better does not set a foot in the kitchen. But then Hikaru started crying upstairs. It could have been just that the little one had waken up and as usual miss daddy but it could be also that he needed something, after all the baby was sick.
"Wait here, OK? ermm... don´t move! just... just wait.. I will be right back!" Franco said just making sure Drew was up on his own feet and rushed upstairs.

Drew lay where he was for a while, nodding back that yes he was okay... or at least he would be as soon as the room stopped moving. No wonder he had fallen. When he thought it was safe, he staggered to his feet, waving Franco off as Paquito's cries came from upstairs. He would be fine as long as he had the chair to hold on to.
Once the freak earthquake seemed to slow down, Drew made his way to the kitchen, figuring the least he could do was fry up the burgers while Franco was busy. His old house mate had been nice enough to let him hang out, and this was Drew's way of paying the guy back.

Franco pushed the door open and rushing in he went straight to pick up the little one gently on his arms, then checked his temperature and the color on his face. For a second he was afraid that he might need a healer but things turned to be OK, as usual Hikaru just was having a tantrum after wake up, his temperature was now normal and as soon as Franco took him in his arms the little one calmer down a little bit.
"Papá está aqui... daddy is here..." he told the baby while rocked him slightly and started just talking as usual as if the baby could really reply "Feel better uh?... mejor? mejor?" he said with a smile while tried to cheer him up, get him in a better mood. Though at the same time wondering what would be the best thing to do now, he did not think he could put Hikaru into sleep again, the baby did not look like sleepy anymore... on the other hand he had a drunk friend downstairs...
"Oh! Drew!" he just whispered as remembered the state Drew was when he left him... and he was in the kitchen! Franco turned, his eyes looking for the house elf that should be around there as he had asked her to take care of the baby "Anda abajo" he said to her "asegurate de que Drew, el pata que esta en la cocina, no queme la casa".
The house elf nodded and at once disapparated, apparating down at the kitchen.
(OOC: Go down. Make sure that Drew, they guy in the kitchen, does not get the house on fire)

Drew was clattering around the kitchen, looking for a proper pan to cook the burgers in, when he finally found one conveniently on the stove top. Quite coincidentally, it also had a couple of burgers already in it. Now all he had to do was figure out how to get the stove top going. Drew was pretty sure Franco had one of those complicated Peruvian models because the dials looked totally foreign to him.
Fortunately some help popped in and Drew was pleased to see the tell-tale ears signifying that he had some assitance.
"Heyheyheyheyhey! Youra howzelf!" he answered excitedly, pointing at the creature. "Okayokayokayokay... I have a qweshun for you. Your not feeling opreshed or anyfing, right?"
"Perdóneme señor. No comprendo," the house elf replied in a squeaky voice, causing Drew to bust up with laughter. The creature sounded almost exactly like that cartoon mouse, Speedy Gonzales. The elf paid no mind, pushing Drew aside and starting the burgers on its own.

Hikaru did feel way better and even better now that daddy had came for him. Wake up and do not find him in was always something somehow frightening, what if he did not come back? just like what happened with mommy. Well, he smiled pleased at Franco, that would not happen with daddy, he always came in... a little cry and he was there, that was good.
The little one giggled at the funny faces daddy was not just doing while sent the house elf... who knows where... and now daddy was all for him. The baby rested his head playfully on daddy's shoulder while covered his face with his little hand, then suddenly raised up "Booo!" he called out and giggled.
