Ah, the simplicities in jogging. One could go on for beyond an hour or so, keeping a simple, pleasant jog with themselves. To prove the task harder, one could also rival another with jogging, trying to keep your own pace above theirs. This could be quite the task, when the period of jogging last more than an hour. But this wasn't the first time Seth had jogged along side his best friend, and that was a challenge in itself. Ryan was allot stronger and faster than Seth on land, and that made jogging with him a very difficult task. He enjoyed it allot, considering it kept him very fit, but it was a hard task at that. The two boys had been at it again, for the third time this week-day. It was late afternoon, the sun was setting, and dinner would was farther away than Seth had hoped. The boy had just departed from the Courtyard with Ryan considering it had started raining halfway through their jog, and made his way slowly to his Common Room. Sure, it wasn't the brightest place on Earth, but it was cool, and dark, and Seth felt very appropriate for these matters.
The Slytherin coughed out the password, and entered the room. His brown eyes were thankful when they searched, and found no one else in the Common Room lounging area. Well, thats what he thought anyway. The teenager wiped the sweat from his brow, before pulling off his tee-shirt, to reveal a white singlet; which wasn't as soaked from the rain as his shirt was. Seth walked over to the rug, and instead of collapsing on the comfy couch, he dropped to the rugged surface, finding the covered ground cooler than that couch would have been. He slid the shirt under his head for support, and shut his eyes properly for the first time in a few hours. His muscles ached. His chest throbbed. His heart was still pumping. His clothes and body looked glazed because of the water. The teen felt tired, and didn't bother to even open his eyes when he heard footsteps on the stone floor.
Jogging was silly anyway.
