Anna peeked into the girl's room, praying she was completely alone. Seeing she was she walked over to one of the wash bins and bent over to look in the mirror rinsing a green cloth in the lukewarm water. She gently pressed it on a spot over her cheek, wiping away make-up that she normally did not need. However underneath the foundation was a bruise, on its way to healing but still a mixture deep purples and blues.
Despite the clothes softness, Anna winced as the water splashed over her face. When she was finished she gently ran a finger over the discoloration, a blend of anger and sadness fusing in her eyes.
