"I know," Arianna nodded knowingly. She had another potion that worked the same. Except that one wasn't supposed to knock her out. Of course, that was when the proper ingredients were used. Arianna had to use a substitute for nettles. That little change made her sleep the day through. Which she figured was okay. Those girl problems usually left her lying in bed for a full day anyway.
"I bet some muggles would like this stuff," she commented, her eyes still on the potion. "I think the stuff they use has to be taken an hour or so before bedtime."

Kellen gave a small smile. "I bet some muggles would like a lot of the things we have in here," he said, motioning around the Hospital Wing. "And, for that matter, things we have everywhere else, too."

"Oh, definately," Arianna nodded in agreement. Muggles would be amazed at the things they could treat with the right potions. It didn't mean EVERYTHING could be cured, but it was more likely in the magical world than in the Muggle. "They'd probably never figure out how to repair broken bones in less than a month."

"Six or eight weeks, usually," Kellen said absentmindedly. "Sometimes more. It depends how bad the break is, where it is, that kind of thing. They just keep everything still and try to let it heal on its own. Well, kind of. I'm not entirely sure how it works, actually. Never broken anything, not in the Muggle world or here, either." It was a small thing, but he was kind of proud of that fact. He just hoped it kept up.

"We should ask Drew," Arianna joked. She didn't really think Drew had ever had anything healed in a Muggle hospital. Why would he when his family were pure-bloods? But he had been in the hospital more than his fair share.
"Though I did bust my knee once," the girl continued with a small shrug. "The doctor said I'd have to be in a brace for few months. Even at that, they didn't think it would work as well as it's supposed to. Which is why I got it fixed once I got back here. Good as new again."

"Magic really is a brilliant thing," Kellen said with a smile. By now the two were out the door and on their way back to the common room. "Sure, it's messy and it's complicated and it's hard to understand a lot, but it's brilliant."
