{Since I don't have anyone online right now to ask I'll assume certain things in this post. Such as: some clothes spread around the room and on the floor (dirty or not doesn't make a difference), beds undone, some other random things laying around. If I commit any kind of mistake at assuming any of those things please do correct me. I'll promptly fix my post. }
After the more than agitated first night Dante had had at Hogwarts there hadn't been much time to survey the room he was sleeping in. Though this situation changed when he woke up the next morning. At seeing the state the dorm was in he thought he was going to pass out. Since some were still fast asleep he planned to take the matter in his hands later on when everyone was out of the room doing something else.
He took his time during most of the morning to take a shower, eat something and arrange the stuff inside his trunk. He went in and out of the dorm many times, almost enough to seem suspicious to others, to check if the area was clear to perform his task. After what seemed like an eternity of surveying the area the room was finally empty of the rest of the inhabitants.
Once inside he closed the door and rested his back against it.
"What a mess," he said to himself as his scrunched.
Picking up the clothing and folding them would be the first thing to do. From there on he could take care of doing the beds and any other task the house elves had neglected from doing in this room what seemed like ages ago.
Quickly he proceeded to gather all the garments on one of the beds. The task had to be done as quick as possible if he intended to do it while no one was there.

Samuel walked in for a nap, but heard a noise and woken from his daydream suddenly. He saw another Ravenclaw older than him. He never met him, so he sort of asked, "Hi, um, I'm Samuel, a first year. Y-you?" he asked still a quarter asleep. He smiled waiting for a response, but looked down at the letter. It was a letter he found at his old burned home.
In my restless dreams I see that school. Hogwarts. Ryan, you promised you get a job for me there. But you never did. Though, I'm here waiting for you. In this empty room, alone. Hell is so cold now. But my heart is very colder. I need you now, more than ever.

Dante jumped slightly when someone talked to him. So much for cleaning some of the mess and not being discovered as the perpetrator of this task.
Trying to dissimulate he sat down on the bed, which he didn't knew to which of the boys belonged, and tried to hide the pile of clothes behind him.
"Dante, fourth year, just arrived here yesterday," he replied as casually as he could manage to.

What was a living nightmare for any neat-freak? Why, a four foot nine first year, covered from head to foot in mud leaving splatters of slobbering, wet dirt in his wake.
Such was the case as Jase trudged into the Boys dorm, slick with mud from head to toe, matting his hair and caking him all the way down to his shoes. Now, one would ask how such came to be. Jase would argue that he had been attacked by the giant squid, pulled down to the bottom of the lake, and then spat back out onto the grounds in this condition. The reality was that he had slipped in a giant puddle left from last nights rain and had had one dandy time trying to be back out of it.
Almost loosing his footing twice, Jase stumbled, depositing a great portion of the mud on the floor and letting out a squeak. He needed another pair of robes, swim trunks, a towel, and it was off to the bathroom -- and he was not alone.
Only then did he notice the other two occupants, and two bright gray eyes peered at them from the mud. One he took class with. The other he had seen around, but never talked to, and wait, what was he doing with the clothes?
"Hey! You're not cleaning are you?" the first year demanded. It of course flew over his head that he might have just interrupted a conversation.

Dante's insides twitched in pain as he saw the young boy come in. Not only was there another person in the room but two. To make matters worse the last one to come in was covered from head to toe in mud and was dripping it all over the place. Not being able to stop it he covered his head with both hands and gave a prolonged and exaggerated sigh. Could this get any worse?
In an attempt to compose himself and act as any other normal boy who lived in this mess they called room he shook his head in reply to the question.
"No, why would I?" he questioned with a surprised expression on his face. "I'd have to be insane to do that. Who in their right state of mind would clean the room without it being forced upon them, don't you think?"
He could only hope that he hadn't over done it with his response. Sometimes denying things too much made the others grow more suspicious.

(Never ask 'can this get any worse?' ;D )
Hiro entered the room after meditating down by the lake, now that most of the students were done eating he was going for some food, though he had to stop in the room first. The blind prefect entered just as an odd silence clouded the room, probably something to do with his speech moments ago though he didn't hear most of it.
"My my sounds like you've made quite the impression." The blindfolded student said. "...so why does this place smell like mud?"

Normally, Jase would have given a satisfactory nod, waddled the rest of the way to his bed, and made a merry old time of it. However, this was just plan fishy. Even one of Jase's minute common sense could figure that one out. After all, the pile of gathered clothes was a mixture of all the boys clothes (including a suspicious pair of rubber-ducky boxers that Jase would deny claim to).
"No one, but --"
Whatever Jase had been about to fiercely argue was cut short at the appearance of Hiro. At the prompt question, the little lad shifted from foot to foot, and thus having to wipe dripping mud from his hair from his face.
"Erm, I had a run in with the giant squid," he said quickly. Most certainly not going to admit the truth. The squid story at least held something for his dignity.

{I should have seen that one coming ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) } Dante was still a bit tense when waiting for the younger boy's reply, that he could not hide, but luckily enough for him -or maybe not- someone else entered the scene. He was highly tempted to make a comment along the lines of 'doesn't it always?' but, on a second thought that didn't seemed a good idea. This probably was a moment in which staying silent and playing statue was the most appropriate thing. So he sat there, on the bed, not daring to make any move that might attract the attention to him, hearing to what the other had to say.

"And you came here first!" Hiro was not a neat freak, he usually could care less about what things looked like. But to have the dorm smelling like mud and things having the dirty feel is not something he enjoyed.
"Here take this towel..." Hiro went over to where his clothes and stuff were but no longer. "That's odd, I could've sworn it was around here."

Dante's cheeks suddenly were covered with a slight pink tone.
"Which one is it?" he asked turning around on the bed, now facing the pile of clothing, ready to search through it.

"The one next to my socks." Hiro had a very simple system in how he kept his clothes. The clean socks were next to the towel and dirty shirts. He was padding the ground with his hand trying to find any of his clothes, clean or dirty. All he felt was the carpet.
"Well take one of your own towels and at least clean up so you don't smell like dirt. We can take care of the mess here."
