Lily lay on the cold stone floor. It felt so good to her feverish skin. She hoped she wouldn't throw up anymore. She didn't think there was anything left to throw up anymore. She wasn't going to move though. She felt awful. She was sicker than a dog. ((Where does that expression come from anyways? Lol)) The fact that Lily's immune system had never been strong and combined with the fact that she hadn't been sleeping well had helped her to catch something. And now the fever was burning up in her small body.

Drew was making his last pit stop before heading off to bed after having his 2 a.m. snack. He was just about to enter a stall when he saw a pair of legs sticking out from under the door of another. Someone was sleeping in the bathroom apparently and by the foot size and skin tone, he had a good guess who it was.
"Lily? You okay?" he asked.

"I feel awful," Lily mummured almost incoherently. She didn't bother moving from her place on the floor. It was so nice and cool. So what if it was a bathroom floor? Right now she just really didn't care.

"What's wrong?" he asked, forgetting his own needs and bending down near the stall Lily was in.

"Other than the fact I've spent most the night puking," Lily said, slowly turning her head to look at Drew. Her face was paler than normal.

Drew leaned over to feel her forehead. "You're burning up," he told her. "We should get that fever down."

Lily mumbled something incoherent and closed her eyes. She really didn't much feel like talking. Actually, she didn't much feel like doing anything.

"Come on, Lily, you can't stay here," Drew told her, resting a hand on her shoulder. She felt clammy and he wanted to get her to the sink to cool her down.

Lily shook her head. She wasn't about to move. "I'll remember that," she started weakly. "Next time you feel like crap."

Drew was tempted to just drag her out by her legs, but doubted she'd appreciate that in the long run. "So you're just going to stay there?" he asked, wondering if he dared trying to pick her up.

"Maybe," Lily mumbled. She wouldn't be much for long conversation right now. As long as she herself wasn't having to exert energy she didn't have into getting up she was good.

"Come on Lily, at least get out of the stall," he told her, trying to get an arm underneath her. It was an awkward position and he wouldn't be able to do it unless she helped a little.

"The floor is cold," Lily mumbled. "It feels good." She wasn't about to move, at least on her own two feet.

"So's the shower," Drew insisted, thinking that maybe pulling her out by the ankles WAS going to be his only option. "Plus it's not so nasty... come on out of there."

"Fine," Lily said. She slid herself out of the stall, only to remain lieing outside the stall door. "I'm not moving anymore."
