( well if you got off of them, I wouldn't have to grab at the piece that must obviously sticking out from under your bum ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ) Now Alexander was becoming more frustrated than not. All of his clothing were everywhere, and Seanna still sat upon his underwear (his eyes were playing tricks on him obviously) and now that everything was all over the floor he realized that they weren't going to be as pressed as they once were. The dust Alexander didn't mind. Dust was everywhere and he had had to accept that fact a long time ago, but wrinkled clothing did really annoy him. "No, I'm not really ok....Seanna....just give me back the boxers so I can get dressed," it was probably the most stern he had had to be with anyone since he had to tell Krissy to knock off her potato throwing. Alexander was just purely annoyed. He stood back up straight and looked up the stairs. "Or I could go get on other clothes....your choice, but right now, Miss Marcellus....just after everything, I'm tired and....well yea," he stumbled over his words, his face getting red again. He didn't know why, but he was really letting Seanna get to him, and all he could wish was that he had clothes on so that he could at least a bit more comfortable.

(all in good time ;D)
Seanna raised one, perfectly blond eyebrow at him, not liking the way he spoke to her at all and anyone that really knew her, would know by now that when someone told her to do something, she would do the complete opposite. It wasn't her fault that Alexander had managed to spray his clothes everywhere, nor was it her fault for him dropping his underwear.
"You do have clothes, though" Seanna stated again, her raised eyebrow still up. "They're right there on the floor and if you really want your underwear, I could probably hand them over, but you know, these need a wash first... " Seanna trailed off, bringing the underwear out from underneath her bum and in the open, carefully putting them in her lap, but she still didn't like the tone of voice that he had taken with her. It wasn't like she was some child, all he had to do was ask nicely and she would get him some clean underwear.
"I could probably go and get you some fresh clothing if you want" Seanna stated, not backing down, but figuring she should probably go and get some clothing for Alexander, it was probably better if she did it, after all. Still, she wasn't sure why she was offering to do this for him. Not after the way he snapped at her. It wasn't like she wasn't tired either, but she was happy to be having some fun for the first time in awhile and not being enveloped in gloom and doom all the time.

Alexander could tell that Seanna didn't like the way he spoke to her just by the way she spoke back and by the tension that had increased in the room between the two of them but at that moment they were talking about him being either in a towel or in his clothing. Alexander could only imagine what would happen if Krissy came down the stairs and saw them, or wherever she was. No, that would not be a good thing. How would he explain that himself to her after everything that had happened between them at the invasion and on top of the way he was feeling for her. And then Seanna stopped his thought process abruptly, "You, get my clothing?! Ha!"
The horror that was filled Alexander's mind at he turned from Seanna and put his hand on his forehead to hold himself back from saying something not thought out. He could just picture it now. She'd pick for him the most awful, unmatching clothing, the most wrinkled, and the most....just horrible articles of clothing he had for him to wear, not to mention what would the boys think if Seanna was going through his clothing to wear? What? That he had to have a woman dress him like a child? Oh, no. That wouldn't do at all.
"I'd rather if you didn't," Alexander said turning around and finding his boxers in her lap. What was her deal? Did he just like to see him vulnerable and standing in a towel? Alexander didn't want that answer. The relationship he had with Seanna was just friends, professional if anything. He wouldn't find it professional at all if there was anything else between them. "Nevermind," he said. "I'll go up the stairs and get new clothing." Alexander said as he walked towards her to pass her when he tried to go up the stairs.

Clearly, he didn't know her. Seanna wasn't that evil, she would've gotten decent clothing for the boy, she could be fashion conscious when she wanted to be. It was part of the charm of growing up in Milan, she had learned to dress fashionably at a very young age. The Huffle kept up on the latest fashions, even still while she was still here at Hogwarts. If truth be told, she really did miss shopping in Milan.
Still with the raised eyebrow up, her eyes went a steely, dark brown. If there was something she hated the most, it was being judged and in her own, angry eyes, she felt she was being judged by Alexander. "What exactly, would be wrong with me getting your clothes?" Seanna asked him softly, as he passed her on the stairs. If he wanted to go and his own clothes, she would let him, but she needed to know what exactly was wrong with her getting his clothes, before he did go.
Holding up the underwear like a flag, she didn't look at him, but focused her angry eyes on the fire. "Here, you may need them to match the rest of your outfit with" Again, she said it quietly. It was then she decided she couldn't really trust Alexander. Especially if he could turn on her just like that when all it was, was a bit of fun. Really, if he couldn't handle having fun in a house that liked to have a lot of fun, how would they be able to get along at all?

Alexander stopped on the stairs as Seanna spoke and leaned against the railing with his free hand. What was the problem? What was the problem? Alexander could mention many things, such as the fact that he had no idea if she could and could not match clothing, not to mention what if she found his products going through his stuff? She'd know about his condition and that was one secret that he'd rather not let anyone else know. It was bad enough that Krissy had walked in on him using them one day. If the two of them didn't have an understanding, Alexander had worried about it multiple times going around the house, or worse yet, the whole entire school. "I never said there was a problem, now did I?" Alexander had just suggested it with his laugh, but he had never fully said it. "I would just rather not have you going through my things...that is it." Alexander made his way back down the stairs.
As Seanna flung up his boxers, he looked at them and really wasn't one for caring if the underwear matched. No one usually saw them, and as much as he liked his clothing to match, he had never once said it out loud that that was the only reason he didn't want her going through his things, though it had been on his mind majorly as his first worry. To think that after all this time, the matching aspect would be his first worry and then his beauty products....Alexander almost wondered if he needed to get his priorities in line. Her finding the products would be much worse than the miss match of clothing she may put on him jokingly.
"Thank you," he said just as soft as she had spoke, gently taking the boxers from her. He knew that she was just as upset with him as he was with her, but didn't want to do anything about it. How would she understand or realize what buttons she was presssing? And though they were friends, even friends kept secrets from one another....
"I'm going to go get dressed....." he paused, hesitating to go on as he picked up his clothing from the floor. "....you going to be out here when I come back? I really....I just......Seanna....you just don't understand...." Alexander couldn't tell her why, but she had gone too far even with as much joking as this house did. He was a black sheep no matter where he went, so by that time Alexander had gotten used to it, but he never would have wanted this to go out the way it had. Why did she have to be so stubborn? Why did all of the huffle women seem to be that way? He couldn't understand it....and at the same time, he, like his father, found the stubbornness unfortunately highly attractive.

Letting her arm drop back into her lap, she still didn't look at Alexander. Again, he had misunderstood her. Never once did she say there was a problem, she had asked him what was wrong. In the process, confusing herself and asking a question within a question. The Huffle wanted to know what was wrong with her getting the clothes, but at the same time, she wanted to know why Alexander didn't want her to get the clothes and she had gotten her answer when he had replied.
"Uh huh" Seanna said simply. The answer being that not only did she not trust him now, it sounded like he didn't trust her. Okay, so he had good reason not to trust her, after playing a game that she clearly shouldn't of played with him. Not only from now on did she have to think of what to say to people, she also had to think of what she did to people, especially if it could turn out how the current episode was turning out.
The Huffle just didn't like thinking before she did things, it was the reason why she wasn't a Ravenclaw. Seanna did things more on impulse than thinking through things.
"You just don't understand" Seanna wrinkled her nose and made a face towards the fire, fidgeting slightly in her place on the stairs. Those four words, she had heard them a plenty of time in the past and she was beginning to hate them. No, she wouldn't understand what Alexander wanted her to understand, if she didn't get told what there was to understand. That comment was just like saying, "I don't trust you enough to tell you something" Again, that feeling of there was something that she couldn't quite trust Alexander, came too and it made her think that he was hiding something.
Not feeling as angry as she was before, but still feeling pretty angry, she let her brown eyes glance up at Alexander. "Only if you want me to be here" The blond girl answered back, it was back in Alexander's court, now. It was one thing for her to want to be sitting here when Alexander came back, it was another for him to want her to be sitting here when he got back.

It was not the answer he wanted. Alexander had wanted a simple yes or no from the Hufflepuff Prefect, and yet she was leaving it all in his hands to decide whether or not she stayed in place. Did he want her there? Yes. He didn’t want her to leave on such a rotten note that was for sure. Of course, when he thought about the reasoning for why he wanted her to stay, it was a selfish reason. Alexander wanted her to stay because he felt guilty. He was still upset with her, highly, but at the same time, he was annoyed at himself for upsetting her in the process. Alexander knew he shouldn’t have, but he was protective over his own stuff and his business. It wasn’t as if Seanna would tell everyone in the house, and Alexander knew that, but at the same time he just wished he could deal with his issues without everyone knowing he had them. Not to make things right between him and her, it looked as if he’d have to tell Seanna the truth and that bothered him greatly.
“Yes,” he said a bit too short as he hurried himself back into the bathroom, half of himself hoping that she’d get up and leave, the other half of himself hoping that she didn’t. Getting dressed in all the wirnkled clothing, he felt unorganized, but it only matched his hair as he left the stall and looked in the mirror. By this time, his short hair had practically dried, and when it did, it did so in multiple different directions. “Just bloody great,” he said out loud to himself as he filtered his hand through his hair. It didn’t do anything so he just left the bathroom hoping that Seanna still sat where he had left her.

If Alexander had still been looking, he would've seen one, blond raised eyebrow arching it's way back up as Seanna watched him hightail it back to the bathroom. That was probably the shortest answer in the shortest amount of time she had ever gotten, and she knew Mike, the person who said the least when it came to answering questions. The Huffle shook her head slightly, at least he hadn't hesitated, that meant in Seanna's mind that Alexander did really want her to be waiting here on the steps when he came back.
But did she really want to be waiting here, when he got back? Did Seanna really want to be around someone that didn't trust her? or even worse, that she was beginning not to trust? At the same time, she wasn't sure why she didn't trust Alexander anymore, just that her instincts were throwing out warning signals and for the first time in her life, she thought she'd better listen to her instincts, they had never let her down in the past, and yet, Seanna never bothered to listen to them.
The girl was all in her reverie when she saw the now clothed figure of Alexander coming out of the bathroom and Seanna was now glad that he was covered up, at least now she would be able think more sensibly and not of things she shouldn't be thinking. Deciding at least, to be honest with herself and with Alexander, she asked him the one thing she really wanted to know; "So, what exactly is it that you don't trust me with?" Seanna was never one in beating around the bush, preferring to come straight out and ask, it was the best way she thought, instead of second guessing all the time.
And yes, Seanna had decided to stay where she was for the meantime.

(Whoot for awkward thread crashing after the good parts! ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) ) " Liaaaannnnna! It's eight o'cloooock!" It was morning again... Yay. Another sunrise beginning to another day missed. The dorm was bright and quiet, the air outside would be cold, just like any other day. As her eyes flickered open all Lianna found herself wanting to do was drift back into the first partially peaceful sleep she had had in days, to just sleep nightmare it all away and try again for the sunrise tomorrow. but this was not to be, and since that oh-so-kind second year lass Morenly decided to shout through the inconsiderately left open door that it was eight in the morning made such opportunity now pass by in a whim, pity. Wait, it was eight? So now she'd missed the sunrise and breakfast?! It was already shaping up to be a very bad day...and bad days never got better than what they started, that was just fate and an unwritten law of space time. Everyone knew this. And so it was with the smallest gaggle of whining protests, a large amount of fatigue and heavy reluctance that Lianna Maylorn climbed out of her four poster and wearily trudged toward the stairway to the common room. She needed to find Morenly, clobber her one with a pillow and only then would she be able to actually say she added a good note to her already bad day, or perhaps she should just start saying bad January? From the landing at the top of the stairs still garbed in her light blue nightgown with pillow cradled under her right arm, the Hufflepuff found that Morenly had already bounced her chipper self off to class. Lianna almost turned and went back to bed, actually the girl had made it halfway there before her tired eyes caught sight of something, or rather, someone else and all she could do was stare, blink, wake up rather suddenly, blush and well, pretty much anything but move as the elder Huffle boy seemed to storm frustratingly into the bathroom with nothing but a towel... For a long time she did nothing but stand there, nothing but mentally argue with her brain on how good or bad a moment she had just witnessed. And just when her brain had determined that the boy wasn't coming back out anytime soon, the door opened once again to reveal Alexander returning...clothed...thank Merlin. It went with the air of the room (to which she was suddenly realizing was not the most hospitable) that for her to speak would be unwelcome, but for her to stand there would probably bring just as much displeasure. Quietly the third year took careful steps back trying toward her dorm, the last thing she wanted was her precence... " Lianna! You're awake!" Exposed... The third year quickly turned and threw her pillow toward the trying-her-patience second year lass who merely ducked back into the dorms. She emerged only once right after, and just long enough to stick her tongue out and be done. So much for Well quietly spying observing escaping now. Lianna slowly turned back toward the elder two below, with a sheepish smile on her face and now only pinked cheeks. The morning's image would be stuck with her the rest of the day and although it really wasn't such a bad image to her, it was probably going to be the source of more fuel to her southward turning day... Bad morning, meet worse morning. Make with the merry.

Alexander stood in front of his blond friend, only to kneel on one knee so that he could be in front of her. Internally, he sighed, for she was still there and he wanted to get such notions of distrust that she was thinking that he was having with her. Wasn’t he allowed to have privacy of his own things? Alexander wondered to himself how she would like it if he were to go through her things, such as her undergarments and such. Though Alexander knew that that wasn’t what he was worried about her shifting through, rather his beauty products, and acne clearing creams, along with many other of his embarrassing skin clearing items were all located in the top of his trunk, right above any of this clothes. Alexander wasn’t worried that the girl in front of him couldn’t match, as much as he was worried about her finding out his personal life.
Only when she asked her question about trust, however, was Alexander able to push away his thoughts about his own frustrations and annoyance a bit to produce a genuinely apologetic smile. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust her really, it was more that he didn’t want his life known by too many people.
Wasn’t bad enough Krissy knew? And she’d be the last person that he’d want to know anything about that, especially the little that she did know.
Alexander sighed a little, this time out loud. “Seanna,” he said, placing his hand on her knee softly, hoping she wouldn’t bat him off. “I do trus…” Lianna! Your awake!
Looking up toward where the voice came from, Alexander’s lavender eyes met with those of a younger, and familiar huffle. “Ah, good morning, Lianna.”
Her smile was meek and almost shy, and Alexander tipped his head and gave the young Lianna a wink to wish her good morning. She was an adorable lass, and at the moment, she had just thankfully interrupted probably one of the most unthought out parts of his day. Alexander now had a few minutes to plan out how he was actually going to explain to Seanna what he wanted to say. Of course, he’d tell her when the girl wasn’t around. There was no need letting all of the girls in the house know that he probably used more facial creams and cleaning products than any of them. Not to mention, he couldn’t imagine what hassles he’d get from the older students knowing, let alone the younger ones.
Who knew who else was up there that could hear what Seanna and him were speaking of.

"Ah, good morning, Lianna."
Good morning? Well...maybe depending on how you looked at her perspective of it...and did he just wink at her?! Whatever thoughts about it becoming a good morning immediately vanished with that simple gesture. Had he seen her before when...was it possible? She was sure he hadn't even looked her direction and yet now... Well, now she was panicky and if she hadn't locked her knees originally she probably would have fallen backward unconscious.
All the boy's kindhearted intentions had managed to do was bring the blush back to her face (which she hoped neither of them could see), cause that meek smile to remain and Lianna to nibble at the inside of her lower lip. If he had seen, he wasn't offended, if he hadn't then it was harmless and while she was pretty certain the sixth year was harmless anyway that just made him...more...harmless?
"M...Morning..." Lianna stammered in reply, hoping she sounded more tired than nervous. This was all Morenly's fault...the one time she would rather have remained invisible, the girl had to open her big mouth. And now where was she besides standing nervously at the top of a stairway? Was her morning really any better?
Her timid smile got a bit wider as she tried to make her feet move, but the awkwardness kept her rooted. "Am I...um...interrupting?" Seanna was sitting, Alexander was kneeling...and while she couldn't think of anything that really explained what was below...it looked..well...odd. And odd spectacles were generally important ones -- right?
"Missed me!" came the rather obnoxious voice from the dorms. She didn't want to go down, lest she wind up confirming her current fear, and if she went back...well...shrieks would probably be the last things eventually heard. Stuck, was now an odd and true understatement.

The raised eyebrow continued to be there when Alexander had put his hand on her knee. It wasn't really necessary with the question of trust being floated around in the air, it just made Seanna feel even more funny being in Alexander's presence right then and now at that moment. "Do you mind... " The Huffle began to ask the boy in front of her, but her question as well as the answer that she needed to hear was swallowed up.
A distraction in the name of Lianna that had been supplied from Alexander's lips to Seanna's ears had just happened and the older Huffle's eyes widen at Alexander. This was certainly not good. Seanna turned her blond head towards the young girl's voice and her own cheeks turned a pale pink at what Lianna must be seeing and thinking.
"Hello, Lianna" Seanna added after Alexander's greeting. "It's a great to day be up, isn't it? First day without any Deva around and all" Okay, a change of subject was needed and it was provided, next step was to explain the situation to the young girl on top of the stairs, but Seanna was full out of explanations.
Turning her blond head back to the boy in front of her, she gave him a small smile. "Wouldn't you say so, Alexander?" Yes, Seanna knew she hadn't answered Lianna's question of whether or not she was interrupting, truth was, she really couldn't start to explain what it was that Lianna was interrupting, but she couldn't really lie to Lianna either, it was either change the subject or tell the other girl her and Alexander were having a discussion on trust.

Alexander was quick to remove his hand from Seanna, seeing that she really wasn’t too thrilled with the idea of him touching her. He kicked himself, knowing that that probably wasn’t the best of all options at that moment, but at the same time not really knowing what else to do. He really didn’t want to spill about himself to all of the Huffle girls, but at the moment it seemed as if that would be the only way Seanna would even listen to him.
And then there was Lianna, and with her there Alexander definitely wasn’t about to spill anything. Sure, Lianna was one of the most mature younger individuals in the Huffle house, but everyone loved gossip. And it seemed Alexander was full of it, and most of it was about him.
Seanna smiled back at him when she went to change subjects and Alexander almost felt defeated. Was the smile one just for the younger huffle? He could only imagine so, though it was directed at him. Yes, they’d have to discuss stuff at a later time, but in the meantime he’d get to think about it.
“Oh yes, a lovely day indeed.” Alexander nodded his head as he paused and then whispered to his fellow classmate. “One fit for discussing things at a later time perhaps as well?” he asked, worried about the option of her saying no. "So, what are you plans for the day, Lianna?" Alexander asked the younger Huffle, not really knowing what else to say.

Neither of them had answered her question, not that it surprised her really. It looked odd, and chances were she was in fact interrupting but then when was the last time she hadn't interrupted something awkward? Yeah, it had been quite awhile. Her appearance, rather her being involuntarally made known, had made them both quickly voluntarily shut up and become far more concerned about herself and the day than whatever she had been so intuitively observing. Curses. Now, what had been all those words they spewed out at her?
First day without any Deva, yes, a great day to be up, eh...that was openly debatable in her eyes which speaking of had glanced back toward the doorway behind her at the sounding of the question. Yes. It was debatable...and she certainly wouldn't call it the loveliest of days by any standard...except for maybe one...but they didn't need to know that. "I-I guess..." Lianna replied with a nervous nibble of her lip. That was turning into a rather painful habit and she really needed to stop it but she found she couldn't no matter how hard she tried.
When Alex's voice finally shot a question her way Lianna found herself unable to fully meet his eyes, even though the question was probably one of the most simplest in the world. "I um...I...I havn't really thought that far..." a brief pause. "You know...I really feel like I'm interrupting and...er..."
Damn the consequences.

No, Seanna really couldn't lie to Lianna now, it just wasn't in her to lie to any of her Huffles. Actually, that was a lie in itself, she had lied to Mike in the past, but she figured she had a probable excuse to lie to him. Lianna, on the other hand, Seanna didn't have a probable excuse to lie to her, she just had to rearrange the version of what the younger girl had interrupted, so she didn't have to completely lie to her.
Looking over at Alexander, the smile stayed on her face. Yes, Seanna couldn't lie to Lianna, but she didn't have to look at the girl and give away what was on her face. "No, you really weren't interrupting anything, Lianna" The older girl's brown eyes stayed on Alexander when she continued to say the next bit, trying to tell him that she wouldn't fully give away what they were talking about.
"Alexander and I were just having a discussion on trust, one that we can continue another time" Seanna informed the younger girl, still not looking at her and answering Alexander's question at the same time. "Unless, you wanted to join in with us?" Seanna bought her hand up to her mouth quickly, brown eyes widening and she mentally slapped herself. The girl really hadn't meant to say the last bit, it just came out all on it's own accord.
Though, Seanna wouldn't have minded Lianna's advice on the subject, the younger Huffle was really smart and could possibly help the older two out. Taking her hand off her mouth, she quickly added, "I mean, only if you wanted to, you don't have to if you don't want to" Really, she hadn't meant to say that and Seanna didn't want to drag Lianna into the conversation that her and Alexander were talking about previously.
Seanna was just hoping that Alexander understood her intentions on telling Lianna what they were talking about. If not, they were probably going to have more to talk about later on than just an issue about trust.
