Although Krissy had been interested to hear that Mike had helped Sarsha back to hufflepuff she had still been a quite bit worried about where Mike had been. A sign of relief swept over her face once more as Mike said he was okay. But his excuse... helping? "You should have come straight here!" Krissy said, a tiny bit more harshly that she had meant to. She had been worried about him and she knew helping the first years was definately a nessescity and it was good he had been. Which is why she felt guilty about what she said as soon as she said it. She also wasn't 100% sure why she was upset that he hadn't came straight here, helping was good. Maybe she didn't believe him.. but Sarsha did say mike had helped her...
"Sorry.." Krissy muttered looking away from Mike for a moment "..just come back quicker next time okay?" Krissy said to Mike quietly "We were almost going to send someone out looking for you..." Okay so the second bit wasn't 100% truthful, but it kinda hid the fact that she had been worried about him, and they had been going to look in the boys dorms...
Krissy turned to Sarsha and gave the small girl a smile "Do you want to come with me?" she asked the girl softly. "I'll look atfer you, nothing bad will happen while were in the common room okay?" Krissy gave Sarsha a smile and offered her her hand. Krissy figured she'd take her voer to where Lianna and Abi were too. They would probably get along.

Sarsha heard the boys reply but didn't say anything more, she was still slightly tremebeling from fear because of what she had heard in the coridor's. But she waited, listening to Krissy question the Mike. They seemed to know each other quite well and the Krissy seemed to be unhappy with Mike for taking so long to get there. She seemed kinda worried. But Sarsha thought no more into it than that.
Her eyes moved to Krissy as she spoke to her once more. Asking if she would like to stay with her. Sarsha decided it might be better to stick with someone bigger, they usually knew what to do in dangerous situations. "O..okay" she said softly to Krissy, accepting the girls hand, to let her lead her wherever.

Vanessa forced herself to look away from Mike as he came in. She stood fuming against the wall still, listening to what Mike was saying to the younger student and Krissy. Nessa scoffed and choked back a loud laugh she wanted to release as Mike tried to tell them he was helping others. Like that was even possible.
Irritated, Vanessa walked over to en empty chair in front of the fire and crashed on it, swinging her legs over one of the arms and resting her head on the other. Her body was curled up into a ball almost, wrapped in her warm sweater. For a moment or two, she let herself get lost in the crackling fire that was in the fireplace before she looked up at Mike again. She sighed deeply, turning away and looking into the flames. Boys are stupid she thought to herself bitterly.

Flora, who had been wandering the castle, finally came running into the common room. She had been somewhere on the fifth floor when she heard an announcement ringing through the school about returning to your house common room. Vonder vhats going on... she wondered on her way back.
"I made it!" Flora said coming into the room, where there seemed to be a lot of huffles already there. And of course since she was a bit late, Lexi might kill her for it but at least she showed up right?

Smiling at Jynx and nodding she said "Yeah, i hope your right." with a slight hint of doubt in her voice, but she knew she had to be strong as he was as well. However, seeing a little Huffle girl come in, then Mike and then Flora, she soon noticed Kian standing near by talking to Krissy. Well that was before the small girl talking to Krissy and Mike gave her a hug. Noticing them both break off from him however, she took a glance to Nessa sitting by herself in front of the fireplace by herself. Matty was torn to either go to Mike, Nessa or just stay with Jynx.
Turing around to face her boyfriend, she then said "I'm just gonna go talk to Mike for a minute... I'll be back soon." she gave him a smile before breaking off from his hand and squeezing through the filing room over to Mike. Sitting on the edge of the lounge next to him, she said "Hey Mike... You alright?" she gave a small flick of her head over to wards Krissy, the other student had looked a bit worried about him. She was also curious to make sure he was alright.

Mike looked up once more as Matty sat down beside him on the couch, but not before he had felt another gaze on him, and there was no need to bet on who it was coming from either.
But anyways Mike sent a small sincere smile to Matty as she asked him if he was alright, Krissy and her were probably his closest friends over the last week, they had really worked hard to get him out of the downward spiral that he was heading into.....you could say Mike owed them his life.
"Aye, I'm alright especially thanks to Krissy and yourself"
He said in a rather happy voice for once

Taking a quick glance from Mike to Nessa, Matty assumed they weren't talking yet. Catching his smile however, the younger Huffle gave him a reassuring smile back before saying in reply to him "Well thats great to hear." she said in a -trying-to-be-cheery voice. Times like this were hard but all the same all students had to be brave for the others. Looking behind her for a second, she noticed Krissy and another small Huffle that Matty didn't know by name nor face.
"I saw you helping out that lil first year, thats thoughtful of you." at those words she nudged her head back a bit a smile still in place. It was good to see in now-days people still cared about one another. Whether they be small, old or the same age. That was bound to happen in a house like Hufflepuff anyway. Running her hands through her hair as Matty did when still a bit anxious. Things would be alright though, in the end everything would be okay.

As Sarsha gave her her hand Krissy, without another look at Mike, led the young girl away from the entrance to the common room and herded her over to where Abi and Lianna were sitting on the steps. She gave them both a smile "This is Sarsha" she said indicating to the young girl who was with her. "Can you's look after her shes quite very scared and not sure whats going on and I thought you's guys might all get along" she said to Lianna and Abi with a soft smile. The three girls were all around the same age so there was no reason really why they shouldn't get along, although for all Krissy knew they oculd already know each other. Krissy's voice was calm as she spoke to the young ones, as she always tried to keep it.
Krissy glanced accross the room towards where she had left Mike and realised suddenly that he wasn't there anymore. she turned suddenly once more glancing around, he wasn't far he had just situated himself on a couch now. Krissy shook her head. She needed to stop worrying, he was safe, he was here, he wasn't going anywhere. She was relieved when while in her momentary search for Mike she noticed Flora, now they were only missing a couple students. Mark and Ben still hadn't shown although perhaps they were in the boys dorms.
It was interesting to see that Mike was not talking to Matty, Krissy didn't know why but they were friends so she supposed it made sence. Her eyes glanced accross the room checking the ranks once more, her eyes lingering on Pat for a moment before returning to the youngsters in front of her. "Do you's guys need anything, are you hungry or anything?" Krissy questioned them.

Mike smiled at Matty when she said that it was nice that he had helped out Sarsha, thats when he thought about what he would of done a week ago if this had happened then, he probably would of still helped her, but only cause it was on his way. But over the last week Mike had done alot of thinking and had grown up more, now he thought less about himself and more about other people.
Thats when he felt another gaze on him, and saw Krissy looking over at Matty and himself momentarily, now Mike had seen how much Krissy had been worried as he walked in and saw that all wash away when she had noticed him.
But thats how close of friends Krissy and he were, they were always there for each other.....no matter what had happened in their past

Noticing the smile on Mikes face, Matty returned an equal one before glancing over at Flora. She had met the small girl in the bathroom a long time ago now, and hadn't really seen her around that much, but all the same Matty was glad the the common room was now filling with even more Hufflepuff members which would help the stress to ease out.
Matty didn't know a time like this in her life when she had felt like this. It was like she could really feel the evil out in the grounds of Hogwarts right now. A mix of wanting to be brave, and just wanting to curl up in a hole somewhere feeling protected was the feelings she had right now. But if not for herself, but for others as well, Matty was going to be strong and not let her fear seep through the shield of courage at times like this. Feeling her wand safely tucked away in her faded jean's pocket, the girl looked back to Mike. "How long do you think this will last?" she questioned him in a half whisper voice, her eyes shifting around the room.

(Gah, so far behind....)
Where was Mark? It was a highly valid question as Lianna highly doubted the boy was sleeping. It had been a good while now, or at least it felt like it had been, and the fellow second year still wasn't here. She was becoming as concerned for the boy, if not more so than Abby was, and considering the magnitude of the rest of the situation it seemed pretty predictable. Liana's eyes seemed to wander into thought as she looked toward her friend's voice.
"I haven't seen him...I wish I knew..." Lianna replied in just as much of a whisper before Krissy brought over the first year girl she knew as Sarsha. Mind you, Lianna only knew her name, but it did make things alittle easier, at least for herself. And even though there was the new arrival with them, she wouldn't be able to focus until all of her friends were in the common room...which was, all of Hufflepuff in one sense. But in the other, the close sense, all were present, except Mark, and that was saddening.

"Hello," Abby murmured to the first year with a very weak and forced smile. "I'm Abby," she introduced herself. Shaking her head at Krissy because she didn't need anything, the Hufflepuff motioned to the spot beside her on the step which was open for a seat. "Want to join us?" Although young and many times naive, Abigail understood that Krissy needed to go around the common room and perhaps the castle to round up all the Puffs and couldn't do so with a scared firstie clinging to her leg (much like Abby did the previous year). Besides, it would be nice meeting someone new around her age despite the unfortunate circumstances.
Looking at the sixth year once more though, Abigail asked with pleading eyes, "Oh, and Krissy, could you keep an eye out for Mark please?" before the red-head left.

Sarsha nodded to the Abby but hapily (or as happily as she could manage) took a seat on the step next to her. She was glad to have at least some company. And if that big girl trusted these two then Sarsha would too, although scary most of the time, the girl held a sort of confidence that made Sarsha want to trust her. "I'm Sarsha" she said softly. Her formal introduction basically forgotten now. She heard the other girl ask about someone called Mark, Sarsha wondered who he was, and where he was. This whole situation was really scary and the thought that some poeple still hadn't returned was also quite very scary.

Krissy nodded to Abi as she asked her question. "Don't worry, I'll find him" she said to Abi. Mark was one of the huffles to and she was gonna make sure they all made it back to the common room. Every single one of them. Any who were still missing now would have to be found. "I'll be back okay?" she said to the three young ones on the steps. Krissy turned and left Abi, Lianna and Sarsha and made a beeline for the head of house. "We need to find the other hufflepuffs" Krissy said to him. As much as she didn't want to get along with him now was not the time to fight. They probably both wanted the same thing and he was the only way Krissy would be allowed out. "A few are still missing. I'll go check the dorms and then if they aren't there we'll need to search the castle" Krissy didn't wait for an okay from the head of house she turned and headed back towards the dorms. She flashed a smile to Lianna and Abi on her way up the girls staircase. (As a note, Seanna is on a leave of absence due to RL issues, so I'm going to write her in as being sick, and in bed in the girls dorm. Also, any huffles on our roster that are feared missing will not be included in our count. Because if they havent been onin months its unlikely they'll show up to this thread ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) )

Marvin smirked slightly at the red headed girls actions. She really didn't have much appreciation for authority figures which led him to wonder exactely why. But what she did have was a good sence of house pride and loyalty, it was very obvious why she was a hufflepuff. She seemed very keen to make sure everyone made it back safe and sound. He agree'd with her thoughts 100% although she wasn't allowed to wander the halls. It was dangerous.
However, checking the dorms was a very decent idea and he would let her do that no worries. He found it interesting how she was taking this into her hands. She wasn't a prefect so why did she care so much? And what exactely were his prefects doing? Marvins eyes glanced aroud the room, there were quite a few worried faces and his own mind was etched with worry too. He had grown up in the times of the dark lord, to see something like this happen.. it was terrifying.
