September 1, 2008 10:07 P.M. Gryffindor Common Room
After Felicity (ooc: I'm pretty sure of it, if not, correct me on this) and Tristan got all the first years the tour, and got everyone what they needed. He was finished for the night. Not sure where everyone else was at. But all he knew that the time was 10:07 P.M. and they were only eight people in the main common room, while everyone else was in their dormitory. He sighed, as he couldn't believe Jason was still gone. His best friend of all time, gone and probably wasn't going to come back. Or atleast he didn't know.
He sat down on the couch, with only a white tank top on and tan shorts, with white ankle socks on. He stared at the fire for awhile. Memories of the past starting coming up, and he just wasn't ready for bed. He needed to talk to someone before he winded up in bed.

Ryan just wasn't ready to go after the feast was finished. He just needed that little bit more of wandering, to get familiar with his surroundings once again. It felt awesome to be back, although slightly odd, as he had really gotten used to being home. But nothing could last forever, in fact, he only had another three years left at Hogwarts, and even that saddened the boy. It just seemed so odd that once he left Hogwarts after his seventh year, there was no coming back. Ryan had really set his sights on being a teacher here once he left, perhaps a Care of Magical Creatures professor, or even potions. But he knew that he probably wouldn't get the grades for that anyways.
The boy, still wearing his new robes, walked up to the towers. Upon meeting a professor that he didn't know ("Get back to your common room, mister. It's the first day back, I won't minus points as long as I don't see you again tonight.") Ryan found his way back to the Gryffindor common room. He mumbled the password to the picture, and climbed into the warmth of the common room. Thinking that he was alone, Ryan took a seat near to the fire and took off his shoes and his cloak, leaving him in his white shirt and black long pants. He loosened his tie and relaxed back, hanging his head off the side of the chair.
He glanced up, noticing a person. "Tristan, mate! When did you get there?" He said, jumping out of his seat. Ran sat back down and smiled. "Mate. Are you alright?" He said, in a caring tone. Well, as caring as a fifteen year old boy could manage, anyways.

Well, as caring as a fifteen year old boy could manage, anyways. He looked up at the frigten person who said his name. It was Ryan Callahan. "I got here long time before you did," he said chuckling. "Yeah I'm alright. Why wouldn't I be?" he asked. He met the boy last year in a Gryffindor meeting where everyone got to know the Prefects. He exchange a few words with Ryan a few times, but never hung out or anything. Really, he was hanging out with more of the Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs more than his own house. But that had to change this year. "So.... first night back and your late back in here. Didn't get us points docked off fast did you?" he asked grinning. Of course, he knew the professors or anyone wouldn't dock points on the first night, but Ryan was a fifth year, he should know that too.

Of course Ryan had to know Tristan, as the boy was Gryffindor Prefect. But how did Ryan not notice the boy, it wasn't like he blended into the surroundings, in fact, he was quite differently coloured. "You sure? I mean... Of course you'd know if you were here before me... I didn't see you is all..." Ryan said, shrugging his shoulders. Ryan really needed to get his eyes checked. "You just... You were just quiet is all." The boy didn't know why he thought that something may have been wrong, it was just that he sensed something was in the air.
"Late. Yeah." Ryan laughed, scratching the back of his neck. "I got caught by some teacher, or something, and he said that he wouldn't deduct any." The boy was quite lucky, you wouldn't want to go into minus points on the first night back. "Lucky, ayye." Ryan grinned.

As soon as the first years had been guided to the Gryffindor Tower, what they would be calling home for hopefully the next seven years, Felicity climbed right up into the girl's dormitories, not sure how she felt about being back. It was nice, but at the same time she couldn't help but worry. After this year most of the people she knew were going to be gone, having graduated. Alexander, Drew, Tristan, Hiro, Charlie, and the list could go on. She knew a fair few in her year and the years below her, but they weren't the same as those in the year ahead of the blonde, other than her best friend Celina. Celina was different from everyone else, mainly because of who the girl was.
Dressed in blue coloured, plaid-patterned pajama bottoms and a dark blue tank top with Drew's sweatshirt that she had yet to return to him from the previous April, Felicity traveled down the stairs to see what was going on in the common room. It was relatively quiet for the first night back, but she figured maybe with everything that had happened that year people were more willing to remain quiet, at least for a few nights. The first years were likely quiet due to being frightened by the looming thoughts of classes the next day, but that still left out a good chunk of the den.
As she descended into the common room, she caught something Tristan said about being back late to the common room, and was furious all ready. While she had her own plans about things, she in no way wanted Gryffindor to lose points, especially this early in the term. The House had a major blow because of her last spring, with losing one hundred and fifty points, but if she heard anything about anyone in the House losing points, there was going to be war, followed by a stern lecture. She didn't really care, it wasn't happening.
"Make sure there isn't a next time and from now on you're back here on time," she replied after entering the common room fully. Who cared if he was lucky this time, luck only got a person so far. If the boy was late and lost them points for it, she had no problem docking a few points more herself...it was all a part of the plan in reality.
Walking over to the couch where Tristan was, Felicity folded her arms and sat down on one end, trying not to glare at the almost troublemaker.

He sighed. The way he talked sounded like this was his first night, which is wasn't. "You sound like this your first night at Hogwarts. You can't wonder off and come back late. I learned that in my third year. Three detentions, bunch of punishments. Don't feel like saying anything else about it," he said as he sighed once more. He couldn't get to sleep, and all he could think about is what he could do since this was his last year. His finally decision on what he wanted to do when he was older was official. He needed to worry about that a lot.
Then he heard Felicity come in and tell Ryan the same thing. Or she had a more of a detail. He nodded. Then seeing her drop down on the couch with her arms folded got him curious.
"You alright, Felicity? I know the first years were hard to deal with, but you'll get used to it," he said.

The first years were hard to deal with? It almost made the blonde want to snort in response, but she refrained. It wasn't the first years, she loved younger people, it was the whole idea that she was made a Prefect. What were Brady and Raynor thinking? Torture. That's all that must have been on their minds. Celina wasn't even made into a Prefect and she was much more deserving of the title than Felicity was. Celina had been at Hogwarts since her first year, Felicity only a year long; Celina wasn't a goof off in most of her classes, Felicity was; Celina hadn't screwed up as many O.W.L.s as Felicity; Celina worked her tail off; Celina was more talented; Celina was pretty easy to get along with; the only default of the girl was that she was slightly crazy and talked to her cat. Then again, Felicity talked to Sammy, her squirrel.
"I'm fine," she sighed in response. Was she supposed to tell Tristan she didn't think she should've made Prefect? She wasn't sure. If Ryan hadn't been there, she might've. But as it was, the boy was there and she didn't know if she was supposed to tell Tristan a mistake had been made and that Raynor was just trying to torture her so she could have more tea parties with that horrid man. Though, hopefully if she ever did tell anyone it would sound more comprehensive than that.
Keeping her gaze on Ryan, she waited for him to answer her. She was expecting him to throw a fit or to push limits, and if limits were pushed, she didn't mind throwing them back, especially since she thought it might help her get the badge taken away. If it weren't for her parents, she would've all ready sent it back and wouldn't have to worry about having it.
